We have used Christopher Plumbing Services for the past 9 years, they have fitted our bathroom and regularly maintained our boiler during this time. We find Chris and his team to be efficient, professional and friendly; regardless of the size of the job. Would highly recommend.

Christopher Plumbing turned my freezing house into a warm one with no fuss at all. Phoned them when my heating stopped with no heat and no hot water and I realised that a boiler maintenance was long overdue. After clearly laying out their charging structure which is also on their website I arranged an appointment for 5th Dec 2025 with an arranged time of 1.30-2.30. At 1.30 on the dot Martyn turned up and within 20 minutes expertly had the issue with the lack of heat and hot water identified, fixed and not long after the boiler maintenance was completed and the Service Certificate was in my inbox.

Excellent service from the first phone call till Martyn left and I highly recommend Christopher Plumbing Service to anyone who needs a reliable local service that gets the job done.

We have used Christopher Services a number of times in the last few years, including boiler service, radiator replacement etc. So we had no hesitation in calling them when a pipe started leaking beneath the floor of the upstairs bathroom. An appointment for the plumber to arrive was booked efficiently and quickly. Detecting the source of the leak involved cutting a hole in the downstairs ceiling. Having replaced the faulty pipe, Brian left the site clean and tidy. Christopher Plumbing always give us advance notice of the costs involved so there are no unexpected shocks at the end of the job.

Do what they say answer the phone give a time for a quote if you except the quote they you time when they will arrive and didalso on time and very good workmanship received

They answer the phone quickly, reassure you, tell you what they will do and actually do it for the price they said they would!

As a regular client of Christopher Plumbing I was once again happy to ask them to install a new boiler in the flat to which I had recently moved. As always I was very satisfied with the installation and related work Martyn kindly carried out. I am also grateful to Chris for his ongoing understanding and assistance particularly in light of my disability which means heating and plumbing issues take on an even higher priority for me personally.

The engineer came out the same day and promptly fixed my central heating. Efficient service at a reasonable cost.

The Good, Bad & the Ugly!
THE GOOD
I have used Christopher Plumbing in the past with no issues.
THE BAD
However, after attending to a drop in water pressure someone came out and suggested it was a valve problem? ( From the off I did say that I had a water softener). So I had the valve replaced. But still no improvement.
Then another plumber from CP returned and replaced another valve. Still no improvement?!
Only when they by-passed the water softener did the pressure return to normal! So I had two valves replaced apparently for no reason?!
Then to top it off I noticed a leak from the pipework where CP had replaced the valve, plus water coming out of the pressure release valve dripping outside.

So I called in D &D NRG plumbing & heating. Immediately D&D said that previous work had caused the leak and our pressurised system had not been recharged correctly, so causing the pressure release valve to drip! Also that the water softener should have been the first thing to be checked with water pressure issues!
THE UGLY
So after paying out £492.11 to CP, then another £436.51 to fix the leak and recharging the system caused by CP I was a bit miffed!!!!
After contacting CP and even forwarding the report from D&D, CP denied any wrong doing! Then to top it off, they just ignore my emails. So now I am looking into the small claims Court!

Leak in main tank reported on Friday, fixed on the following Monday.
Timely and efficient - recommended

I have been using Christopher Plumbing for about 3-4 years. Always excellent service. They always answer the phone, give appointment times, and turn up within the times stated, and are always polite. A 5* plus service.

We have used Chris a few times now and all his reviews sum up perfectly about his work.
He is reliable, tidy and works to an extremely high standard. He is also a rarity amongst modern day tradesmen in the fact that he turns up when he says he will!

needed a boiling tap fitted to replace existing tap in kitchen , Got in Christopher plumbing services that did a survey and provided a recommendation on boiling tap to be fitted . Price was good , job was completed in 1/2 day to a good standard . tap works perfectly

I have always found that Christopher Plumbing provide an excellent service. I have used them annually for a boiler service and they are my first port of call for any other plumbing issues. All their plumbers have been very polite and fastidious in their work and I highly recommend Christopher Plumbing.

The service from initial enquiry to completing the job was 10 out of 10. Prompt reply from my first call and immediately felt as if I was a priority. They were extremely efficient and professional and kept me informed all the way through the works. Turned up when agreed, extremely helpful & gave some great advice too.
