Excellent service and delivery

Beautiful cake topper and sent very quickly. Very well packaged. Good size too.

I am very disappointed and upset with this company. I feed ripped off. I telephoned them to enquire about the pastel gel food colouring products they were selling before purchasing. I specifically asked if they were firm or liquid gel as the consistency would affect the Mexican paste I was using. I was told they were of a firm gel only to discover on their arrival they very much weren’t. This cost me postage back and they have charged me postage for sending out despite having ordered nearly £90 worth of goods. When calling to discuss they showed no interest or accountability. I’d advise not to purchase from them as it’s only when something goes wrong you realise how helpful or not a business is. This company was very much not helpful!

Having now received a reply it reiterates a company that doesn’t take accountability and are seemingly not familiar with cake decorating with various different mediums of icing. It being a matter of subjective as to whether gels are firm or liquid is very disappointing. I would not trust this company to give reliable or accurate information. I’d suggest shopping elsewhere.

Thoughtful. A speedy delivery arriving appropriately and safely packaged. I ordered a variety of products some of which needed carful wrapping to prevent damage (delicate Cake topper). All are high quality and exactly as specified on the website, so no unfortunate surprises. Will continue to use this company.

I ordered a cake on the 27th of February and paid £10 extra for weekend delivery for a birthday event. The cake arrived with mould on the baking paper that lined the cake. This raised food safety and hygiene concerns and I didn’t feel that the cake was safe to serve to guests so requested a refund. The company seemed ambivalent and responded with ‘apologies’ that felt stiff and insincere, repeatedly saying that they’d never received a complaint like this and stating that they’d refund me ‘just in case’ despite me providing photographic proof of the mould and the batch number. The phrasing felt like they were doing me a favour instead of doing due diligence for a visibly unsafe product. I requested a refund and two weeks later I’ve received nothing. I would not recommend this company. Customer service is unsatisfactory, the cake had to binned and my money has still not been refunded despite numerous emails and requests.

Edit: The company’s response below is incorrect but not surprising as it is consistent with the poor customer service I’ve received thus far. I ordered from the correct business and have email correspondence and receipts to show this. I spoke to Jane. The assumption based on my user name is unfounded. I did not state in my review that I ordered from Kenya. I am however surprised that the company appears unaware of its own product range as they do in fact sell and ship cakes. I maintain my review and still await my refund.

Edit 2: The company has now removed their earlier response, which had incorrectly stated that I had contacted the wrong business. They have since acknowledged the issue and confirmed that a refund has been processed, although I have not yet received it.

While I appreciate the acknowledgement, I am still awaiting the refund. I will update this review once it has been received.

Very speedy delivery would not use any other surplier very happy with my items
