Managed to get a plumber out same day to fix a hole in a water pipe. Gavin twas courteous, knew his job and did it well. The rate for the job was very high, but this was made clear before the appointment was booked so no surprise. I did feel the firm took advantage of the situation in order to charge at the emergency rate and delayed their appointment until after 4pm for this reason. My bank account was incorrectly charged, but this was sorted out a few days later and a refund for the excess returned to my account. Would use the firm again if I was out of cheaper options and in a bind or for work that could be planned ahead of time.

Had a fan fitted - it lasted exactly 1 year, 1 month. As it was literally just over the one year old and hence out of warranty they wanted to charge for it (giving a tiny reduction!!!!!) Blamed tenant, fan, anything except they had fitted a faulty fan. Wanted to charge double it cost to get another electrician to replace it when they should have done it for free considering I spent nearly £900 getting it fitted in the first place and fans should last longer than just over a year. Other fans I have had fitted are still going after 15 years (though not supplied and fitted by P.Blackhall obviously!!).Wouldn't ever use them again - they are incredibly expensive and also the finish of fitting a shower door was poor. Only noticed after I had said they had done a good job, which was annoying.

Charged me over £500 to unblock a kitchen sink...Dynorod for the same job charged £137.
They invent work that needs to be done to bump up their charges. Worse than that the owner is bordering on abusive...when I questioned the price, he said he would pull the workmen if I wasn't going to pay for it, he also called me bitter which I found too personal.
I would definately avoid this company, definately wouldn't use them.
