I should of done a more extensive job of reviewing what others have said about this company. I ordered a dual watch winder (paid over $250.) and it arrived damaged. After reaching out to Chronos 1907, they failed to provided either a replacement of a refund. They continue to send me verbose emails stating that they are reviewing the information and evaluating the circumstance. They continue to simply "push" me off and fail to provide any financial restitution. Stay away from this company!

Ordered a watch from them, I’ve never received the order but the money taken from my bank. Have emailed them 36 times and get exactly the same reply. Obviously another scam… I’m more angry at myself for trusting them. DO MOT ORDER YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY

Absolutely awful company. I ordered two watches in error. I immediately e-mailed them to explain that I only wanted one watch. They sent me a standard reply and promised to get back to me. They never got back to me and sent two watches. They now just send the same stock reply to my e-mails and wont let me return one watch.

I ordered some extraction hardware, but it didn't arrive. I called customer service, and both Mark and Chris were very attentive and resolved the issue quickly. Although my items arrived a bit late, it wasn't due to any fault of Cronis Ltd. When I initially didn’t receive my goods, I panicked after reading some negative reviews online. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well my situation was handled. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend their service.
Hope this helps someone make their decision to buy. It’s easy to leave a negative review. But definitely not in my case. Thanks guys.

Ordered on Monday informed Wednesday one of the items was out of stock had to cancel the order

Total crap service - don't send them any money - you'll just get ripped off.

Order arrived damaged, returned the item, they swore blind there was no problem.

Just a bunch of jerkoffs fleecing the user.

You get what you pay for. I ordered from them because they were best price on product. Their website says speedy mail order service. Paid on march 28. They shipped 8 days later. Now April 9. Tracking says still in transit. Will it arrive hard to say, there are no updates on their tracking

Shame chronos have sold their soul to Asia and thus have gone from a very good company to a Chinese scrap outlet! I recently bought a set of milling machine clamps from them through E bay, they were so badly distorted basically un finished that I started a return they looked nothing like the image on E bay, they responded quickly and said to return them for a full refund, a friend advised that he had a set in similar condition which worked ok and that getting better from China was going to be tricky so I canceled the return and resolved not to risk Chronos again I then spoke to an other model engineer who posed a perfectly made set sold in the red storage rack (the one advertised on eBay by Chronos) the one they sent me was blue and contained junk, it turns out that China will turn out what you pay them to turn out! So Shame on you Chronos I will buy another set from a reputable dealer!

I have used this company on a few occasions and have always been happy with the goods and service. Recently bought a few items in the sale and they arrived quickly, well packaged and reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again.

Poor service ordered from woodworking site shows in stock placed order no delivery chased and found that not in stock not a very good response.
Cancelled order now Waiting for refund will not use this company again poor service and incredibly slow delivery times

wished to purchase permagrit tools but not sure if suitable for my needs and which grit size to purchase so decided to just buy a medium grit small file to start. sanding blocks and sets are in the £20 to £30 range so wanted to make sure I would get the most appropriate items, hence the smaller first purchase. I also looked for 1.5mm drill bits and 1-2-3blocks but nothing showing. the web site heading says includes postage and the individual items say includes postage. Tried to check out and pay for the one item available but not possible. I phoned Chronos and was told there is a min spend of £6. My spend was over that but appears the £6 is before vat and my order was pence short. I would have thought most of their customers paid vat! Even though I would be making a much larger order next time and the present order was pence short it was clear they would rather not have any of the sales. I find this an odd attitude. The reason for other items not showing was out of stock. From other reviews this appears to be recurring theme. I am surprised that an item as common as a 1.5mm drill bit is not in stock.
Their web site needs to be updated to clearly show their true trading policy.
I was looking at some other items and they were more expensive than other sellers so postage has be included in the prices.

Came here to leave a 1* review - looks like I'm not alone - more than 50% of reviews are 1*. That takes some doing. Ordered from them 5 days ago - they said it was in stock and delivery would be 9 - 11 May. Today (10 May) - when I expected to receive it - got a message that it was not in stock!!! I could have added it to another order I made and saved in postage. This has cost me time and money. Terrible service - I really have come to expect outstanding service from companies in 2022, but not here.

I was a little concerned when I first saw the negative reviews, but they all seemed to relate to finding that products which were shown as in stock turned out not to be in stock ... so I gave them a call before placing my order, and asked if the 4 items I wanted were in stock. 3 of them were, and 1 of them wasn't so I took an alternative which was. The chap on the phone was very helpful I might add.

I placed my order on Monday morning, paid for next day delivery, got a shipping notification later that afternoon and just received my order now on Tuesday afternoon – everything present and very well packed. I couldn't have asked for better service!

The biggest plus is that the prices for the same products with Chronos were between 20% and 50% cheaper than Axminster who I was planning on buying them from originally – for exactly the same products by the same manufacturers!

With this level of service and their excellent pricing I'll certainly be shopping with Chronos again (but phoning them first just to be sure what I'm ordering is in stock).

I have purchased a few tools from chronos recently, all hassle free and good quality, I most recently had a issue with, a screw in an adjustable parallel rounding, Mark at chronos is sending me a replacement parallel, no fuss transaction. Excellent company.

I ordered drill bits to arrive next day. The next day they email me to tell me the bits aren't in stock and won't be for a while, did I want a refund.

They don't monitor stock levels and so you buy things that aren't in stock, expecting to receive them next day. How is anyone meant to work and plan like this I have no idea. Absolutely no good to anyone. Avoid.

First class product and service, I will be definitely be ordering from here again.

Unfortunately, same problem as others have stated. Chronos take your order, you hear and receive nothing, then when you phone up, you're told that the item's no longer in stock. Assuming it was ever in stock in the first place. Blame myself, should have reviewed more.
On a more positive note, PayPal payment was quickly refunded. Hence, the one star...

I've been using Chronos for several years now and product quality and service has always been very good.
I purchased a magnifying desk lamp. The unit had a problem after a couple of weeks after a spring failed. Customer service was straight on it and the replacement was here in 24 hours.
Fantastic customer support. Will use again. Thanks Chronos !

Ordered a Sparmax airbrush and compressor as both were noted available on the Chronos web site. They weren’t. After payment had been taken for next day delivery I reviewed an email telling me the airbrush was out of stock and no doubt for future availability and the compressor wouldn’t be available for a week. I requested an immediate refund and have heard nothing. They are in breach of the provisions under the “misrepresentation of goods act”.

I recently bought a 5"rotary table/dividing kit that turned out to be such poor quality I had to return it. I'm giving 4 stars because there was no problem at all with the return and a full refund. Everything else that I have bought from Chronos has been very good, deliveries are always prompt and prices good too, I am very happy to buy from them.
