Seems like a front for illegal websites to be registered in. All the YouTube porn bots are cosmotown domains. Their abuse contact throws an error and once you find a way to send one, you get no reply

Cosmotown has been one of the most frustrating hosting/domain experiences I’ve ever had. Something as basic as domain registration is still being done manually — yes, manually — and support openly admits this while doing absolutely nothing to resolve it in a reasonable timeframe(We paid for the comsotown whmcs module).

I currently have multiple open tickets, some going back days and even weeks, all for the same simple issue. Each ticket gets either no response or a recycled reply with zero progress. No updates, no timelines, no accountability.

Purchases are taken instantly, but once they have your money, you’re left chasing support that doesn’t seem equipped or motivated to help. This isn’t a complex technical edge case — it’s core functionality that any serious provider should handle automatically.

The lack of communication, the delays, and the overall unprofessional handling make Cosmotown feel unreliable and outdated. If you’re looking for a provider that respects your time and operates like a modern service, look elsewhere. I genuinely regret choosing Cosmotown.

In cosmotown domain panel, the domain delete button is next to nameserver change button. While using mobile, internet was bit slow, as i was way back to home, In hurry i tried to update the nameservers of my client domain, and the domain got deleted accidentally. This domain was registered 20 days ago. Now as per Cosmotown company the domain is in redemption phase and they are asking me to pay 80$ for an accidentally deleted domain. They ask 100 times about domain transfer confirmation through email, if you try to transfer a domain from their company to some other company. But they did not care to reconfirm through email verification, if I really want to delete domain or I just accidentally clicked on domain delete button. At least put the domain delete button as much far away from domain nameservers change button. So same issue never happen with any other client. As the domain got deleted accidently because of my mistake, why will client pay 80$.

I found the reseller API requirements extremely difficult, practically impossible for beginners in the field. They set impossible conditions to prevent anyone from becoming a reseller. All the requirements were met before, including a $50 deposit, but now it's $100, and the conditions are prohibitive. I haven't seen these conditions in any other company. This is very unfortunate, and I can't find any justification for it, especially since they're the only company doing this. This is truly regrettable and bad.I had hoped they would encourage people, not burden them with difficult conditions.

Did you ever go to another company and find "special offers" enticing you with domain names that seem too good to be true where the first year is as cheap as peanuts? BE WARNED! Read the terms and conditions and you will find next year it's up to $20 and if you need additional services there is more on top. You never get that with Cosmotown.

In addition, do you know any companies that give you privacy protection for FREE at the price of Cosmotown?

I am sticking with this company for the long term as I cannot find anyone better for the price and functions I get. I highly recommend them!

Price is Good but support is worst. I had to migrate domain just because domain contact is not updating. I contacted support but not received any response even after waiting for 5 days.

Decent prices, but transactions rarely go through correctly the first time. Credit card often rejected, tech support says "not our fault", credit card company says it IS their fault.
They also list "premium" domains and sell them, but then tell you later that they can't sell them even though they let you buy them. Pretty incompetent.

Absolutely no support, 3 tickets opened without a reply. I can't believe a company exists without replying to support tickets in weeks.
