Steer far away from these scammers!!

Steer far away from these clowns they are the worst sports company I’ve ever dealt with! I ordered a pair of Addidas boxing gloves from these guys and they contacted me back and told me they don’t have the one advertised and tried to persuade me to get another style I kindly refused and was told to wait a week an the other would be back in stock so I did, fast forward today I received my order and it’s the same gloves they tried offering me which I refused! So what they did was made me wait a week only to send me out the wrong gloves and then said they’re willing to give me a free return for the inconvenience caused! the cheek is unreal!

They wasted my time as I could have gone to Argos and got the same stuff they sent me cheaper and quicker and they ruined my nephews birthday as now I have to wait till they receive my return to get my money back a bunch of clowns running a company!

I honestly think they use this horrible technique to upsell there stock and if you experience anything similar post about it straight away as I’m shocked to see the high reviews they’ve got on here as they clearly aren’t genuine with the way these guys handle things.

Horrible company that provide horrible service if only they didn’t just sell boxing equipment and participated in boxing matches too then i could have happily chinned a few of them with my new gloves from “FightEquipmentUK” there’s plenty of better companies out there who value there customers and genuinely care for you and are not just after your money like these guys.

It doesn’t surprise us that you have placed a 1 star review and just so anyone reading this can make their own mind up, as we all know there is always two sides to a story, we are more than happy that you are no longer a customer of ours as your tone and language towards our female customer service team is truly disgusting and the fact that you have written a review which carry’s a threat of violence just sums up the kind of person you are.
Yes, we made a mistake buy sending you an updated Adidas glove in their new design which we should have advised before despatch and we apologised for this, but your email responses show a lack of respect to a fellow human being and an obvious lack of life skills in how to respond to a female who is trying to help.
We kindly ask that you never shop we us again as we do not tolerate threatening of abusive behaviour towards our staff.

Great advice, best prices, and quick delivery

Ordered twice from them already. First time by phone tp get some advice on which gloves to buy. They were brilliant, did not oversell and I am very happy with the purchase. Their prices are better than amazon and sports direct, and quality of products was pretty good. Second time ordered online to get some more gear. Both times delivery was very quick. Even the standard only took a couple of days, and the delivery company they use is reliable as well. 5 stars, could not be happier.

Not as described

I ordered a boxing gym specific tshirt on 27 March 2024, it arrived on 11 April 2024 and it was not as pictured or described on the website. I contacted Boxfit UK immediately with photographs.

I was advised that I would receive a replacement tshirt and that it would be dispatched using a next day service.

As of 2 May, I have not received the replacement nor had a reply to my email querying the status of the remake.

Amazing shopping experience

Besides being incredibly well stocked with high quality products at good prices; Boxfit UK was one of the best Customer Support experiences I've ever had online shopping. They went out of their way to make everything work for me and I'm super grateful. Will for sure shop with them again!

Writing from Canada

Writing from Canada. Was in search for a particular pair of glove. Over the course of a few weeks writing back and fourth they supplied me with all the information and helped out on making my purchase successful. Now just to find a large maroon/silver Lonsdale head guard to match my new L60 gloves.
Thanks from over the pond and will recommend BoxfitUK.

Boxfit found a way to play me again

Ken Mills is the sales manager. Ken played me after boxfit gave me a bad product they gave me a delivery date and then the nobody came. Ken said he had the shoes under his desk.

After some back and forth Ken gave me a date when someone from the post office would come to pick it up.

Nobody came
Ken wasn't in the next day so things were delayed. Eventually they decided to send me the new pair first and I gave them the bad product.

Things were settled I changed my reviews.

It's the morning and am putting some insole into the shoes and I put my hand into the shoes and feel a bump on the left shoe and there isn't a bump on the right.

Boxfit found a way to screw me over with another bad product I didn't expect it would happen.

I ripped the tag so it's not returnable am just sharing my experience so I can get one back at boxfit.

It is very disappointing that after speaking to you on the phone and via email that as a company we exchanged a faulty item in good faith and without question in 3 days of being aware of the problem and this was without collecting the faulty pair first and yes you amended your review accordingly to thank us for this but then you edit your review again to suggest that we have tampered with a pair of boots made by Adidas and then slander our company to suggest that we have "Screwed You Over" so your review is to “Get One Back at Boxfit”, which is basically a very disrespectful way to behave.

You could have easily contacted us again and we would have looked into your second complaint without any question.

There is the right way and the wrong way to deal with any complaint to any company and you have chosen a way which doesn’t shower you with any accreditation.

We wish you the best of luck.

Arrived promptly, order not quite right

Order arrived promptly. They sent the right gloves but not the colour I ordered which is a bit disappointing.

Horrendous company

Horrendous company, ordered some shorts over 17 weeks ago, still not arrived. Emails, phone calls etc all ignored! Now contacted bank to try get my money back as these bunch of clowns are simply out to scam people

Ordered a pair of gloves back in


Ordered a pair of gloves back in December, after waiting a month with no delivery or correspondence I rang boxfit to see what was going on and was told my gloves weren’t in stock and I should’ve been contacted. I was offered a £15 discount and asked to pick another pair of gloves which again they didn’t have in stock and had to order in through rival. I ended up getting a refund as I was getting bored of corresponding with boxfit. Women on the phone was very friendly but doesn’t excuse the poor service they provided.

Hi Julien,
As discussed with you at the time, we had a system error over the Christmas period when you placed your order on Boxing Day which did not come to light until you contacted us 3 weeks after it was placed.

