I purchased my car in 2021. I have survived thru the covid pandemic with no financial gain, just the low paying job I had at the time. But, since I have had my car. It had been repo over three times. The machanic car maintenance team is not good. You will sent to shade trees that will turn your engine light on, then take a $100 cash with no receipt. Drive your car as their own. But, the biggest problem is theft within the company when it comes to getting your car payments. They are stealing your money for themselves, just by being the one to take the payments. I don’t trust this company, and the way they take your money for a long term loan, just to try and take your car when they feels as though you near the end of final payments. I guess, so they can get it back, and allow someone else to be highly victimized as a buyer.🤦🏾‍♀️My head hurts from this lying, thief company

I would rate zero stars. Please, I hope you read this before getting a loan through them. This company needs to be put out of business. I've had a loan with them for 2 years now, I still owe exactly what I paid for the vehicle. Every time I call them they have some BS. I wish I would have went on and read the reviews prior, I would have no way in hell went through this company. Please take our advice and stay far clear of this crooked place. You will thank us, and if you don't you will regret it.

It would be much much lower if possible this company is a scam that takes advantage of people and their financial situations they wanted to charge $40,000 for a 2017 Kia that I have already paid $34,000 on outrageously not sure how this is even legal.

They call and bug you to death I'm talking about the first day that your loan is due.I would not recommend these people

DONT use this company. Insanely high interest rates, and once you pay off your car they make it impossible for you to get the title.

I am currently dealing with Bridgecrest regarding a vehicle repossession, and the lack of transparency and communication has been extremely concerning.

My first payment was less than three weeks late and was later brought current. The delay occurred because the vehicle was unusable due to a serious mechanical issue covered under warranty, which left me without the car for weeks and required me to pay for a rental. Bridgecrest was notified of the situation.

When purchasing the vehicle, I was told by the dealership that it had never been in an accident. However, when the vehicle was inspected by a mechanic due to the mechanical failure, I was advised that there were clear signs of prior accident damage, including aftermarket parts, visible welding, and rust in the engine compartment — issues that should have been apparent during inspection.

Despite the payment being cured and the vehicle being under active warranty repair, the vehicle was repossessed. Since then, I have repeatedly requested a written reinstatement or redemption amount and clarification of my options, but Bridgecrest has not provided clear information in writing and has gone silent for extended periods.

While a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is pending, I received electronic notice that my access to the vehicle was revoked and that the vehicle was moved from its storage location, without any clear notice of sale or disposition being provided.

This situation has left me without transportation despite my efforts to resolve the matter in good faith. I strongly encourage anyone considering financing to carefully review how disputes, repossessions, and vehicles with mechanical or prior damage issues are handled.

I had a vehicle total loss after just 2 months of owning car. The insurance paid all but $3000. When I tried to make a deal they wouldn’t hear of it and at that point I had already gotten a new loan through them. I continued to make both payments and finally paid off the totaled car. Recently contacted them to skip one payment bc I had a problem with mold in my house and had to repair that. They said my account couldn’t skip one payment but couldn’t tell me a specific reason. After one loan being paid off within 8 months, I would think they could work with me. But nope. I would not recommend anyone to deal with them. They won’t even try to work with you and cannot give you specific reasons. Worst customer service I’ve ever received..

This is the absolute worst company. I literally feel like this is a 3rd world company. I was told by multiple reps on recorded lines that my account was paid in full . Ive emailed bank statements all to no avail. Do yourself a favor stay away from Bridgecrest.

I paid about 24,000 into my car, including my 5,000 dollar down payment. At the end of about 1.5 years my principle balance was still at 32,500. I realize the interest/apr on their loans are horrible, but they ripped me off. I was a day late of paying a 600 dollar fee to get my car off the tow list, they would not accept my payment and wrote the loan off. This company has received close to $25,000 from me, towed my car and sold it at auction for about $4,000 less then its worth; and now are trying to stick me with a bill for another $14,000. These people are dirtbags.

Bridgecrest is a predatory lender that finances cars for six years plus at around 15% interest or higher. Don’t do it. By the time you finish paying off the vehicle, you’ll be ready for another one.

