Definitely a scam - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I paid £462.50 up front for 5 cleans. 'Alex' was very attentive to start with but then started to mess me around with dates etc. Not good when you have a full diary for the summer season. Something felt off so I cancelled and he told me I would get a full refund within 5 days. That was over 2 months ago. Am persuing this through my credit card company now.

I paid upfront for 10 cleans however, none of the scheduled cleans have been done. I’ve tried calling and emailing my contact Alex, who had been excellent at replying quickly but I haven’t had a reply/response in a couple of weeks now. I feel like it’s a scam and will be starting legal proceedings to get my money back.

**Warning to other holiday-let hosts considering Changeover Cleaners / Manage My Clean**

I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to proceed with extreme caution.

I paid £3,100 upfront for 20 holiday-let changeover cleans. The first clean took place late, after my incoming guests had already checked in, and a later booked clean was not attended at all.

When I cancelled, I requested my refund and the return of my linen and towels, which had been removed for laundering. Communication has been terrible and, for long periods, effectively non-existent. Despite repeated chasers and assurances, my property has not been returned.

I have now had to pursue the refund through my bank and report the non-return of my property to the police. This has caused significant stress, disruption to guests and my holiday-let business, and additional expense replacing essential linen.

This is my personal experience, but I would not use this company again and would not recommend paying them substantial sums in advance.
