I had a very positive experience with my recent purchase at Currys. The gentleman in the Dyson vacuum cleaner department was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and provided clear and useful information about the products. His professional and friendly approach made the whole purchasing experience much easier. Excellent customer service!

Very helpful salesman with knowledge

Terrible service from assistants hanging about in groups talking and given the wrong information also about the disposal of old electrical equipment.Having been told there would be a £20 charge by one assistant for the removal of our old television and freesat box to be then told by another assistant that Currys didn’t collect and dispose of old electrical equipment. We made it quite clear we needed a television that could be linked to a digital box and allow recordings of programmes and were sold a television that had Freely on which doesn’t allow linkage to a digital box. We were also kept waiting for 30 minutes while a new assistant was shown the ropes on how to process an order, when this should have been done in their own time. Our experience at Currys couldn’t have been worse.

Found the dryer we wanted, the lady price matched it with John Lewis so we saved approx £50, it was delivered 3 days later (on a Sunday!). Delivery men polite, caring and safely left it handy for me to plug in at my convenience.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smile. The lady who helped me Amreen was very friendly and professional.
Love my new iron, thank you☺️

Delivered on time. Explained things and took old item away.

We went to look for a new oven and washer with a lot to choose from. We were spoiled for choice and the sales staff were great and talked us through everything. We ordered a washer as the oven was out of stock for now.

The members of staff in Birstall were amazing, way better that Bradford or Guiseley (they just ignore you and chat to each other) Birstall was different walked straight in and was asked if I was seeking something in particular (like was the old days)
Lady at the till was great, told me what I needed to know and was rather knowledgeable.
Only downside (or not) if Currys had better stock keeping I wouldn't need to travel so far... but in the end for better customer service I might just go the distance.

Quick delivery from order and fast and efficient delivery of the product to our house and to fitting it in to its place

Didn’t have what I wanted in store, so had to order online, would have given 5 stars of i did t have to pay for delivery

customer service prior to purchase was appalling leaving us stood in store wondering where our item was, staff member trying to allocate staff to serve us, almost lost a sale

I placed an order online using my flexiplan (creation) so I can go collect same day as they had it in stock.

It was a birthday gift for my son a £1,799 gaming pc that was on offer and a saving of £300. Acre predator Orion 3000 p03-665, intel core i7, RTX5070, 1tb ssd, 16gb ram.

I received a confirmation email saying they have received my online order but I never got a ready to collect at your store email, so I went down, purchased a iPad 11 for my daughter as she didn’t know which tablet she wanted when we were looking online, after this I went to the collection desk asked if my order was ready to collect and they said the order number didn’t work and maybe it’s “creation” doing more security checks before releasing it, he said might be a few more hours.

So I went home, waited all night for a collection email - never got one. Phoned up curries online Sunday 6th and asked what is going on, so apparently it was a ghost order and it never went through, I said ok but it’s still pending on my flexiplan (creation) and temporarily holding the £1,799, I don’t have enough credit to go back in to store and get the pc on the account again, he said he will cancel it and could take up to 72hrs to go bank on. I said ok.

4 days later now Thursday 10th…the money is still pending on my flexiplan creation account!!! So I phoned up Currys again they gave me a number to speak to creation to find out on their end.

Phoned creation up, explained everything again about it being a ghost order, Currys has cancelled it on Sunday, 72hrs etc…. They said Currys haven’t cancelled the order and that’s why it’s still showing as pending! I was fuming inside, they said they have got all my details and emailed Currys to cancel the order and the money will be back within 5-7 working days!!!

It’s now Saturday 12th, I’ve looked on Currys website, the pc I was going to get has not only come off the offer of saving £300, it’s now gone up in price to £2,299!!!

This is absolutely disgusting and I’m taking my business elsewhere
