If you're considering learning to ride a motorcycle, 'Bikes in Motion' is a superb choice!

After a poor experience with a Chelmsford based motorcycle training center years ago, I knew choosing the right company for my CBT and DAS was crucial. After extensive research, and reading countless reviews, I finally chose 'Bikes in Motion', and I can honestly say it was the best decision I could have made!

From the outset, the team made me feel welcome, and went above and beyond to not only ensure I learnt the skills required in a safe, controlled manner, but that the entire experience was an enjoyable one.

The white Hornet 750 I used throughout the training was in excellent condition and great fun to learn on. The fact it also had heated grips was a welcome bonus on those chilly mornings and just added to the overall enjoyment whilst riding.

I'm thrilled to say I passed Mod 1 with just one minor fault, and Mod 2 with zero faults!

I can't thank everyone at 'Bikes in Motion' enough, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to learn to ride.

I can’t recommend Bikes in Motion enough, they are the go to motorcycle training school in Essex. They’ve have made the whole process a really easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Big shout out to Karn you are an absolute legend and have an amazing calming manner. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and very professional, If you are looking to do a DAS course or anything motorcycle training related do with these guys you won’t regret it.
They got me a first time pass on both Mod1 and Mod 2.

I completed each module under the instruction of the bikes in motion team. They provided constructive feedback to improve bike skills. Communication was always dealt with swiftly by administration.

Went with bikes in motion for my CBT today. Had an excellent day. Never ridden a bike before, not even a moped. The training is fantastic from all the instructors. They make you feel very comfortable on and around the bike. I’m now looking to go for my full bike licence with them. The bikes are in amazing condition, all required clothing is supplied. Simply the best for bike instruction

What a great riding school this is! I used these for my Mod 1&2 and what a great set up they have. Started with a 2 hour session on private land getting use to a 650 bike, the following day several hours practicing at the DVSA Mod1 site where you take your Mod1 along with a nice ride out on many different roads getting use to the bike. Then the test the following day (passed)! Mod2, nice early 8am start and many hours riding using all the routes you could be doing your test on, test following day, passed!! These guys really make you feel comfortable on and around all the bikes. The instructors are really friendly, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. All the bikes are all relatively new and clearly well looked after. Anyone looking to get onto 2 wheels need not look any further! Not only probably the best riding school out there, but probably the best run business I’ve ever dealt with!!

From my CBT to my full licence through DAS,Dave and his crew were amazing.I can not rcomend this companu enough.

If you want to learn to ride these guys are simply amazing! So hopeful, patient and knowledgeable. It has been an absolute pleasure learing to get back into riding with Bike in Motion I cannot rate them highly enough, if there were a 6 star option it would be hit! Do yourself a favour and look no further than this school!

The best offering motorcycle school
Unlike some schools they use the DVSA mod 1 pad to practise on so you know exactly what to expect. You also get some Mod 2 training while carrying out your mod 1 which is very helpful to gain even more bike control.

They have fantastic knowledge of test routes and we had practised the route i did on my test

i passed mod 1 and mod 2 first time due to the training provided.

All of the guys at bikes in motion are brilliant and fantastic trainers so you are in safe hands no matter who carries out the training

Got my full bike license today having trained with bikes in motion right from CBT. Great bunch of guys can tell Dave really cares about his students and instructors. Enjoyed every day in training you have a good laugh along the way. If your looking to get your licence choose bikes in motion 100%

All the guys from Bikes in Motion were fantastic. My first time on a bike bigger than 125cc and they made the whole process smooth and easy. They’re all very friendly and extremely patient with all those learning to ride. I went from having a CBT and theory with almost no riding experience to a full license in 4 days having taken the DAS with Bikes in Motion. Thanks so much guys, couldn’t have picked a better lot to train with!

I'd definitely suggest Dave and his team to anyone aiming to ace their motorcycle driving test. Their expertise is unmatched and the instruction is top-tier. I cleared both mod1 and mod2 on my first try, all thanks to the BikeinMotion crew.

Dave, Kern and Wesley were very welcoming, helpful, experienced motorcyclists who trained me for Modules 1&2 recently. Thanks to them I got my dream of being able to ride a motorcycle calmly and professionally and passed both modules first time! Great fellas with great advice and very easygoing. Would definitely recommend these guys if you’re thinking of taking any motorcycle training.

Tracey, Dave, Kern and Wesley are some of the best people I've ever met. Very experienced and professional company. The communication by email from the office is great and very welcoming on the phone for any questions you have. They make it personal, which is a great touch, and ensure every student gets ample time on the bike and answer all questions. You are treated as person and not a statistic. They have helped me with multiple CBT's, A2 and A licence, which I passed them all first time, and no doubt this was due to their excellent instructing. The bikes are in perfect condition. Small touches like giving everyone a bottle of water whilst training really sets them apart from other companies.

Cannot fault Bikes in Motion and would only ever recommend this company to anyone considering a bike licence. Thanks again for the great times, I hope to see them all in the future.

From CBT through Mod1 and Mod2, the guys Dave and a special mention to Kern are excellent, easy passes due their training. Bikes are superb, facilities A1. Highly recommended, 5 stars.
