Absolutely outstanding service, I ordered 3 pairs of shoes Sunday afternoon and came back from work yesterday to find them delivered! I didn't have to pay for delivery either and they used parcel force which I've found more reliable than other delivery companies, keep up the good work will definitely use the online service again 👍

A really ‘can’t be bothered attitude’ especially when they sent the wrong shoes in the first place.

Some of the best customer service and importantly clear communication I have ever received from a retailer.

Ordered a pair of Skechers for work on next day delivery, Royal Mail used the inaccessible property excuse, which was of course was untrue & so Brantano because of this would not issue a refund. Poor customer service considering my contract was with them not Royal Mail!

Just purchased two pairs of sketchers prices exceptional vast variety wouldn’t shop anywhere else after finding Brantano. Prompt delivery using Royal Mail you know they won’t just be thrown on the doorstep. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

What was important to me was that I got both the quality as well as the comfort from the shoes I purchased. This was definitely achieved.

Ordered a white pair of Skecher BOB trainers received cream trainers. The pictures also showed white trainers not cream. Complained to Brantano this is their reply:
We understand your concern regarding the colour difference between the item you received and how it appeared on your screen. While we do our best to display our products as accurately as possible, please note that colours can vary depending on individual screen settings, lighting conditions, and display types.
White is white cream is cream nothing to do with shading or pc lighting. So be warned you may not get what you thought you were going to get. I will not ever buy from this cowboy company again. Customer service is rubbish

What a serviced an issue which was dealt with in a short time. In this day and age the response was way above what you would expect to receive. I will definitely purchase from them again in the future

Reported a problem with a faulty boot. Sent photos and a emailed explanation on Brantano site. Within 24 hours refund issued, no quibbles. A rarity today to receive such good customer service.

Ordered three items, two pairs of boots, one pair of sandals. There really needs to be far better help regarding measurements when buying online - actual foot measurements and internal shoe measurements etc (like they offer on TEMU)...
One of the pair of boots, in my usual size 6 (Fleet & Foster Morocco Twin Zip Ankle Boot Navy), were loose all around the foot and the ankle, even with a thick shearing sole added and thick socks, and I tried a special arch support sole too, I could get two fingers behind my heel - surely they have been labelled wrongly (note they were made in India), they would fit a size 7 easily. So, I contacted CS, this is the reply I got when I asked about returning them: "Thank you for contacting us at Brantano and thank you for your patience! Sizing can vary in different styles and brands . We don't do free returns sorry." So, they sell wrongly sized boots but I have to pay to return them. Wow, they care about their products and their customers. NOT. The other two products I bought are okay, not great, just average, really does put me off buying online. Lesson learned, stick to high street shops for footwear...

I ordered some Josef Siebel shoes that were uncomfortable due to my ankles chaffing. Brantano were brilliant in reimbursing me and didn’t charge me for their postage costs to me which I would have thought fair as they were now out of pocket. I then decided I would buy my next pair from them (Cotswold shoes) which I have just done and I am very pleased with my purchase. It feels like they really care about the past negative reviews.

Paid extra for next day delivery as I had ordered well before 5 pm on Sunday should of received Monday and never received till late Tuesday poor service

Arrived on time. Product good

I purchased a pair of muck boots in November. Unfortunately they started to come apart. I contacted Brantano with photographs and without further question they are giving a full refund. Cannot fault their customer service.

I ordered shoes on the 1st December 2025.
10 minutes later I tried to cancel the order as I ordered the wrong size, but nobody answered the phone. I sent an Email to cancel the order. I called again the following morning and was told I couldn't cancel the order as the shoes were being prepared for despatch.
The Royal Mail tried to deliver to me, but I was out. I instructed the Royal Mail to keep them in the local Post Office for me to collect.
2 Days later the Royal Mail delivered the shoes to somebody else and Emailed me proof of delivery.
I sent the proof of delivery to Brantano and told them that I want my money back.
Brantano said that the Royal Mail delivered the shoes in the "correct vicinity" and that I need to check with all of the houses on my street. There are over 100 houses on my street!
Brantano said they need to investigate further with the Royal Mail and refused to issue me with a refund.
Brantano have proof from the Royal Mail that they delivered to the wrong house and I haven't a clue where. So Brantano have my money and I have nothing in return.
Brantano are behaving as though I have the goods, when blatantly I do not! They are thieves, scammers, not to be trusted.

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BRANTANO EVER AGAIN.

They are a disgrace and I am now considering either reporting this to the police or taking legal action against them.

I am utterly appalled.

UPDATE 13TH JANUARY 2026

I have just found that Brantano is owned by Gardiner Bros & Co (leathers) Ltd, company registration number 00534801. Their address is Unit 4 Indurent Park, Haresfield, Stonehouse, England, GL10 3EZ.

I will be reporting them to the Police and I will be issuing a court claim against them. If they fail to pay, I will then instruct High Court bailiffs to enter their property to obtain payment or goods to the value of the full debt, which will include legal costs and interest.
