We bought two HP Chromebooks from this company for our kids but found that they are too heavy for our kids to bring along to school as we don't have a car. We just opened the boxes to check the Chromebooks and didn't use it at all. We want to return and get the refund but they replied that the Chromebooks are non-returnable and non-refundable once the boxes are opened. They didn't put these terms and conditions in advance when we we were placing our orders via their online shop. We only receive the return and refund policies in the Quote sent via email after the orders were placed. According to another term & condition in this Quote, "Customer-submitted orders through Emerge will be treated by Compugen Inc. as a binding order to purchase.", that means we have to complete our transaction as it is a binding order to purchase. Now, they use the opened boxes as an excuse not to return & refund our two Chromebooks. We just migrated to Canada and feel very frustrated about the way this company handling our return request. We are so disappointed about the services this company offer to its first-time customer. We will never purchase any goods or services from this company again.

They have a track record of sending wrong items. If you need quicker deliveries of products the first time around, they are not reliable. It doesn't matter how smooth the return process is if they can't send the right items. It happened multiple times with me, which forced me to leave a public review.

The company should've informed their customers if they don't have enough units as of the moment and that we have to wait for the stocks to arrive. But they processed our order first, accepted payment, before telling us that they can't deliver yet because they ran out.
