Vlad was the best driver ever! Really accommodated our team and made us feel really welcome! Would love to have him again!

Great day out for everyone. The bus was extremly comfortable and clean but the best thing was our driver Vlad. He was extremly accomidating, helpful, kind and smily. Best bus driver we have ever had and took an interest in our rugby game and felt like we had taken our best supporter. Would book again just to make sure we had Vlad as our driver.

We had a brilliant experience travelling with Bouden Coach travel. We booked two coaches from London to Manchester to attend a wedding. The service was impeccable and extremely professional. Both drivers were very helpful and very patient with us. I would very much recommend them and use them again. Thank you

We used this company for a hen do to Brighton for 12 women. Journey down was great, driver was polite all went smooth. The journey down however wasn’t.
We were originally supposed to have been picked up at 11:00am. We waited outside our hotel and around 15 minutes later still no coach. The organiser (the hen) decided to check her email to see if there was any update as we had no phone calls to inform us of any lateness to see there would be a 90 minute delay due to “mechanical issue” which was fine, cannot be helped. We made the most of our extra time in Brighton and arrived back at the hotel to be picked up at our new expected time (12:30). 1:00pm
Come about and still no sign of our driver. We contacted anyone possible, driver who dropped us down, out of hours office, email, Facebook & WhatsApp number and nothing. This wasn’t just from one person making these calls, it was our party of 12 and multiple family members whom were back at home.
Having our bride to be in tears, we decided to try and plan our own way home via Uber & train. Just as we were about to leave for the train, our coach turns up at 2:00pm. No apology just a “I need a 45 minute break”. He then explained to us that it was his day off, he had been woken up to come and collect us and also told us he doesn’t even drive coaches, he is a bus driver.
We stopped off at services for him to tell us his boss has messaged to ask what is going on as he’s woken up to 25+ missed calls. Convenient this has happened once we have been collected.
2 hours away from our destination it had appeared (from what we thought) that our driver had fallen asleep, from what I can only explain as bunny hopping down the M40, we come to a stop on the hard shoulder (5:20pm). We could all smell burning so quickly exited the vehicle, to our surprise the tyre had completely blown, it was in bits.
The driver was clueless, he didn’t know who to contact, he didn’t even deem it nessacary to exit the vehicle like the rest of us. We walked about 500 yards to safe spot to then be asked by the driver “would you like me to bring the bus closer to you all” which any normal person would know is a massive no no. He then had to ask a member of our party to send our location to his boss’ brother so he could contact a service to come and help which was supposed to be with the driver within 45 minutes, meanwhile we were all contacting friends and family to come to our rescue as members of our party had small children they had to attend to. The last remaining 4 members were collected at 6:40pm, we remained in contact with the driver who informed us that he wasn’t attended to until 7:55pm.

After contacting the company themselves and being given multiple excuses followed by “our drivers do not sit around in uniform waiting for an emergency” which is awful customer service. We received nothing, no compensation for the second leg of our journey, no apology and still to this day no contact from the owner of the company who they told us would be in contact as soon as he was back off his holiday.
Whoever was dealing with our complaint via email was rude, ignorant and simply did not want to accept the companies error.

Not the mention the bus was unclean, seats were broken, A/C was also broken & had missing seatbelts.

If you’re looking for a pleasant journey DO NOT use this company.

Coach had a broken seat and a non working seatbelt. On the return trip we were advised that there was a delay. Which we totally understandable these things happens. When the coach failed to turn up the communication was non existent!! We all started making plans to get home as this was over 3 hours after the coach was due to arrive. Even the out of hours number just rang out. We were told a person was abroad but he managed to call the driver on his rest stop.

The driver turned up and said it was his day off and got called up. The coach had no air con at all. This was the same coach that took us and was not cleaned. Stains on the window. Luxury is not the word I would use. Although we have been told it is a Mercedes!

So we went down the road the driver had to take a break again totally understandable.

Then we started getting read messages on WhatsApp and an I have just seen this reply. Very convenient.

On the way back the tyre went. The driver had no idea what to do (he sat in the mini bus everyone knows that is the most dangerous place to stay) in an emergency. He had no idea who to call and what to do. I have been assured that they will receive training. Hopefully that will take place as this was stressful for us and the driver.

So stranded again. We managed to get family members to pick us up to carry on our journey.
The company states someone should have been with the driver within 45 minutes. That did not happen. The driver had someone turn up to him about 7.55pm. So if we had not made other plans we would have been sat there for hours!!

Now i have sent an email and so has the hen. I can honestly say the response to the hen (whose weekend was ruined) is an absolute disgrace. The responses to the Hen are unprofessional and rude.

We are waiting for the owner of the company to get in contact. After the communication we have had I have very little hope that this will happen.

So if you are looking for a non commutative company to take you in an unclean, hot Mercedes mini bus and drivers that are not monitored, tired and have no idea who to call in an emergency. (If those phones are manned) then good luck. If i were you I would look elsewhere as it has totally ruined what was a great weekend.

Looking at other reviews I do not think this was a one off.

