I signed up for NVIDIA's Valuation Masterclass and honestly it was one of the best decisions I've made for my finance journey. It gave me a clearer picture of what to focus on, not just the technical knowledge but also how markets actually work in reality. The second half was very hands-on where we pulled real data and learned how to read the numbers more accurately.
Highly recommend it to anyone looking to break into core finance!

With very little investment banking experience, I was nervous about my prospects of breaking into such a competitive industry.

I completed the 8-week City Investment Training programme in Summer 2025, and it completely changed that.

I built full financial models, worked on DCF, M&A and LBO analysis, and created investment decks I could confidently walk through in interviews.

The interview preparation was a game changer - the mock interviews and case study practice gave me the confidence to perform under pressure.

Sameer also has a great way of breaking down complex technical concepts into simple steps, making even difficult valuation techniques easy to understand and explain.

I have attended multiple workshops of City Investment Training. I attended their Financial Modelling workshop where we forecasted financial statements.
In their Hedge Fund training program we built a portfolio based on certain criteria on Koyfin. In their most recent Private Equity Workhsop we built an LBO model from scratch, gained insights on how to break into private equity and investment banking overall. Their workshops are really heelpful and give a realistic picture of the IB world.
I recommend everyone to take their 8 week course for those who want to kisckstart a career in investment banking.

Great free course for anyone interested in private equity. It covers everything from career paths and interview prep to actually building an LBO model, which makes it very practical. The demo of mock interview with Sameer was especially useful for understanding real expectations.
