Poor customer service, women stood at the front store she was talking to a friend, felt like I interrupted when I needed to ask a question, same poor service upstairs, the young lad was to busy talking to his girlfriend, we sat waiting at the shoes and he didn’t even come over and ask if we wanted any help, poor service all round

Came in in the week with some questions for an up coming trip and was served by Shannon. Her customer service was 10/10! She had so much experience and knowledge about so many different items. I was pointed in the right direction and was even able to learn some great tips and tricks! All my questions were answers and I left very happy. Would 100% recommend not just this store but talking to Shannon with your questions!

Returned a pair of faulty walking shoes 11 months after purchase on-line. The staff in the Lincoln branch couldn’t have been more helpful, perfect customer service and even produced a pair of size 13 shoes as a replacement and applied discount to the difference. I will always head here first for my outdoor needs.

I visited Black's Lincoln recently needing essentially everything. The staff member who helped me was great. She was very helpful, providing guidance around what the benefits of each product was and made sure I had everything I needed. A big thank you to her.

Just bought a Berghaus rain jacket cfrom Blacks Lincoln. Very helpful staff who were able to answer all of my questions about the jacket I wanted.

We received expert advice. Product knowledge was excellent and was matched to needs. All staff had great inter personal skills. Will was brilliant.

Michael was helping me last Friday, and helped me buy a coat. He explained that the coat was really warm and when I wore it today in the snow, I can tell you that he did an incredible job with picking a coat and told no lies. It kept me so toasty, thank you Michael for your services. I definitely will be making future purchases if every employee is like him!

The assistant was very knowledgeable and put us right. She was also very polite and cheerful.

I came in and was immediately greeted with Michael and I heard that it was his 2nd day on the job! Overall, he was very helpful and in the end I bought a new coat so if that doesn’t tell you what you need to hear about Michael then I’ll have to come over again and explain!

Wow, what a team! I’d had a pair of walking boots for 10 months when a fault appeared. They were still under guarantee but I had no proof of purchase. I could only remember the date that I bought them. This wasn’t a problem for them as they trawled through their till data and found me! Off I went with a new pair of boots. Nothing was a problem for Natalia and her brilliant team. Thank you so much 😊

I don't normally leave reviews but I wanted to thank the young lady who helped me at the Lincoln branch. Her name was Jess. She was funny and very knowledgeable and without her assistance I think I may have left empty handed.

Very happy with my experience

I believe it was Jessica who helped us look for camping gear for an upcoming trip we had planned. She was very helpful, gave us far more knowledge than I expected and we were able to leave with everything we needed!

I can’t thank her enough, we will definitely be back when we need more!

Came in with an issue with some boots I had bought online 11 months before. Assisted by two members of staff who were both very helpful.

Assistant manager processed the replacement and gave great service.

Good to know they look after you if something does go wrong with your purchase.
