We bought a ticket online for R36000. The money left our account, but we were informed the ticket wasnât available by the time the payment was made?! We were told the payment would be reversed that day only to be told the next day when we phoned to query why we hadnât been refunded that it could take 3-5 working days. We have paid for something Flight Centre didnât sell, after advertising it and now they canât make an immediate payment back! The customer doesnât get 3-5 days to pay! They are a company , we are the customers. Unacceptable, if not illegal?

Over the last 2 months
Over the last 2 months, Iâve sent 2 queries to get a quote for 2 trips for 4-6 people each trip, with all information outlined about the trips and what we require.
Iâve called more than 5 times, the second time, someone finally answered but then hung up on me as I mentioned when we booked to go to America, we didnât pay via humm so I was confused about the payment options - we paid through an interest free payment plan that was setup directly from Flight Centre and we were just paying the trip off direct to flight centre until 2 months before we left and I was enquiring about this but wanted to book these flights.
Three more times I tried, no answer.
I walked in to a branch and was told I have to make a booking to be helped in a branch.
I call that branch and the phone isnât answered, 4 times. I go online and try to book in to that branch but there is no way I can book in to visit a branch via the online services?
I have vouchers I need to use at flight centre. Honestly feel hopeless, canât get anywhere.

I purchased my flights online, however when I went into the Somerset Mall branch, the Flight Centre branch were quite rude, when i asked for information regarding the VISA requirements.
The call centre was also not helpful.
