Mark and Dan were great. On time, efficient and did a great tidy up before they left.

The workmen, Gary and Scott, were very efficient and always left the site in a tidy state.

Mark from Rodda and Hocking arrived on time to fit two doors in weather conditions that were far from pleasant being an outside job. The doors were fitted in a very proffesional manner, the area was left tidy He was very polite and advised me of how he was going about the job.

Ordered my 7 windows of various sizes through Rodda and Hocking, I believe in keeping it local. Office staff certainly could have been better as quite difficult to get hold of at times but adequate.
Had 2 days booked for the installation and the fitter(Mark CTG) arrived on time and was polite and very knowledgeable.
He said that our windows were one of the hardest he had in over 20 years, but he took it in his stride and was professional to the end, 2 long hard days and many coffees later the job was done and what a superb job he done. He is a credit to your company, many thanks Mark. I would not have any problems recommending Rodda and Hocking to any of my friends or family, with employees like Mark.

Ordered two large windows, front door and side panel. Quote was excellent, quality of windows and door appear to be very good although they have just been fitted. The workmen especially Mark from CTG was friendly, hardworking and excellent.
Now the not so good points. Promised pre Xmas installation if ordered at the time, didn't happen. After lots of chasing finally got a installation date of mid January. Come the installation the door doesn't fit correctly despite workmen trimming the max from the door. Left with a door that lets in a howling draft throughout winter. Fast forward end of February and finally got a replacement door fitted now still waiting for the correct handle. After sales customer service has been less than ideal, noone seems to answer the phone, installation is carried out by CTG so Rodda & Hocking can't give details of installation. Email was the best way to communicate and even that was frustrating!

From the first enquiry phone call to Rodda & Hocking through to installation every one I dealt with was polite, helpful and very professional. I am delighted with the front door, the fitter left no mess and was friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Rodda & Hocking in Camborne replaced our glass roof on our conservatory with a solid tiled roof. We are pleased with the result. Nigel & Rob were a pleasure to have working for us & did the job very quickly. They were followed by Jason & Richard who finished off the inside with a plaster finish. The plastering was done by Jason & his attention to detail was very impressive. It looks good.
I only gave 4 stars because it is a nightmare to get hold of anyone in the office if you have a query. No one answers the phone & it goes straight to answerphone. You then have to wait around for someone to call you back which is ok if you have a mobile but not very helpful if you only have a landline.
The advert says “we are with you every step of the way” Well we had no contact going up to our installation date from anyone so only found out the fitters were definitely coming because the scaffolding arrived.
We as customers feel assured to be kept in the loop of what’s happening & in our case didn’t feel that happened. This was a shame because it tainted an otherwise great job by Nigel, Rob, Jason & Richard.

Would give this a minus rating of possible. Had problems with a composite door fitted in 2022. For the past 3 weeks have tried to contact them for after sales support. You only get answering machine when you phone and despite leaving numerous messages and filling in umpteen contact forms from their website no one returns the calls. This is the Rhodda and hocking website, used to be a very good company but no longer

The '10 year peace of mind guarantee' on a composite front door bought from this company (trading as Rodda and Hocking Ltd of Camborne Cornwall) in 2016 (at a cost of £1700) proved to be worthless when the door finally warped and couldn't be used at all during the last years (2022) hot summer. I had reported failings with this door (including poor fitting and blown glazing panes) ) on five occasions up to and including last year. This firms initial workmanship was shoddy. (that resulted in the door warping according to their own staff) They lacked appropriate customer care. They were tardy in the extreme and only communicated when chased and /or threatened with legal proceedings. They took five months to replace a blown glazing pane with loads of excuses but no action. In my opinion their 'Peace of mind Guarantee' was disingenuous at best and totally misleading. Finally got fed up with waiting for them to actually replace the door ( a composite door should last 30 years by all accounts on the internet - R and H 's didn't last 6 years) Took the firm to Truro County Court and was awarded damages and costs amounting to close to £1200. Consumer Rights Act 2015 can apply to goods bought up to six years ago and can offer good protection against companies trying to hide behind the small print.
I obviously do not recommend this company and would advise anyone using them to thoroughly check the terms of their guarantee. This firm was bought out by Britannia Windows in 2019 - who do apparently offer a ten year full guarantee on their composite door.
