I purchased a tumble dryer from the Chesterfield store. Luiza made the experience. Informative, helpful and a lovely person. She was an absolute credit to the brand. It's service like this that will make me a returning customer and recommends Curry's at Chesterfield to friends and family.

I went into the store knowing loosely what I wanted, but I definitely needed help. Then arrived Jith, who within an instant, clocked onto exactly what I was looking for and helped direct me onto the correct path. His customer service skills were excellent and I felt well looked after. Setting up credit seems so daunting, but Jith made me feel very comfortable, with a big emphasis on my being able to take my time which I appreciated deeply. Nothing was a fuss, not even when I needed to arrange home delivery! I left with a TV, a sound bar, and a lot of respect. 10/10 store, 10/10 service, 10/10 Jith!

The customer service in the Chesterfield store is excellent; so helpful and professional. Ion served us initially and he guided us to our purchase beautifully. Pam and Jenny at the Customer Services Desk are delightful. We always enjoy our visit to the store because of the staff; we always leave with peace of mind.

The men were efficient and professional and left the kitchen clean and tidy

Alex, the computer expert was absolutely brilliant. Explained what I needed, it was a last minute birthday present for my wife, none in stock, sorted delivery for next day! I can’t thank him enough, 1000 out of 100 (that’s correct not a miskey)

The sales lady Alex was very helpful and professional she knew all about the fridge freezer we were going to get and we were very happy to listen to her advice. I’ll be very happy to tell my friends and family how good the experience of shopping with curry’s was.It was a pleasure to meet her and there was no hard sell on her part.Just a good experience we will definitely shop with you again if all your sales personnel are like her.

The phone was as advertised but the charger, which was recommended to buy with it, had a different connector cable to that on the phone. I was supposed to get an email when it was ready for collection but it didn't arrive. When I went into store to ask what was happening my parcel was there. It took ages to set it up and transfer things from my old phone and I apparently made a mistake so that colours on photos were inverted. The technical service when I took it back to store was excellent and quickly corrected the colours so I've given you an extra star from my original intention. The phone quality seems good although I'm still trying to get used to the differences.

Wear some bright clothing or better still, nothing at all, that way the staff will notice you instead of walking past to go and talk with reps or colleagues, it was only when I walked passed them to leave, that I got asked if I needed assistance.

Ion was very helpful and patient with us when we were looking for laptops. He explained the spec for each of the ones we looked at and gave advice as to the best ones to suit our needs.

He sorted out blue light discount for us and gave us a good deal all round.

We ordered a washing machine you delivered it. Your delivery men damaged the plug and then refused to install the machine. You left it in the middle of my dining room. When we'd pay for installation. My husband had to move the machine and install it by himself. When it should be done by two people. The two people you sent with the delivery. I've complained but heard nothing.

This isn't the first complaint we've made to you Currys. I made complaints previously and these were dealt with. This was because I formally to your CEO. I then had taken this further and reported you to the necessary governing bodies. You been threatened with legal action against you before today by us.

Before this you refused to replace a television that was faulty. It couldn't have been anything we'd done as the fault was inside the motherboard. Which nobody can get to. It wasn't an external fault or external damage. Nobody touches the television. A female on the phone accused us of damaging it. So accused us trying to commit insurance fraud and of deliberately voiding our insurance.

Then you brought the television back when I asked you not to and I told the rude delivery man who was very abrupt with me to take it away again as I wanted a new television as we were insured. Also by law if it it's faulty and has to be fixed more than twice. You are entitled under your insurance and Currys policy to have a new one. You gave us a new television. As you knew you were in the wrong and were completely banged to rights.

Every time one of your gormless goons have come to my property you've been very rude and personal to me about my house. Why was my kitchen so narrow as it was a galley kitchen. Asking me why the machine wasn't in the room next to the kitchen where the bathroom was and why wasn't that a utility room. As it would be easier. I'm the customer. I'm not here to make your life easier. You're there as the company I've paid money to for a service to make my life easier as the customer not the other way around. Saying I don't know if we will get the machine in. Yes you will mate we've paid for it and it's your job to install it. Same as it was your job to fix the faulty machine idiots. So you'll do it.

