Easy to choose colour charts, helpful staff available

Brewers in Hove/Portslade is run like the traditional DIY stores with knowledgeable and helpful staff.

HOVE BRANCH -MARK -We went to the Hove branch on Saturday. The store was fairly busy and we were looking for some advice on what products we should get. We asked Mark for advice and he took the time to explain each item we would need and also explained how to achieve the best results. We picked up an incorrect item and he explained why that wasn’t the best product for the job and showed us an alternative product and explained why that was better. Mark was extremely helpful and took the time to explain everything. Highly recommend this shop.

Ordered on line, ready and waiting on arrival at your Hove store.

Mark was beyond helpful when I visited today. He offered me lots of advice and went above and beyond to make sure I understood the different options and prices. I didn't feel rushed or that I was being upselled to, either. He also helped carry four large paint tins out to my car, without having to be asked. A really positive experience.

Staff very helpful

I placed an order with brewers in Hove and because of an accident on the roads I was not sure of getting to the branch before it closed. I rang the branch and they said no problem I went through their security check and they set up a security box to have my order left for me to collect once arrived at the store. I arrived as they were locking up the store and the staff stopped to show me how to use the security box it was a terrific service and would recommend any one to to use this company in the future.

I had an exceptional experience at Brewers at Portland Toad in Hove, thanks to John’s outstanding customer service. From the moment I walked in, John was attentive and welcoming, making sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. His knowledge about the menu and drinks was impressive, and he offered great recommendations that truly enhanced my visit. John’s friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond made my time at the establishment incredibly enjoyable. Easy online ordering service with helpful in store staff.

Good price for the product but didn’t get a text for the collection which was promised. There was a phone message however.

It’s a great specialist shop… it would be even better if there was a separate click & collect counter.

The current system is time consuming at busy times because you have to wait in line behind everyone ordering four candles, fork handles, etc.

Fabulously friendly staff at the hove store. Also very helpful too. I needed a certain paint and the gentleman who served me got me exactly what I needed for the project. I must also comment that he didn't try to sell me the most expensive he gave me choices depending on my budget. Great customer service
