Beware of this company!!
Beware of this company!! Cosmotown suspends domains without reason.
They suspended the imexbb.com domain last Saturday after receiving an automated mass email from a trademark law firm that was spidering the Internet. This email complained about a single copyright-questioning posting. For these cases, the forum has a reporting function where users can report inappropriate user posts to us. imexbb.com is a non-profit business forum for traders and entrepreneurs where they can exchange ideas. The domain has been operated by another registrar since 2009 without any problems. 2 months ago we transferred our domain to cosmotown.com to save a few dollars per year as it is the cheapest registrar. A big mistake as it turned out. On the day of the blocking, we explained the situation to cosmotown via email. According to the cosmotown website, they respond within 24 hours. We have not received a response to any of our emails to date - almost a week later. Such a registrar is a disgrace to the Internet. Since we do not generate any revenue from the Bulletin Board, we will not hire a lawyer to recover the stolen domain. It is intended as a warning to everyone not to trust their domain to this registrar.

Support doesn't work.
My ticket #104841 with a simple queston is still being reviewed, a week after request. I can't start working with my new domain because I can't receive it. I'm losing money every day, I'm still getting ignored.

Great Pricing
I have purchased a lot of domains over the years (since 1999) and must say that compared to all the big companies, Cosmotown is by far the best I have used and the most reasonable when it comes to pricing. If you want price gouging, go to the big companies, but if you want fair pricing, use Cosmotown. I have even directed all of my other purchased domains over to this company.

Prices are good but support service is very bad.
You have to work on support to improve it so that you can retain clients.
Some times we won't get generic issues, in that case no one available not even a chat for communication.
At least implement live chat on website. Existing chat is of no use in critical situations.

I’m extremely disappointed
I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of support and responsiveness from this company. It’s been over 15 days since I raised an issue with DNS updates for two of my domains, and despite following up twice via email, I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or resolution.
Timely communication is a basic expectation for any service provider, and this experience has been nothing short of frustrating. This delay has caused unnecessary inconvenience, and the lack of updates reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction.
I cannot recommend this service until they address these issues and improve their support standards.

Great Service but Customer Support is terrible
Gave 3 Stars because I want to be fair.
Services are affordable, payment is flawless and activation is automatic upon successful payment which is great but their their greatest problem is customer support which is extremely poor. They seem not to understand the urgency of providing customer and how lack of it could damage a business.
Sometimes it takes almost a week to get a response and that's not good at all.
If they improve on their customer support I'll come back and give them 5-stars

i work with cosmotown since 2 years ago and all good, Until a couple of months ago they began to implement certain changes and many things are stopping working, before you wrote to support and they solved it, now I have a problem with my clients and my account and I have no answer, it's a shame

a great cheap registrar
a great cheap registrar I don't use any of their other services so can't speak for them but as the cheapest place to get a .com I then point to cloudflare nameservers is great.
only problems i have is their only "2fa" method is getting an email I would much prefer adding a yubikey or authenticator app and that their UI was confusing at first.

Login process sucks
I've moved 19 of my domains to Cosmotown because of the low price, but I've decided to move all of them elsewhere as they expire, just because the login process is such a pain in the ###, particularly that recaptcha crap with the indistinct pictures. I rarely get past that on the first attempt. Is that little piece of the rider's leg considered part of the motorcycle or not? Oops, guessed wrong, try again. Is that little clump of pixels a traffic light? Wrong, try again. Using that, PLUS the "I am not a robot" thing, PLUS having to get a verification number from email is absurd -- even my bank accounts are easier to access. The frustration is just not worth saving a couple of dollars a year. Reading these reviews, it appears that I have been extremely lucky that I haven't needed any support, so hopefully I can get everything moved before I do.

C sends you to PayPal at Checkout, which is much more expensive than CC (lousyUSD conversion). The offered Credit Card payment does not work and is immediately forwarded to PayPal. Comment on my Credit Card payment attempt: My CC would be "declined". What percentage does Cosmotown get from PayPal, which is much more expensive? By the way, my PayPal also runs via my Credit Card account! Cunning!

dont expect it to do everything, but for $7.89 the best .com price and value for bulk name buyers. cant expect all the fancy stuff that comes with $15 names. but for anyone who just wants to buy names and hold. this is a huge bargain.
