Well laid out web pages and links to technical documents made it easy to identify equipment needed for the requirements. Good order progress communication throughout, with links to obtain any support if it was needed. Package arrived quickly and all devices are in and working well.

Good price and fast delivery. Very reliable however customer services could do better I struggle to get through on phone and didn’t get a response when I emailed to advise of a faulty cable so had to but another that said it was only a part costing £3.00 and with the free delivery service I wasn’t too concerned as the speed of service and good price on products is compensation enough for me.

Great products and rapid delivery……..highly recommended - 5 star experience.

i give cctvtek 5 stars because even tho i had a small problem with a local ups delivery driver!! after i called cctv tek the problems was sorted out by a loverly young lady! so down to the products.... well what can i say apart from the best quality and ease of use. prices, middle of the road not cheap but not expensive either, very affordable..

I’m glad I got an email asking for feedback for a 5% discount on my next order. I will not be using Cctvtek ever again so somebody else is welcome to it.

I’ve now used them twice and after my first dealing I would have given them 5* no question. This second time, even after the first 5* rating they only get 1* at a push. I wish I could have given 0*.

Delivery was fast and everything I ordered was there as it should be. 2 turret acusense 4mp dome cameras. Installation is supposed to be easy. I’ll give you a run down of how I do it.

1. Unbox the camera
2. Open the little bags contained within the box which contain the screws, expanding fixings and the network cable waterproof connectors.
3. Connect the camera to a rj45 plug in your chosen mounting location.
4. Fix the camera using 3 screws provided into the expanding plugs
5. Login using a laptop to the NVR to view the camera angle.
6. Loosen the torx screw (tool provided) half a turn on the camera to allow adjustment of the orientation.
7. Once happy firm up torx screw (tool provided) to lock the orientation.
8. Fit plastic facia ring to cover fixings and finish off installation.

One camera was installed as normal without issue. The second I installed but once i got to step 7 the screw refused to get firm and continued to spin.

1. I contacted cctvtek and Steph assumed I was using the wrong end of the provided tool. The smaller of the 2 ends is for the aforementioned screw so in her mind I was using the end that was too big and spinning it in mid air not noticing the screw wasn’t rotating. After explaining I know how to tighten screws she suggested…

2. She would send me a new screw if she had one. I explained It could be the thread on the camera and might not be the screw thread.

3. She contacted Hikvision and their response was if the thread on the camera was damaged I would need to pay for a repair. I was disgusted at this suggestion. It’s a brand new camera which either had the screw cross threaded in the factory or wasn’t tapped correctly. I felt like I was needing to justify I hadn’t damaged it as there was no way it would have arrived that way.

4. She contacted Hikvision again who said if it came that way they would fix/ replace but if I noticed the fault after installation I would need to pay for a repair. Please check back to my method of installation which probably mirrors most other people’s and try and understand how I would of discovered the fault before installation.

I feel like Hikvision have a strict returns policy and cctvtek don’t want to refund you or replace faulty cameras if they will end up out of pocket.

I’m sorry but my contract is with you CCTVTEK and yours is with Hikvision. If they don’t look after you stop selling their cameras.
