There was an issue with tiles fitted some years ago, but the company responded helpfully and pleasantly. Chris Morris came over to sort out the problem; he did a great job It was a pleasure to have his good-humoured professionalism.

I would like to thank Chris Morris for doing a fantastic job in replacing our faded ridge tiles and completing a new top to the roof which looks so professional,he was so friendly and informative a real craftsman that knew his

I needed slate-type roofing tiles for a small garden office project. Having trawled the internet (and following recommendation from a neighbour who is a commercial roofer) I found that Britmet liteslate is a revolution in composite lightweight roofing, and just the job! Bought 198 tiles for 5m2 and easy to fit. Also you can simply saw cut endings to double up. They may look and feel like expensive car mud-flaps!.. BUT.. my own experience is that they are great, good, sustainable, value for money, easy to transport and use. Britmet roofing is the future! Cheers.

Britmet is a great, value for money and easy to use product even if you have no roofing background, as there is help and instructions available.
I have found the customer service to be very helpful and knowledgeable, helping right through from estimating to aftersales.

A great product and a very helpfull sales team.

Recently had an installation/open day with the guys from Britmet. Despite the long journey faced by both gents, they arrived bright and early. Found them to be very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable. It was a quality over quantity customer meet. Each customer spending 30-40mins discussing their needs and what Britmet can offer. Refreshments were provided by Britmet. At the end of the day, everyone both suppliers, staff, and customers rejoiced in the great success of the engagement. Indeed the Britmet guys commented wholeheartedly that it was the best day they'd ever had, and planned to use the visit as a template for future days. My thanks are unanimously given to Britmet, both the guys on site and the back up from their office.

As a roofing distributor in the Beds, Cambs and Herts areas is it great to be partnered with Britmet. Their product range complements our product portfolio. Lots of options for low pitch roofs, of which can sometimes be problematic in finding the correct solution. Product availability is always as advised and any issues are notified well in advance. The service team are always helpful and very responsive. Keep up the good work.

We started using BritMet paint for our exterior render painting last summer. The sales manager PB introduced us to it and we haven’t looked back. Great people to deal with by email or phone.
More importantly great products and extremely competitive on pricing

I wouldn't normally write a review like this, but I feel I should tell my story.

We used the Britmet slates on our roof and the product is great, the issue came when we required some bespoke ridge slates creating. Britmet informed us they could do this for us and we went through the process.

We had to go through Travis Perkins to purchase the product, as Britmet only deal with the trade and not the general product, which wasn't a problem at all.

When the product arrived, the angle wasn't the correct angle as discussed and the product was unusable.

This is the point I found out their customer service is terrible, having waited a few weeks for a response to my email and a few phone calls, with no luck in speaking to the right person. I've given up trying to resolve the issue and decided to take the £250 loss (a big lesson learnt).

After phoning Britmet sales with a question about some technical issues I was asked to send in some photos via email. Within an hour I was phoned back by one of their tech staff Chris, who was polite, very knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in the project. After discussing the photos in detail he offered advice on the best way forward.

Had great five star service from the guys at Britmet. In particular Mali Minchin.. really professional service and I was extremely pleased at the effort put in to find the actual paint I was after and getting it delivered to me. Many thanks.
