Went here in December 2025 with back pain and revisited in April 2026 as the back pain had returned.
On my first visit I booked for a £57 introductory treatment however they took me into a room and told me I required X-rays in order to proceed and receive the treatment. They asked my partner and 2 year old to come out of the car and help me make the decision whether to go ahead or not, which felt in some way pressured.

I went ahead with the X-rays and it was only until these had been done that I could receive the treatment I initially paid for. Not only did I have to pay for the treatment (£57 as advertised on their website) but also £400 worth of additional X-rays which had not been mentioned as a requirement when booking or upon arrival.

When revisiting in April 2026 I paid for the treatment upfront and they tried to charge me for a product that I had been given to take away on my initial visit. Not a reasonable amount, 5 times the usual amount of the product. When I refused to pay for this due to the ridiculous amount, Christian asked me to leave and find somewhere else. I left out of pocket yet again and no better than when I went in!

I would stay away from this place if you are looking for honest, trustworthy care and are not willing to be faced by hidden cost.

I felt massively pressured into paying additional costs and for a place that is supposed to be prividing true care and treatment this place is far from it.

Save your pockets and your energy and find somewhere else!!

Currently away right now because me and my girlfriend travel a lot. We went to Bodywell because we saw their ads when we were in the area on Facebook and Instagram. It was a great experience. The clinic is very modern and has great equipment, and the staff are really friendly.

Really happy with my experience at BodyWell. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and it has really helped me to reduce my back pain and improve my sleep.

Ignored my moderate scoliosis my whole life (now 42yrs old). Im self employed and fit kitchens and bathrooms so my work is physical. My better half got me to go to bodywell. Thats where everything became apparant and clear as to whats actually going on with me. Clear xray images of exactly whats going on with my spine and neck. Nutritional bloods to show whats going on with my body and the reasons and medical explanations why. So far (6weeks in) i do feel the difference. Motion, pain relief, sleep, feeling better all round. Dr Christian, Dr Pat and thier team of experts are awesome, knowledgeableand and welcoming. Cant fault this practice.

I have been really impressed and gladly recommend anyone who is serious about their health and want to live a full and active life.

I have visited the BodyWell Group in August 2025, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. I spent a significant amount of money there and felt pressured into undergoing an X-ray that I didn’t feel was necessary. I was also pushed to purchase additional products and services, including supplements and an omega-3 blood test, which added unexpected costs.

Overall, the visit felt overwhelming, and the pressure to buy extra items made the whole experience stressful. What I hoped would be a helpful health appointment ended up costing me far more than I anticipated. Based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious, ask plenty of questions, and make sure you’re comfortable before agreeing to any tests or purchases.

I had a very disappointing experience at BodyWell Group. I felt pressured into paying for treatments I didn’t need, and it ended up costing me far more than expected. I was also told that Christian Farthing was a doctor, but after checking myself, that didn’t appear to be true. Overall, it felt misleading and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.

My time at Bodywell has been an amazing experience. I found bodywell while researching ways to improve my and my family’s health. After just a few months I can already notice a difference, my energy levels have improved dramatically and my aches and pains are almost non existent. Bodywell provides a very personable and comfortable environment, all the staff have been super lovely, and the doctors have been very genuine and passionate. Bodywell has been very educational, I find myself learning something new every week. With all the helpful knowledge and advice I have acquired I shall continue to strive to improve my health under BodyWell’s guidance :)

Thank you for your message. Before attempting to attack others, it may be worth addressing the concerns that have been publicly raised about your organisation. You speak of “a wonderful clinical team”, yet it is a matter of public record that your entire team walked out and last year and in 2025 as well.🤣 That alone should make any reasonable person question the claims you are making.

You also refer to “12,500 satisfied patients”, while more than 70 negative comments and reviews from real Canterbury residents are openly available on Facebook and other platforms. These are not anonymous accounts. These are real people describing real experiences — and their feedback paints a very different picture from the one you’re trying to present.

Additionally, you continue to present yourself as a healthcare professional, despite repeated concerns raised about misleading titles and the fact that you are not a medical doctor. That is not a matter of opinion — that is simply a matter of accuracy and professional transparency. Calling yourself something you are not is a clear breach of trust and of basic ethical standards.

Instead of attempting to shame individuals online, perhaps it would be wiser to address the long list of complaints, staff walk-outs, and unresolved issues associated with your business. Accountability works both ways.

I genuinely hope you choose honesty and improvement over deflection. Canterbury deserves better than marketing spin and personal attacks.

