Easy to order and collected items at Peckham store at my leisure.

Helpful staff at Peckham store and also extremely helpful staff at the Lewisham branch on the phone (got him twice on two occasions) - I think it was the driver.

Absolutely terrible time service on my delivery which I had to cancel because I waited so long for it and the branch manager said it would be here a certain day yet it was not actually made formal complaint nothing was done about that either and all because an item was a hour drive away yet took 3-4 day before I cancelled and when I asked to begin with I was told certain items where at this store and when I went back on day 3 Peckham manager told me 'oh no they actually don't have none of my order on stock' wow really Brewers

I am satisfied with the vendor and range of products. Wait times could be improved for some of the order in products, counter service could be snappier too.
With regards to ordered products, it would be good to send an update text if there is more than a three day wait, it's reassuring. I thought something had gone wrong with my order because of the wait time.

comms could be improved ie will text when product in stock but very competitive price & delivered day after ordered at no extra cost

I needed to purchase a methylated spirit and as on the website it indicated that it was available at the peckham branch, I decided to drop by. Found what I wanted and went to pay for the item. Customer rep was dealing with another person, so I waited on the line. After customer rep dealt with the customer before, I politely asked her whether I could pay for the item, to which she " I am with a customer " ( very rudely sarcastically) . Even though the customer before me, there asked the customer rep to as he put it" you can serve this gent while I decides". I found customer rep to be very rude. There are ways you can explain to a customer that you are not finished dealing with a customer and that is not it. This was the 1st time I have visited this branch. If that was the attitude I will be receiving, will be last. I'll be sure to pass on the experience I have received at this branch. Far from me to say, maybe some of the staff need bit of customer service training.

This is my local branch and they are always friendly and helpful. They stock a very good selection of paint brands. If they don’t what you need in store it can ordered in and usually arrives the next day.

excellent service, a lot of paint and accessories. the delivery is very fast and good. We need to improve prices, there are some that are very high comparing them to other stores

We needed advice how best to protect our new log cabin floor. Aaron in the Peckham store was not only very knowledgeable about suitable products and gave us great advice, but he was also professional and friendly throughout. Would certainly go there again.

Asked for 12.5 litres of little green rolling fog pale 158 paint. The assistant got me 12.5 litres of little green rolling fog 143. On pointing this out to him he assured me that he had got rolling fog pale and that I was wrong. The sales assistant was wrong.

Sales staff very apologetic the next day and exchanged the paint for the correct colour

My order was ready earlier than I expected, staff were really helpful when I realised I'd made a mistake, it was no problem for them. Highly recommended

After placing an online order for items available within 5-7 days... 3 days later, i received a very confusing call explaining that the goods would now be at least 10-14 days. I weighed up the options and how this could work with the site schedule and agreed to continue with my order but reiterated or asked for re-confirmation that it would be available for collection no more than 14 days... the response was somewhat even more dazzling, to say that the goods would in fact be manufactured within 14 days but then had to be shipped to the supplier... then shipped onto Brewers and perhaps finally onto the customers!!! so would i still be o.k. to wait a little while??? what do you think my answer was?

I managed to order 3 tins the same day from Buildbase, which were delivered by the manufacture within 2 days.