We booked Bouden Coach Hire for a Hen Do for 12 females to head down from Burton and Banbury to Brighton for the weekend. The return journey was an absolute shambles, We were originally meant to be picked up at 11am to return home as 90% of us have small children to return to, however, it hit 11:15 and still no show so our party organiser (the Hen) double checked her emails just incase after having no calls and we found an email at 9:20am stating that our original mini bus had a mechanical fault on the way down to us so they are having to send someone else down to get us with a 90 minute delay, annoying but that’s whatever, it happens. So we made the most of our extra time and returned to our pick up point for 12:30pm as that’s when they stated they would be there to pick us up. Once again no show. We waited for 30 minutes thinking maybe there’s just extra traffic but we still heard nothing more from the company, at 1pm we started calling around any number we could find, any office number, the out of hours emergency number and that went straight to voicemail. After this point we started making plans to be able to get home, we began booking taxi’s to take us to the train station and an uber to get us home. Just as we were about to leave to the station, FINALLY the mini bus showed up, at this point it was 2pm and we were told our driver needs a 45 minute break (which is understood as driving hours are a legal process) but couldn’t understand that this time could be split so we could at least get on the road home and stop at a services. Our driver told us he had to be woken up on his day off to come get us and he was actually a bus driver so he didn’t know what the process was, the AC in the mini bus wasn’t working so we were sweating in the heat too. After a 45 minute break at the services off the A road out of brighton we finally headed home, as we were 2 hours away from our final destination, at 5:20pm we were all alarmed as it felt as if our driver had fallen asleep at the wheel and we started to break sharply into the hard shoulder of the M40. We could also smell burning and immediately filed off the mini bus. As we did this we could see that the front passenger side wheel had blown out, it was a state. We then had to walk along the hard shoulder for about 500 yard to be able to get behind the barrier. From this point the driver didn’t know what to do, a member of our party had to show him how to pin his location to send to his bosses brother to arrange recovery. We then had to arrange for family members to come retrieve us from the side of the motorway as there was no update from the company on rescuing us or recovering the vehicle. The last of us were picked up an hour and a half (6:50pm) after the incident and we kept in touch with the driver to make sure they actually came out to sort him. He informed us that it was 7:55pm by the time anyone came out to fix the issue.

We took this complaint to Bouden directly and have received no compensation or even an apology for their wrong doings. It is awful to leave people in such a vulnerable situation with no updates what so ever. I would highly suggest not to book this company as they don’t care for their clients they just want your money. There are so many better companies out there that would never do this.

Bouden Coach Hire are a disgrace and will never receive my custom again.

I’m extremely disappointed, upset and disgusted at the service my daughter received for such an important occasion:- her hen party.
The driver was un-professional he wasn’t confident on the trip to Brighton, he further made us aware of his incompetence when the vechicle broke down and we were all left stranded.
The driver had no idea of how to handle the situation and left us feeling scared and vulnerable at the side of the road.
It seemed there was nothing put in place for such an eventuality and again the driver didn’t take control of the unfolding situation.
The vechicle was all women passengers as I have stated it was an extremely important occasion. All the ladies were forced to ring partners and family members to come and rescue them. This is totally unacceptable and ruined the end of the hen party. This service was definitely not fit for purpose and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else!

Honestly, this company completely ruined our time away.

Not only ridiculously late picking us up (3 hours) the driver then requested a 45 min break (legally understandable but after waiting that long wondering if we were ever getting picked up - we were quite ‘miffed’ to say the least). All through this time of waiting we had no correspondence apart from 1 email at 9.30am to tell us that there was a 90 minute delay. Once 90 minutes came and went, we rang the out of hours line which was not manned, All social medias, emailed, even called the guy who took us down and there was no response. The mini bus did not turn up until gone 2pm & then miraculously when we got picked up we ended up getting replies. Funny thing was the driver told us that his manager had been on the phone to him to tell him that he had 45+ missed calls.. so obviously was ignoring us.

The driver also had no knowledge on how to work the air con, leaving us absolutely sweltering on a very long journey home.

Furthermore, 30 minutes from our first drop (there was 2, the second drop was another 1hr 30min from our first drop) the tire blew (no one’s fault understandably), but the driver had no protocol of what happens in this situation, in fact, we even had to tell him to stand behind the barrier to stop him from getting killed on the m40! He told us that he had called his manager who was getting someone to come and fix the tyre? No recovery company, or any thought on how we were all going to get back home. We all had to get picked up by 3 different vehicles (some having to travel 1hr 30 minutes to come and rescue us), to be able to get back to our final destinations. We messaged the driver to ensure he got back safe but he was still waiting for someone 3 hours later. Which just proves the lack of organisation throughout all aspects of the company.

Time & a lot more money than we anticipated was spent during this time. The extra cost of having to wait around for 5+ hours and then finding our own way home after paying £900 for a 2 way journey is ridiculous! No compensation or apology has been made, we were told to wait for a response from the companies director which we haven’t had. We’ve given them the benefit of the doubt to sort this issue privately but as they haven’t been able too I feel people need to be aware of the sheer lack of organisation, communication, compassion & care.

I would seriously re-consider using Bouden Coach Travel for journeys - especially long haul. THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE.

I used bouden coach travel for the first time for my daughter’s wedding to collect guests and take them to the ceremony then later to the venue, the driver was punctual very polite and nothing was too much trouble all guests who traveled with them said how good the company was and asked for details so they could also book them for transport to the airport, I would thoroughly recommend bouden coach travel they were also reasonably priced 10 out of 10.

Received a quote and then no response to my E Mails regarding upgrading - I eventually decided to call to be told they now had a corporate booking and therefore could no longer accommodate. Sophie in the office promised she would see what she could do and would give me a call back - A week later I am still waiting!!!

We book transfer to Brighton beach.31.08’2022.and the coach was on time and very clean and luxurious.and the driver was so nice and respectful.five star for the driver and service.thanks

We booked a luxury private chauffeur car for a special evening celebrating our engagement and were unfortunately really disappointed by the service provided by Bouden Coach Travel.

The driver turned up 25 minutes late, blamed the postcode assigned to the job (which was correct) and was totally unapologetic. There was nothing particularly luxurious about the trip, it was much the same experience as getting a taxi.

A taxi would have cost £20-30, this trip cost £300 including VAT.

We would absolutely not recommend the private chauffeur service provided by Bouden Coach Travel in terms of customer service or value for money.