Once we were alerted of this issue as you mentioned we offered you an upgrade with an extra discount and this upgrade was sent direct from our supplier via DPD who attempted delivery twice before the gloves were then returned back.

We left a message for you to call us and after a few days you contacted us to request a refund which was dealt with immediately and then you then asked for one of our sales team to call you regarding another order that you wanted to place and two calls were made but with no luck.

We totally hold our hands up that we messed up with your original order but if you are not in to receive your parcel or have a leave safe or deliver to a neighbour option on your DPD account, plus do not answer your messages for days, this makes our job even harder.

Lost and found an e-gift card!

I ordered a e-gift card but there was no sign of the corresponding email with the gift card number. Boxfit eventually helped me establish that the gift card email went to Spam folder to a different email address! The response to the problem was slow and there was no answer on the customer service number which was frustrating. They came good in the end. Thanks

Purchased the Boxfit custom mouth guard


Purchased the Boxfit custom mouth guard for my son. Received the kit within a few days and sent it back off to Roots dental in a pre paid envelope. In all the process took around 4 weeks from start to finish and saved me £140 , dentists charge £199 . Fits my son correctly . Thank you Boxfit 😊

Poor quality customer service

Review below edited as it was NOT for "boxfituk.com" but for "boxingfitacademy.co.uk"

I ordered boxing gloves from Boxing Fit Academy - boxingfitacademy.co.uk. I got an acknowledgement "Your Boxing Fit Academy order has been received!". The gloves were not received. There is no answer to the telephone number on the website, 01606 278063 and no response to emails sent. A total waste of time. I'm wondering if Boxing Fit Academy has gone out of business.
I'll have to raise a case with Paypal to get my money back.

It's a trustworthy company

EDIT: Right after I posted this review I've been contacted by Ken from Boxfit. He asked me for detailed description of my situation, offered to personally take care of my order and compensate for delay. Since then I've got my order after 3 days and compensation few weeks later as agreed, while still being in touch with me. That's some A+ customer service and experience I've never seen before. Clearly that was only small hiccup. I wish you guys good luck with developing your business. Thanks!

All products in my order were in stock according to the site. After one week I called and asked about state of my order, as since I paid I havent't heard anything from them. According to the lady, the producer caused the delay with delivery and my order should be shipped in 1-2 working days (even though it was supposed to be in stock). After week since this call nothing like that happened and my order is still not shipped and I don't even know what is the status.

Disappointed

My first order consisted of 3 bottles of mouth guard antiseptic, one of which leaked & emptied during delivery soaking the entire consignment. I contacted Boxfit who sent one replacement although it took a while. I ordered the same some months later & had exactly the same experience. In addition the other two bottles are cloudy. I contacted Boxfit who didn't respond but sent one replacement. I contacted them again about the cloudy bottles to be told they were safe to use & I could return them if I paid the postage. I'm not too impressed with that as I purchased the product on the basis that it was in good order & whether it is safe to use or not, there is clearly an issue. The cost of the postage plus my time & fuel to get to the post office makes returning the items pointless. It feels a bit as if Boxfit think I contaminated the bottles to pull a fast one otherwise why ask to have them sent back at my expense?
UPDATE 28th July
The Boxfit response is not factually correct. One bottle was replaced (the one that had leaked) so I actually have four & a bit bottles not six of which one & a bit are clear. As above, Boxfit wanted me to return the 2 cloudy bottles at my expense but offered to take the order back 1 hour after my review was published but as I have explained to them I am about to go away for over 3 weeks & need the clear bottle to take with me so there is insufficient time to arrange the DPD pickup requested by Boxfit

Hi Steve, we have tried our best to rectify this situation by resending you 3 new bottles that were checked before dispatching and all 3 were clear and well packaged, which you sent us an email thanking us for taking extra care in packaging them, but unfortunately the liquid inside seems to have become 'slightly misty' again and our supplier has assured us that there are no health risks with this happening.
We appreciate your concerns and we will collect all 6 bottles from you at our cost and refund your original order inc. postage so that you are not one penny out of pocket.
Hi Steve, we advised you that we would cover the cost of the returned products, we offer this for all customers if there is a problem and at no point did we think you had contaminated the bottles, that would be plain silly?
Please take the one clear bottle on your trip and when you return please contact us and we will arrange the collection of the other bottles.

Bought a pair of boxing gloves said the payment declined when infact the money has gone out of my account to the company. We have received no order confirmation or any further communication regarding this order and the fact they have taken money from my account. I have tried numerous times to call cannot ever get through to someone and emailed to no response. I want either my money back or confirmation I will be receiving the item!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in replying, only our office is not open at the weekends but we had sent you an email earlier today explaining that we have NOT received an order onto our system which is why you have not received any order confirmation from us. However we could see on our PayPal Braintree payment gateway that a transaction was attempted more than once but no payment has been taken as our payment gateway is showing that the Billing/Shipping address you entered did not match the card details held on file by your bank and was then rejected because of this.

As the payments were rejected/declined and if you have attempted to pay by a debit card, this attempted payment appears on your bank account as 'pending' but we will not be requesting these funds from your bank.

Your bank should release these 'pending' payments within a few days but we do not have any say in this time frame, it's up to your bank but may we suggest contacting your bank to release the payment quicker as we do not physically have any monies from you as they were rejected/declined.

We hope this explains the situation.