I do not like dealing with Bridgecrest Bridgecrest is I feel the lowest financial institution for car loans first of all you make a payment then you have to wait five like 10 days for it to be set into the account to be approved and then when you do make extra payments to put towards the principle, you have to wait for that money to sit in the account and then ask them permission to apply it to the principal and that will take an additional 2 to 5 business days it’s like wow it’s a 2 to 5 business days. They’re still adding interest on your account every day you are waiting,when we’re trying to pay down the loan in a certain amount of time and it’s like a waiting game I don’t like the waiting game. I want to be able to make a regular payment and make a principle payment and it all will apply the exact same timeframe that I applied it instead of waiting all these days and then I got a call back and then ask them to apply it. Why I gotta do that. No other financial institution does that if we want to put extra money on our loan all we do is let them know. Hey, I want to put this on my principal and apply it. They will apply it exactly that and they will give you the balance exactly that afterwards Bridgecrest irritates me. I’m trying to hurry up and pay off my cards. Usually, this is the very first time that I use Bridgecrest for so long usually within the first six months I am through with Bridgecrest, but for the simple fact that I got teenagers and I had to purchase them vehicles and I decided to purchase through a particular car dealership they only deal with Bridgecrest, which is irritating the next time I purchased me a vehicle it is definitely going to be through my bank

Bridgecrest BY FAR.... HORRIBLE !! But thats just my two cents. Save yourselves from the headache, go Ally Financial Inc, Carvana or Capitol One for your Auto Loans AVOID BRIDGECREST. In fact go to the Credit Union, establish yourself a line of credit...but AVOID Bridgecrest and their rude customers service agents.

Well I borrowed about 20K with a 24 month payment schedule and have two payments left. I have had no issues with them, even called them today about getting another car with them and compare to other lenders. But they were fine. I am satisfied 100%

DriveTime was fantastic, but Bridgecrest is one of the worst finance companies I've ever worked with. Making a payment over the phone is always with some double-digit IQ person in India who can barely string two sentences of English together.

I called to make an extra payment to the principal and asked to be transferred to someone in the States, and was hung up on twice. I did, however, get a callback from a low-minded person who used several antiwhite and homophobic remarks to me personally over the phone. Verizon mentioned, they blocked several text messages that they said contained, "violent and homophobic content," all of the texts traced back to Bridgecrest.

I'm going to get a lawyer to handle the payoff of my car and never go through Bridgecrest again.

Why am I paying 29 per cent interest on a 20,000 car that the credit union will not finance or the bank because they said it is only worth 12,000 dollars I heard the interest rate in Maryland is only 27 per cent I pay about 500 dollars a month since aug and only paid about 670.00 in principle and I paid more than that extra on the principal

Total scammers. You try and pay and they say that it’s posted then days later say that the bank denied it. Total lies. They double charge and have fees for everything.totally unprofessional and rude.

Had to change account for automatic payments. Shows changed in app but 3 days after the payment date got the big ole red flag for non payment. Asks for one time payment from same account the auto payment was set for and went through plus a nice $15 extra late charge and a nice late payment tagged to my credit record. Do like I do and just refinance the whole thing to a reputable payment company and be done with the whole thing.

If I could leave 0 i would. I have rarely left complaints online, I usually attempt to highlight the good in a process, however, Bridgecrest is the absolutely worst- I relocated across country and have been trying to receive my new registration and tags to no avail and with no assistance from them. I have supplied and paid for all required documentation . I have spent over 6 lunch hours on the phone without resolve and the outcome has not changed. Avoid them at all cost - I am still waiting for a resolution only to be told it may take 8-10 weeks to resolve!!!

Bridgecrest took out double the amount for the payoff quote.I paid what I owed they claim is the banks fault. Bank stated that they did take outthe car payofftwice and received the money. I provided a bank statement that said they received the money and now claims they have only received the one payment and got transferred back and forth 5 times without a resolution to the problem. I am out of the money and paid for a expensive used car that is only worth the first pay off quote. I will never deal with Bridgecrest again. I am seeking legal action if this is not taken care of .this is the worst company in customer service and was not happy the way I was treated and lied to. Nobody there does not know what they are doing and can't speak English very well.

If I could give negative stars I would. They have a payment system that is completely deceptive and attempt to take two payments in the same month thus charging me a $15 dollar fee when the second one gets returned. I will be reporting them to the AG who handles this.
