Thought I was ordering slippers from a UK site as nowhere in the website or delivery information states that these were coming from China. When contacted customer services they said they couldn't stop the order so no refund could be given. I feel cheated as would never have ordered slippers from the other side of the world as not Climate friendly. It remains to be seen what the quality is like as they haven't arrived yet after being ordered in mid- December.

Horrible Customer Service.
Shoes were poor quality so after seeking a return, customer service offered me a pathetic 10% of my money back, less shipping of course. After almost a month of complaining they upped it to 20% back.
The best part is, when i opted to ship the item back and take a full refund, they said i missed my 30 day window!

This company is criminal. I don't recommend and hope the evaporate soon.

Absolutely awful! I ordered a pair of slippers from Calceus as a Christmas gift for my mother. I paid £40 and was expecting a good quality pair of slippers. What I received was far from good quality and I have since seen the same pair of slippers listed in coupon and voucher websites for £9.99. I discussed this with Calceus who initially did not want to refund me but eventually when I quoted their actual refund policy they offered me a pathetic 10% and I had to cover the cost of shipping. Shipping to China or Canada is over £25. I asked if Calceus could organise a return postage label and they refused. This company is abhorrent and has caused me nothing but stress. I would advise everyone to avoid. Don’t spend a single penny here!

Ordered item from this company being as careful as I could to ensure item being sold in the UK. Website had UK address. Then I had to chase order to ensure I would have it before Christmas due to Post Office Strikes and courier lags. I have had a reply and the item is coming from China. 1) at this time of year I would not buy an item from abroad due to delivery worries. 2) I would not buy from China because of Human Rights crimes. I am very angry that these companies are cheating their way into orders and not allowing you an honest choice who you buy from. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Zero zero zero. They sent the wrong item and I still had to pay $55 to return my $120 order. Do not buy from this place!

Would put 0 if I could. USPS, didn’t deliver my order. The only options calceus gave was was wait 1-3 months and STILL pay a $7 shipping fee or pay an additional 50% of the cost of my order AND the $7 shipping fee for immediate reshipment. What a scam!

Absolute rubbish... their website goes to great lengths to convince you this is a quality brand located in the UK, UK address, phone number etc.

What they actually are is a cheap chinese company selling $1 shoes, from china.

They will arrive with the well known brand "Fashion" on them.

When you try to return them they will give you an address in Canada or China to return to.

I'm going to have to go through my bank to get my money back it seems.

Avoid this "brand" at all costs, one of the most dishonest transactions I've ever encountered.

Fake website, I contacted my credit card company and got a refund.

I received my shoes in the right size - but two left feet! After reading what is written here, no point in returning them or getting replacement. Luckily they are shoes for the garden and I can wear them just at home! Funny wearing a left shoe on my right foot!! If the owner of two right shoes wants to swap one for a left shoe, let me know!! LOL!!

O stars, really. My experience is the same as almost all the others here. I received a pair of poor quality, under-sized water shoes and have been unable to get information on how to return them. No reply to my emails, and the customer service phone number is not a real number. Obviously a scam.

No returns.

Yes, they do accept returns under the condition that it is unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging. HOWEVER, they DO NOT provide return labels. If you are living outside Canada or China, the shipping fee will be much higher than your item cost. And they don't refund the original shipping cost, so either way, you are losing money. Their customer service actually tell me to give to someone else as a gift...

The men's sandals I ordered were flawed in so many ways. The velcro strap was too short for even my foot to be held in, the stitching was raw and the toe seem open. The chinese company refused to pay for the international shipping back and said I would also have to pay for the original shipping. They didn't seem to think those flaws a defect. They did offer a 20% refund ($10).

My story is like most others I have read. Long delivery time, only able to contact through email, (very slow), shoes arrived and I'm not satisfied with the fit or quality. Then I find out about the return shipping to Canada or China, which costs more than the shoes. What a rip off!!!

What a rip-off. Took over 2 weeks to get shoes since they ship the cheapest way possible. Shoes were sub-par in quality and arrived too late for what they were needed for. They claim to take returns within 30 days but neglect to tell you that you have to ship via USPS to Canada or China only. So return shipping is more expensive than the shoes. Stick with Zappos.

Their product is the absolute worst. Very cheaply made boots. Non existent customer service. Buy anywhere else! Would not refund my money due to their mistake.

Bought water shoes. It took 2 weeks to get the shoes because they came from China. They were good quality but too small. I notified Calceus by email because that's the only way you can contact customer service. They told me I could only return the shoes to Canada or China not anywhere in the USA. I was also told I had to pay for shipping. The cost to ship to Canada from Los Angeles is almost the cost of the shoes so we gave the shoes away and ordered a new pair from Amazon. It was the same exact shoe from a different supplier but we got the shoes the next day and if we had needed to return them they would have gone back to Amazon. The shoes were cheaper also!

This company has horrible customer service. It took two weeks for my shoes to come, right after ordering I went to change the size I got because I read they ran small. When I logged into my account page it said I ordered a different size which was actually the size I wanted. When the shoes came it was the original size that was too big. I told them I wanted to exchange them and they said I had to pay for the shipping. I went back and forth with them sending screen shots of my account page. The admitted they had an error on their end and the best they could do was 10% off, I didn't accept that because the shoes were too big and taking $5 offf wouldnt change it. They then offered 20% off which still leaves me with a pair of shoes that dont fit. I decided to return them and pay $30 in shipping. I ended up getting the same exact shoe off of Amazon for $30 less than Calceus sells them for and it was next day shipping. The shoes are great but I'd recommend getting them from someone else. Save yourself some money, get next day shipping and free retruns if they don't fit.

Beware. Shoes are of worst quality. Contacted them to return and they give you a Chinese address. DO NOT BUY

Do NOT order from this website. It's a scam. My item never came, bogus tracking number, and customer service, "Sandy," gave me the run around. I had to submit a dispute w/ my credit card company to get a refund.

Four days of my husband wearing the shoes, the insoles are falling apart. The "after sales representative" said we cannot return them because they have been worn out.
