Becky was a pleasure to work with. Before Becky drafted my CV, we had a phone consultation for about 1-1.5 hours, to update her on what I’ve done since the last draft of my CV. From our call, I felt that Becky was a very pleasant person to deal with and this consultation was enjoyable (Becky grew up in Cambridge and I had studied there, so we had a common ground). I could tell that she was in no rush to get off the phone and had a genuine interest in what I had to say. The last company I used to draft my CV didn’t do a consultation and actually mistakenly sent on a CV with another candidate’s education and history, which lead me to believe they were doing a copy and paste job. That’s why I reached out to a new company this time around. I was impressed by the amount of time and level of detail she put into this. As I was impressed with the CV, I also asked Becky to review a personal statement. I could tell that Becky had picked up and noted a lot from our call, because the personal statement reflected this. Becky was able to ask the right questions to draw out relevant things that should be mentioned in my CV and personal statement which I would never have thought about myself (such as a CV gap when I was travelling or adding more detail on my childhood/ background). I was very pleased with how my final personal statement had come together, with thanks to Becky. The CV was drafted for a LLM application and I’ve already received an invite to interview, a week later. Becky also kept to her word in terms of timing etc and was very flexible in regards to when I needed it completed.

Brendan walked the journey with me from being at my previous employer for a very long time with multiple roles that grew organically, to developing my CV from scratch without me having to provide the content upfront. He took the time and patience to understand what I had done, achieved and weaved it into a really excellent representation in my CV and Cover letter specially for the UK market. He was always available to guide and assist. Can highly recommend.

Having no real idea how to form or basically write a CV, I came across Brendan through a third party. Three weeks later, I have a start date for my new job, and in an area of my industry I thought I would never get a chance in.

Brendan doesn’t just take basic details and reformat them. He actually goes away and in detail, looks and learns what you do. He’s not an expert on every single occupation, (how could he be?) but he makes himself understand what you do, reads about jobs you want and layers the CV to suit.

My biggest problem was that I have a single employer background, but Brendan took this and elaborated on it, basically taking my history and making it sing on a piece of paper. My new employer picked up on this point. It was a defining factor in being offered the position as they really wanted someone loyal who they could invest in.

A great CV and cover letter are gold dust for getting the job you want, and there’s no one better at helping you, and without doubt it is the single best investment I have made in my career.

I can't recommend Brendan and Diamond CV enough. We met on LinkedIN and from that point forward, Brendan has been my CV writer, interview technique coach and friend.
