Ghosted... TWICE

Was asked for a telephone interview via LinkedIn during my 1-week business trip for a training in February 2019. The recruiter titled as Senior Accounts Manager insisted to arrange the call in the particular week instead of waiting until I got back, so I even canceled my train ticket. No call.

Was again contacted via LinkedIn by another recruiter of the same company in July 2019 for another call, again during my business trip. Didn't trust them enough to cancel my ticket this time, so the call was agreed to be on the next week. Luckily I trusted my gut, because again no call for the whole day of the arranged time.

As it has happened twice already by different recruiters of the same company, I can't help but getting the impression that such behaviour is simply the company culture, especially when even the Senior Manager acted so.

Hannah Moriarty contacted me for an open position which was very relevant to my expertise. Since I already had another open offer, we had to move fast and she did everything in her hands to accommodate that. She was always available for questions and kept in constant contact throughout every stage. I also appreciated the very good preparation document for the interview. In the end, I signed the contract of the suggested opportunity and look forward applying my experience in this new role. So in summary, I can fully recommend working with her and already referred a friend of mine to her.

My agent at ChapmanBlack was Hannah Moriarty who did an excellent job. The positions she found for me were numerous and spot on wrt my expertise. During the whole process, her conduct was very professional and proactive (she gave me concise information about the open positions and had a short response time when I approached her with questions). Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Chapman Black and I will gladly come back when either hiring or looking for new opportunities. I will gladly refer your company to my colleagues.
