I’ve had treatments here twice and I’ve been happy with the outcome. On my recent trip, I had a lady called Bunmi. She took time to explain the various treatments and helped me choose the suitable one for me. I left feeling very relaxed and refreshed.

Horrible customer service from the manager ! after not informing us on a spa day that you only get 3 half hours even though they knew we had to have lunch by 2pm and they only had a massage space at 6pm ( and they wanted more money to have a facial which was very poor and cut short on time) we got a parking ticket ! To say they were spiteful is an understatement after getting me to give them the ticket saying they would sort it and then coming back the next day saying you will have to sort it ( which of course with parking eye is hopeless) my daughter took me there for a spa break as I have had some ill health and you can’t imagine how stressful this all is. I have never known a hotel behave in such a submissive unkind way. We will never set foot in there again.
We had a event planned so we all stayed the night before, due to a major accident on the M1 I didnt get to check in until 1.30ish AM, the night staff were very friendly they helped me check on and I also asked for a late check out which they said I can call down in the morning as I was very tired and also had a baby with me.
However in the morning the receptionist refused to let me extend my check out, she was very rude and her attitude was a joke. I explained the situation that I was told I could do a late check out and can also pay for this. She ruined my event, ans my entire experience in the hotel. I had to find another hotel to go get ready in.

This hotel in my view is not suitable for coach parties using as a base, it is in the middle of nowhere, no entertainment, not even for a walk in the evening? The evening meals were inedible, (was informed that there were a lot of complaints about the food prior to stay). I had a foreign body in my soup! Although the room for once was a good size, had to ask for an extension lead to enable me to use the hairdryer as no socket near enough, no chair for vanity unit.
One positive review the staff were lovely and helpful.

Oh my god, if I could sum up in one sentence of advice, it would be “don’t waste your money on the Spa”. Staff were unwelcoming, more interested in gossiping with colleagues and playing on mobile phones rather than providing a reception and/or any customer service. That was just the start! We had paid £179 + £20 (supplement for a weekend) for a Spa package. Just to clarify, I would not class this place as a Spa by any means. Whole hotel and Spa is worn, abused decor, extremely tired, dirty carpets, battered entrance/exit doors and frames. In the Spa there were chipped floor tiles, mould scum around the edge of the pool (if you can call it a pool as can barely swing a cat let alone do a swimming length). Changing rooms dirty/unkept, lockers all broken and battered. Sauna and steam room is only fit for 2/3 people at anyone time. There were only 6 sun “chill” loungers around by the edge of the pool, which isn’t enough when you have treatment bookings back to back. Treatment rooms were also really tired. We booked a couple’s treatment session but were separated into separate rooms. Furniture in these rooms looked old and wall cupboards had been painted so many times they were jammed shut. The sinks were mouldy and discoloured with age. The whole place is really disappointing and this was my first visit (and the last). Not worth £20 a couple let alone just under £200 couple price we paid. Inclusive lunch was also poor, they allowed you to choose from a small “package” menu which consisted of a small sandwich with one of the cheap menu fillings, then had to pay if you wanted any drink or any chips, which normally would come inclusive with these types of packages. Extremely disappointing experience. Save your money and hunt down a “proper” spa!
We had a great night on the 19th Oct Jersey Boys tribute. The staff in the evening, breakfast and lunch time bar staff were fantastic very polite, also so were the receptionist young ladies Ellie and Demi and were very helpful, the Spa receptionist was great too! The food was excellent in the evening and breakfast. The rooms need to have a plug point next to the bed each side. Overall a great nights stay. Our room was very clean she was called Jackie. Thank you we will be back.
We arrived on sunday 13th october on a coach trip. We arrived to free tea and coffee. Staff were very attentive and polite. A lady called Demi, was there to greet us and made sure we arrived to our rooms and were happy and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond. Thankyou all for a lovely stay and wonderfull food. Evening meal was served promptly and professionally. Again, all polite and helpful. Nice,clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.
Service really really poor. When you charge such a lot for drinks that's awful. We cancelled after an hours wait. It was only a Wednesday.
I wish we had zero stars here... I was disappointed with a recent dining experience at Bridge Wood Restaurant - Chatham.
I visited the restaurant with three other guests for dinner, and unfortunately, it was the worst dining experience we have had. None of us enjoyed the food, from the starters to the dessert. The quality and taste of the dishes were subpar, and it left a lot to be desired. I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment, as our experience was far from satisfactory, a burger at Mc Donald or kebab would do better.
from start to finish I found the bridge wood hotel to be excellent their events co_ordinater camilla was so so helpful in organising the events room for my daughters hen party making sure the room she gave us would accommodate all what we had planned for the day/evening .
Billy was in charge on the day and so helpful in helping us to set up a slide show we had done making sure the picture was clear and sound perfect .
I cannot fault this hotel as anything requested by us for this event was never any problem for them and the day/evening went perfect my daughter was over the moon with it all and that was what it was all about .

What could go wrong, went wrong during my stay at the Bridge Manor Hotel.
Whole ingredients and side dishes missing in meals, booked a spa session for an hour and half and only received and hours treatment, really poor customer service overall.
A lot of young staff, with no senior management to guide them and show them what good customer service looks like.

I would stay away from this establishment! their policy of not refunding after cancellation and after providing proof of covid test shows that they dont care about their customers and their focus is on money.
As an organisation that doesn’t want to encourage people with covid coming to your establishment the minimum you could do is encourage people with legitimate result to cancel. This policy encourages people to come with the fear of losing their deposit.. I will be getting in touch with my credit card company and looking to make a claim under section 75
