Very poor customer service – completely ignored

I contacted Bosch Car Service in Aberdeen because I wanted a quote for supplying and fitting a new battery to my VW Golf GTI – a complete supply-and-fit service.

I first contacted them by email. After receiving no response, I also contacted them through WhatsApp, which they provide as another contact option.

The result? Absolutely nothing. No reply to my email and no reply on WhatsApp.

I was a genuine potential customer ready to pay for a straightforward job and simply wanted to know the price and arrange the work.

If a business provides customers with email and WhatsApp as contact methods, it should at least have the basic courtesy to respond. Even a short message saying they were too busy would have been better than simply ignoring a customer completely.

For me, customer service starts before money changes hands. If this is how a straightforward enquiry is handled, it certainly doesn't give me confidence to trust them with my car.

They've lost my business before it even started. I will take the car elsewhere.

Smethwick branch B66 2SU location.I been there for MOT and wheels alignment.thay not checked wheels alignment I paid for that is well.they put unnecessary advisories on MOT brake disc and pads wearing thin but nothing wrong with discs and pads ,new car 3 years old only done 15000 miles ,genuine brake disc & pads minimum life 30000 miles but some done easly 50000 miles.before MOT I done service from dealership and pre MOT test they said no issues.so they just showed extra efficiency like highly recommend professionals,but I’m not recommended them and unsatisfied service.

Absolute atrocious workmanship at Bosch Reading, had my clutch replaced there after a break down. The car came back with an engine oil leak, brake fluid leak, damaged driveshaft and coolant inside the engine rpm sensor which led to numerous break downs. To top it off the brake pipes had been wrongly routed which could have led to them being damaged whilst driving. I will not recommend them to anyone. Expensive as well !

They are as worthless as the good garage scheme which is also a scam (you sell their products and you get good reviews regardless how bad you are as a garage)

I complained to BOSCH GARAGE scheme about one of their recommended garages and they were not interested at all. Three months later they sent me another email asking if I was still interested in complaining about one of their garages, if so please provide details (which were actually at the bottom of the email if they had even bothered to care and look) Just another garage scam scheme which actually offers the customer nothing whatsoever. I would now personally avoid any garage that *claims* to be in any scheme whatsoever as it clearly shows they are crooks cooking the books when it comes to customer service.
