I cannot thank Angela and Audrey from Glasgow conveyancing enough for all of their support throughout what turned out to be a long and complex process. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and consistently went above and beyond to keep everything moving and to ensure I was kept fully informed at every stage.

Their attention to detail and calm, proactive approach made a real difference and gave me complete confidence that everything was being handled properly, even when challenges arose.

It’s rare to find such a high level of service combined with genuine care and commitment, and I’m extremely grateful for everything they did.

I Have used Aaron Kane on a few occasions now for civil matters. I felt looked after throughout and didn't feel overcharged atall.
Aaron is an ex first division footballer who after his career ended got himself a first class law degree and a job with arguably Glasgows top law firm. He is extremely well thought of within the civil arena in Glasgow and by his colleagues and has a number of well known blue chip clients. I would throughly recommend him. Hes really tough.

I acted as executor of my sister's Will in conjunction with the BTO team - Gregor Mitchell, Tom Miller and Audrey Blair. I found the team good to work with and helped me to negotiate some sticky obstacles on the way. Matters were concluded fairly swiftly with the team's help despite the obstacles.

I have recently had my will re-drafted and also created a power of attorney and medical directive. I was very clearly advised by the duo of Gregor Page and Julie McMahon who were very helpful with advice over aspects which I had not considered. I was very pleased with the service, and despite the fee being a little more than I had expected, it was still excellent value for money. I feel there charges for my mother's estate were shocking probate and searches. No emails or correspondence by email or letter to my self or other family members. There only sent this to power of attorney,s leaving othere members in the dark regarding the estate. In the process of making official complaints to there head office. If you want a complete breakdown this will cost a considerable amount more this wasn't mentioned. Do not take your call,s unless there charge hundreds of pounds on top of there already very high fees. Avoid this company in my opinion. Terrible

The people here are very slow to respond. I can understand that somethings might take a while but if you have to wait weeks for a simple email there is something wrong.

Without open communication it's hard not to feel left out in important matters. BTO has not made me feel like they care about my case sadly enough

Recently engaged the services of Euan to assist my parents with updating their will but also safeguarding for eventualities by having me nominated as power of attorny if required. Euan visited at home, and took the time to explain the whole process in such a way that my folks now in their 70s could understand. He promised to create the documents and return for signature. He kept me updated with arrival time so that i and my sister could be there. I really cant fault the
speed of service or the professional approach taken.

A special Lawyer Euan Fleming has been supporting our family over many years. He has gone above and beyond to ensure things are done efficiently, and with great compassion. He is very knowledgeable and many of the issues he has fought on behalf of our son, have made a practical real difference in his life. We are now dealing with a very difficult bereavement of our son, and he is guiding us through all the official hoops rules and regulations of legal change with great kindness. We are continually grateful to him. We continue to put our trust in him knowing his skills and knowledge will help us and guide us through this challenging time of legal change.

I’ve been dealing with E. Flemming an estate, and unfortunately, my experience has been incredibly disappointing. Communication has been sparse and inconsistent.

A solicitor’s role is to act with honesty and integrity, keeping clients informed throughout the process. Euan has not upheld these standards, and I feel we’ve been misled repeatedly. For anyone considering their services, I would advise caution based on my experience.

I required my will to be updated and I expected that I would provide the desired changes, approximately 5 minutes, I thought.
The solicitors, new to me, were exceedingly helpful and provided advice that I was unaware of. Without the advice and information my will would have had potential problems for the future.
I have full confidence that the solicitors will always ensure that my interests are future proofed.
All of the details were dealt with in a timely manner.

I have used BTO several times previously and have always found them to be professional and friendly.
Recently needed wills etc done, Gregor and Amy did these in less than a week for as we were leaving the country.
Superb service.

Two and a half years to settle my late mums simple estate and also received someone else’s details and information in correspondence from them. Unprofessional and no compassion

Well...I phoned and explained my situation to the call answerer. She seemed perplexed! I speak perfect English. I was told to phone back after lunch. I did. The call answerer put me through the same routine again. This time she asked " who was I being transferred to speak to when I phoned during lunch hour" I said..." no idea, as I was simply told to phone back"
I was told " Ewen Fleming" would contact me. You have guessed. Never heard!!

I called requesting help with a divorce. Gave required details, told they'd be in touch...didn't happen and my case is urgent.

After getting put through to two different areas, to ask if they'd take me on, I received a downright rude reception.

Told its a big company, who did you speak to....I called the same office! She said it was lunch time and I couldn't get help but she'd have called- did she not tell me on the day?

Basically the secretary wasted my time till it was home time with no intention of returning information after me being practically subservient to her, thanking her for her patience.

Absolutely indifferent to needs of decent woman, wasted my home and hung up so abruptly. I dont write reviews normally but this was warranted.

Another from the company asked"are ye sure this is who ye want ye have the city centre?"

I speak strong lowland Scots but I'm conscious when addressing someone on the phone....

Just rude...

BTO were advising my husband over redundancy. He died suddenly in January 22. The first written communication we received was this September, threatening legal action over unpaid bill. Apparently, they had been e mailing him requesting payment without someone actually thinking of sending a written request, when no reply over the previous 7 months was forthcoming. Not the sort of threatening letter anyone who has lost a partner really wants to receive out of the blue, to be honest. Chris Logan was apologetic and very pleasant, as was the dark haired assistant in the Cash dept. However, the blonde assistant in the same office was rude and argumentative and actually had the temerity to reiterate that they had e mailed and didn't know my husband had died- yes, that's the whole point of why I'm upset, dear. Wee bit of staff training required and a look at procedures, too. Can't comment on quality of advice my husband received, as he passed away 3 days after final redundancy notice and we didn't have the chance to discuss.

Online defamation case - asked for advice, got clear and helpful information within hours, no charge. I liked that I was informed right away about where cost issues may be. I am really impressed, even if this was only a first contact.

Facing 10 penalty points on a road transport offence this firm was assigned and paid for by my employers insurance company result case dismissed prior to trial. Amy Anderson top lawyer experienced efficient you want her in your corner any day of the week don't know the cost as this was covered by insurance but what price would you put on your licence. Grateful for a job well done .Not surprised large insurance company's use this firm.

Used them for finalising an estate and conveyancing of house sale. Nothing put in writing for fees for estate work and after 5 months work quoted me a fee 3 times what they had told me face to face. Eventually got fee down after arguing with them. Against my better judgement gave them conveyancing work. Day house sold
never bothered to tell me house sale had completed saying it was late in the day, despite the fact estate agent told me at 2pm sale had went through and keys handed over. Then claimed fee charged by factor to provide them with information is something they were not aware off despite being emailed this. I expected a professional service but did not get one.

Amazing, professional and personal. Could not recommend enough, especially in employment law.

10/10! After years of dealing with conveyancing solicitors up and down the country in various matters, the team at BTO have been hands down the best in the business! Vast knowledge and efficient handling of cases! Can’t fault the service and value, highly recommend them for all property matters.
