We have been clients of BTMK Solicitors for 12 years and it has always been absolute pleasure dealing with Yolanda and her team with our conveyancing matter.  We have just completed on purchase of two properties, one with a complex leasehold issue. Going into buying a house is terrifying. They say solicitors are the worst to deal with. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing BTMK made things so easy and simple and put my expectations of how solicitors were out the window! I was passed around a bit at the beginning and was finally passed to Zoe. Zoe Edward’s emailed me all the updates I needed when I needed them. She was clear and precise and helped me understand legal terms and what and when I needed to do things. Zoe is an absolute credit to this company if I ever have any legal work needed in the future I’m coming straight to talk to Zoe! We recently used BTMK Marcus Baum in Southend and had the absolute pleasure of working with Yolanda and Zoe. Both ladies are incredibly friendly, approachable and responsive, but we dealt mostly with Zoe and she was truly outstanding. She made what can often be a very stressful process of selling and purchasing a house feel so much easier and more manageable. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, she worked extremely efficiently, kept everything moving smoothly and always kept us updated without us ever needing to chase. Her support, professionalism and constant reassurance made a huge difference, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

These guys are the best, if you are buying a house. Shoutout to Keighly.S and Simran.R, we started the process with Keighly and Simran took over. Both of them were amazing at their jobs, very professional and for first time buyers like us they guided us every step of the way. I will definitely go back to BTMK if l need help in the future. We also worked with Christine, she was good as well.

Before commiting to their services the communication was amazing. After paying initial sign up things went cold for 3 weeks (having been told it would be done within around 5 weeks) I had presumed they were working in background when in fact nothing was being done. It then took me constantly chasing them to get things actioned. Finally got things completed and quote increased and of course I had no choice but to pay the additional amount. If you have the time to keep chasing or not in any hurry would recommend if not I wouldn't

Beware of getting involved in a chain where this firm are involved - check who your buyers have instructed and avoid any connection with these.
Delay of over 2 weeks at point of exchange - refusal to update anyone else in the chain, blocking and poor communication once challenged! Clearly don’t think they need to adhere to Law Society protocols or anything close to good practices within a chain .

Fantasic service, the conveyencing team were professional, knoweldgeable and attentive. There were complications on the sellers side during our house purchase and the BTMK team kept us fully abrest of the situation and did everything they could to keep the process moving in a timely fashion. Highly recommended!