Your engineers on several occasions making excuses that they couldn't move the machine out to fix it as the kitchen was so small when my machine needed repairing. Sounds like lazy, half arsed work to me. From incompetent idiots who can't be bothered. Who are getting paid a wage to go their jobs so do them Currys and shut up moaning. Making personal remarks about why my kitchen needed work doing to it. You work for Currys not Sixty Minute Makeover. Why is that your business just do your job you are paid to do. Give me the service I've paid for and leave my property. What's difficult about that Currys?

Every time you'd be visiting me I'd have anxiety because your staff would make me feel bad. Are your staff paid to bully and harass customers and make them feel bad Currys? No they aren't. You're paid to sell electrical items to your customers. Who do you idiots actually think you are Currys?

You people used to be trustworthy and reliable. We used you for years. But not anymore. You are ignorant and very rude to your customers. We moved the washing machine cover to the manufacturer to avoid dealing with you absolute narcissists. Sadly the TV is still under you unfortunately. I'm hesitant to let you in my property again after your staff members previous conduct towards me.

In closing Currys I'm the customer and I'm always right. Word of mouth about your staffs disgusting behaviour and your terrible service spreads far quicker than good word of mouth remember that. You aren't invincible either you can be sued by law for what you've done to us. So be very careful Currys. Be very careful how you speak to people and how you treat them especially your loyal customers.

Excellent service

My experience with Currys Chesterfield was exceptional and this was all down to Vogue. Vogue remembered me when I returned after enquiring about a dishwasher for my mum on a previous visit. (I have never owned or bought a dishwasher before, and had a lot of questions which Vogue expertly answered).

When I returned to buy the one she recommended based on my mum's requirements, she was exceptionally patient with me, whilst also arranging for an extra staff member to assist with other customers who also required asssistance.

I highly recommend Vogue's exceptional customer service at Currys Chesterfield, which made my shopping experience an extremely pleasant one. Thank you Vogue for a wonderful experience!! When I return, I'll be sure to look out for you!

Your sales representative could not answer any of my questions. In fact I looked things up on my phone in his presence. Somebody more knowledgeable would have helped my decision.

Happy and loving my fridge

Arrived within the time frame promised. Phone call received when they were en route. Very competent installation of washing machine and fridge freezer. Very pleasant and knowledgeable delivery drivers.

Ordered a fridge freezer in stores and was told they could only deliver on a Wednesday to my area.
I took the day off to be at home and when the Fridge freezer turned up, it was damaged.
A massive dent on the side where it's clearly fallen over.
I told the driver to take it back as I wouldn't be accepting a damaged fridge freezer that we paid £1000 for which he took umbrage to and said would you take it with £200 knocked off...!
I repeated again, I would not be accepting a damaged fridge and they would need to return it.
I stated then that I couldn't take more time off and they would need to deliver on a weekend to be told they only deliver Wednesdays so I told them I want a full refund and I'll order elsewhere.
We phoned the CS helpline and was told we had to go into store to get a refund, so more inconvenience to us.
As we ordered through a blue light discount we were told they could only put it back onto a gift card as it's seen as fraud!?
I stated they would have to deliver at a weekend then as it's Currys fault that it arrived damaged and it's been a huge inconvenience to be told they couldn't.
The guy in store said they could deliver in the morning on a Wednesday and would try and make it the first delivery. Lo and behold it's still not arrived. My partner has had to take time off work and was hoping it would arrive so he could only use an hour or 2.
Absolutely disgusted with the service considering it's the fault of the shop. I will not be ordering anything from Currys and will go elsewhere for all future purchases.

Awful service in the store. Waiting 20 minutes To purchase an item, and when I questioned the assistant, was told I was in the wrong queue!
I had joined that queue as there were no assistants anywhere else.
So I left the item and went to a different store. Tbh it's not the first time the customer service has been awful in this shop.

The first sales assistant was very pushy toward a more expensive laptop (made for work purposes), when I did not require it. I later spoke to another salesman whom pointed me in the right direction. To which I purchased

Went to Chesterfield to purchase a Samsung mobile phone (£340). A sales guy looked at the stock and decided they had none in stock but would order one for delivery to home address. All was going well until he asked for payment via card. We had taken cash as we had already researched the cost on the website. I said we would happily pay cash at the desk but he seemed to lose interest straight away, saying it's an online order and has to be paid by card.

We went to Argos in Sainsburys and walked out with a better model ( 256GB instead of the 128GB) for the same money.