I've been at bodywellgroup for the last 4 weeks
what first interested me about them was first the fantastic offer they had on Facebook to have a consultation with Dr Christian and have some tests done there and then as everything is on site
which you would never get with the NHS even before I started I had sent Dr Christian my Mri scan
to see if he might take me on as the Nhs had told me there was no more treatment left for me but I refuse to give up
Dr Christian has been so knowledgeable and he explained all my tests in a way both me and my husband could understand more then the GP OR NHS has ever done even the masterclass they sent a link for was very informative with both Dr Christian and Dr pat 👏
I come to bodywellgroup a crying mess I was introduced to another client that had been there at that time about 4 weeks and they where doing fantastic but at that time you can't see that
But truly am 4 weeks in and some way to go all I can say is follow the advice given to you by the team and icepack🥶 before you have your treatment as it helps

I've now reduce my 12 hour pain medication by 50% thanks to the bodywellgroup team 😀

I have been attending Bodywell for over two years now, regularly. Dr. Christian and Dr. Pat are remarkable healers. At over 70 years now I am feeling alive and full of anticipation for the future. I have had back problems for years, thanks to scoliosis of my spine and probably due to my being overweight. I was introduced to BodyWell nearly 4 years ago and have been attending regularly since then. The weekly spinal adjustments help enormously to keep me going at 87. In addition I am given an exercise session with one of the well qualified physiotherapists (Masters degree), followed by muscle stretching and deep tissue massage. As a consequence I have relatively few aches and pains. I always come away feeling much better and more relaxed. This is all due to the excellent management and ministrations of Dr Christian and Dr Pat, who are both extremely experienced in chiropractic and all issues relating to the spine and spinal nerves. They go to great lengths to ensure that one really understands what is going on in one’s body . Education is a high priority at BodyWell as well as other aspects of health, including nutrition and mental health.

Just gotta say I absolutely owe my life to Dr Christian and the BodyWell team for their chiropractic care and personal attention. Through regular adjustments, Deep Tissue massages, tailor-made nutritional advice and physical training all combined I’m fitter and healthier than I was 30 years ago!! So BIG SHOUT OUT to Dr Christian and his Team – love you all to bits.

I was sceptical when first going as I had been to multiple back places to help what I though was a sciatic nerve problem.
After my first consultation whit DR Christian and his team I turns out my whole spine was out not supporting me properly causing me a lot of pain.
His team were great I went through multiple X-rays to get to the root cause and after just 1 adjustment and deep tissue massage I could feel a Major shift in my body giving me a lot more mobility, after 3 more I am so much more aware of my posture and am pain free and more mobile.

Thanks to you and your team they have been amazing.

Attention to detail with my own specific issues, having trimmed cows feet for 20 yrs + i have a fair bit of wear and tear which needed addressing. Feeling the benefits.

I have travelled from Australia to visit the UK and fell into trouble after a fall whilst hiking in Scotland. I contacted my Chiropractor in Australia and ask her to recommend the best chiropractor in the UK. She said "Dr. Christian at BodyWell and look no further, he'll get you sorted!" So I did and they fitted me in and after just one adjustment, I was moving like a spring chicken again. I've been back again to make sure everything was in good order before setting off on my travels BUT the most important thing I've learned is, how great it is to have a chiropractor in every corner of the world to look after me. By the way, I am 85 this year and that is the reason why I have a Chiropractor on my health team, to allow me to travel independently for as long as possible. Thanks Dr. Christian and thanks to the team at BodyWell, you've served me well!

My family got such wonderful results with treatment that I travelled all the way from Moldova to see Dr. Christian. I have been so happy with the standard of care, the attention to detail and results. I can now return home pain free and enjoying life again. I came to bodywell with a crippling neck pain and after being consulted and treated by Carl I have been given instant relief and now have full range of movement in my neck again.

Wonderful place and wonderful staff. Christian and his team are fantastic - they very quickly identified the issues and wasted no time getting to work. I was struggling after having had a medical issue and the brain fog was unbearable. A few sessions in and the improvements were remarkable. That was last summer and I'm still going and feeling the benefit.

I like that the treatments are tailored to my issues and progress as things improve. It's very helpful to have different professionals in one place, meaning I can get a deep tissue massage followed by an adjustment in addition to other offerings such as stretching, core strength, diet and supplements, etc.

I owe a big thanks to Christian and his team, Pat, Roman and Aleyna to name a few. Always met with a smile and a chat in a friendly, professional environment.
