We’re delighted to hear that you had a great experience with Celtic Legend and Arnold Clark, and that the Hyundai Tucson was comfortable and economical... nearly 50 mpg is certainly not bad for exploring Scotland! 🚗

It’s also great to hear that, when your plans changed, the Arnold Clark team were able to help adjust your rental and even refund the one-way rental fee. We’re sorry you arrived at the Edinburgh office just a few minutes after closing, but we’re pleased that the team were still able to find a solution that worked for you.

And thank you for mentioning Tripiamo! We’re really pleased to hear that you found the course useful. Driving on the left, getting used to Scottish roads and deciphering all those signs can be a little daunting when you first arrive, so it’s great to know that the course helped you feel prepared. 😊

We’re delighted to hear that you had a great experience with the car and our service, and that you enjoyed your holiday in Scotland. 🚗🏴

We’re sorry about the little scare at the roundabout! We completely understand how unnerving it must have been for the car to appear to cut out after only 500 metres, especially when you’re already navigating a busy road. The automatic stop/start system is designed to switch the engine off when the car is stationary and restart it automatically when you’re ready to move, but we appreciate that it can be quite a surprise if you haven’t encountered it before.

Thank you for pointing this out. We’ll certainly keep it in mind when explaining the cars to future customers, as a quick mention of the system could save someone else a similar moment of panic! 😊

Other than that initial surprise, we’re thrilled everything went smoothly. Thanks again for choosing Celtic Legend, Elaine, and we hope to welcome you back to Scotland in the future!

And thank you for the tip about simply calling the number we provide rather than hunting around for the courtesy phone! 😂 We’ll take that as a sign that perhaps the courtesy phone could be a little easier to find!

We’re particularly pleased that you enjoyed the Drive on the Left wristbands. They’re a small thing, but hopefully they provide a useful reminder when you’re concentrating on keeping to the correct side of the road! 😉🚗

Siamo davvero felici che abbiate scelto Celtic Legend dopo la vostra ricerca e che tutto sia andato alla perfezione, dalla comunicazione prima del viaggio fino alla consegna dell’auto. Per noi è particolarmente importante essere sempre disponibili e pronti a rispondere alle domande dei nostri clienti, soprattutto quando si viaggia in un Paese nuovo e ci si mette per la prima volta alla guida dall’altro lato della strada! 😅

E che bello sapere che, dopo i primi chilometri, la guida in Scozia è diventata anche divertente! Avete descritto perfettamente ciò che rende un viaggio on the road in Scozia così speciale: strade spettacolari, paesaggi che cambiano continuamente e una nuova meraviglia dietro ogni curva.

Twenty minutes for a replacement car is pretty impressive, and we’re glad the team were able to get you back on the road without too much disruption to your trip.

We’re sorry about the confusion at Glasgow Station. It certainly sounds like technology, phones and a few different locations all decided to make things more complicated than they needed to be! 😄 We’ll pass your feedback on regarding the pickup call, as we appreciate that being left waiting when you’re expecting a collection isn’t ideal.

We’re glad, though, that once the initial confusion was sorted, the team were able to get you on your way, reimburse the taxi and make the rest of the rental nice and straightforward. And thank you for keeping hold of that taxi receipt... excellent advice!

We also really appreciate your kind comments about Arnold Clark and the service you received after your previous experience with another rental company. It’s great to hear that the team helped restore your faith in car hire. 🚗

As for the Spanish phone and roaming… we’ll let you blame Brexit on this occasion! 😉 Although we’ll happily take the feedback on board about making sure the pickup process works smoothly regardless of which phone our customers are using.
