The company uses very deceptive practices. I called to rent a boom the middle of Feb to have a boom delivered to Snowflake AZ. I paid nearly $1000 to rent it for the day so I asked very specific questions about what time it would be delivered and what time it would be picked up. I pressed further to ask whether I had 24 hours to use the equipment of which they said yes so long as I returned it or had it available to pick up the same time they delivered it the following day. I used it for the day and had it available before the time that they had dropped it off the day earlier. They took 2 1/2 days actually to pick it up. A few days later I get a bill for another $218 saying that they charged five hours of overtime. I called customer service and accounts receivables and Victoria told me that she would review the tape to see what was said during the rental agreement. They did say that if I wanted to extend that I needed to call them to extend for additional hours. I never called them to extend and I had it available to pick up within 24 hours after they dropped it off. They never got back to me, of course. Not worth your time go to somebody that’s honest.

They sent me a 30’ electric boom lift with a battery that lasted less than 30 minutes. The unit was smoking from the engine compartment and making popping and knocking noises. It did not feel safe to operate, so I refused to use it.

Despite delivering unsafe equipment, they would not credit any of the rental fees.

If you want reliable equipment and professional service, go somewhere else.

BEWARE! Shady business owners. One of the owners (Dallas) has just recently screwed over another business owner. They were business partners in another business, however the other guys wife got sick with cancer and was going through therapy, unbeknownst Dallas took out millions in loans, falsified the other dudes signatures while he was away and did not pay vendors they owed money to.

I don’t trust anything that is near this Dallas guy, beware they might pull something shady in this business too.

My husband and I flew from CA to TX because we had to get a hangar door off a semi truck! We reserved two 5k pound forklifts to be delivered before 0700 October 30! We said “THEY HAVE TO BE HERE BY 0700, the truck driver has three more deliveries after ours!” They assured us they would be there the night before or by 0700. Oct 29th 1700 go by site to se if fork lifts are there and no fork lifts. We called they assured us they would be there at 0700. Well 0700 came we called same guy we have been speaking with since the reservation was made (strong accent) states “delivery window between 7-9!” They arrived at 10:00! To make matters worse they gave the driver the wrong address. We have an order three weeks from now for equipment we were renting for a month, that will be cancelled! Big Rentz company ever!

Do not use this company. If you do, like me, you will be sorry.

Customer service is about getting money and not answering clearly asked questions or being helpful. I asked for a quotens on scissor lifts and gave dates, I was given price. I asked for break down and was given overall price again. I asked for manager and was given a $200 discount after telling them every other companies is $300+ cheaper and father away! I asked for manager again. Got break down after asking clearly several times. She was impatient and didn't want to
answer. I told her of other quotes and asked if she could do better. She said no. We went with United Rentals. Very friendly and considerably cheaper!

Stay away!
1. Had a lift that was not working, called the 800 number and they really didn't care. Said they would check on it and call me back, they never did. My employee called the number of the company who owned the lift to get assistance (it was a simple reset).
2. Figured we would try again with this company....had a lift scheduled to be delivered, they showed up after the delivery window, and they refused to refund after we told them to cancel.
3. three or four times, customer service representative said they would call me back after checking on a request, and I never heard back.

I will not use BigRentz in the future unless it is the absolute last resort.

Do better.

A Joke. Paid in advance, was told the delivery was made. IT WAS NOT. Had a Crew I was paying on site for hours cooling their heels. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I rented a forklift for one day. Everything went well until pick up. The fork lift hasn't been picked up for 12 days and I had to call them to finally pick it up.
It looks like this is their business model. As long as the rental equipment is on the customer premises the liability is up to the customer! In addition they save on storage space for the rental equipment.

I RENTED A BOOM LIFT FOR 1 MONTH PAID 45 FT GOT IT DELIVER IT BROKE DOWN 1 HR FROM WHEN I GOT IT CALL TO GET IT FIX THEY DID NOT COME TILL THE NEXT DAY. LOST 1 DAY OF WORK.
THEY FIX IT THEY SEND ME A BILL OVER $2000.00 THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I PAID FOR" PROTECTION " THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
IS A SAFETY ISSUE SENDING FAULTY EQUIPMENT TO WORK SITES. OSHA PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS.

I needed a boom lift, and their site said $242 per day for either diesel or electric. They said no electric was available, so I said the diesel would be fine. When they sent the contract for approval, the $242 a day had jumped to $540 a day. Turns out, the rate was comparable to my area, but because they list such a low amount on the web site, I went with another company. It was a definite bait and switch.

Terrible experience. Poor communication. They have no idea what they are doing. We rented a boom lift and it was an absolute headache dealing with bigrentz staff. At no point, were we able to communicate with anyone local. They had extra charges applied weeks later, which is currently being disputed. This company will be a waste of your time and money. I recommend using another equipment rental company.

They should be bankrupt for what they do !!!

I submitted an order a week before I needed. They confirmed the order and the day before the job, they call me and tell me they cant provide the equipment. Very unprofessional. They had a week to figure this out and they waited until the last day cancel. I wish I could sue these guys. Now I have to scramble to find a replacement.

They advertise $141.00 a day for 5000 lb forlift. After getting the actual quote it was $800.00 a day. What a rip off company! Charging $175.00 to drop it off and pick it up! What a joke!

On January 8 I called Bigrentz to order a scissor lift, it was supposed to be delivered on January 10 to the Marshalls store where we had a $2500 job that was supposed to be done at night, and they were given instructions to ask the manager in the store where to deliver from the back door, not thru front entrance. On January 10 I was contacted by the store manager that there was no lift delivery, the manager even checked outside, but there was no lift and they canceled the job. From the words of Bigrentz driver wasn't able to contact anybody on the job site, even though the store was open all day and Bigrentz was given instructions to go in the store and ask the manager where to leave it, he decided to leave it somewhere outside behind the building without telling anybody. Bigrentz refused to do a refund and they sent me a phone call recording where it clearly says to go to the store, talk to the manager, and the manager gonna show where to bring it from the other side from the back door, not to the front door. I paid them $521.30 for rent, but I didn't receive a refund and lost the $2500 job. I need a refund for the service that I didn't receive.

Run away! They'll qoute you one thing but you get charged another. Took them days to get back to me. Then when they did my qoute for $2900 for a loader and excavator went to $3400 for just the excavator. Use a REAL local company not these Cali coms.

This is outsourced and they cannot guarantee certain size forklifts. Due to this they sent us oversized forklifts that would not fit into a standard bay door. Upon notifying them of this they said that they needed to cancel the order and rebook. Upon trying to rebook is when I was told that they cannot guarantee the size of the lift upon arrival. Needless to say we did not rebook. Two weeks go by and I paid $2100.00 to have them "attempt" to deliver the forklifts. I disputed the charges and was told "sorry not our fault". Go with a local company!!!!!!!
