Had to wait a while for a free advisor but great service after we were engaged.

Vicky and Molly were super helpful as were Steve and Max.

Bought an LG TV

The service I received was great.
I reported my broken tv which still had about two years left of a five year warrantee and the tv was picked up two days later with a promise that if not fixed within a week,I will get vouchers to pick up a new one in currys.
Mine could not be fixed and as promised I got my vouchers on the eighth day and I have a brand new tv now.
I am chuffed.
Ofcourse it cost me a new five year warrantee on the new tv.

My visit was the result of an issue. My recently purchased Samsung TV was intermittently not working. I reported this in store a couple of weeks ago and was very unhappy with the service ☹️
I was told to contact Samsung who didn’t cover themselves in glory. As it was intermittent they didn’t want to know. Fortunately I was savvy enough to carry out a check while the TV was not working correctly. (I doubt if more than 10% of customers could do this) I was able to take a picture on my phone of the screen message that the TV was faulty. I called Samsung again with this update and they told me to visit the Currys store to arrange a replacements. I visited the store on Saturday and was met by Toby who was excellent. I told him Samsung had advised I could get him to get a replacement new TV. His manner and professionalism got me to agree to accept another model and even to pay more for it.

If he wasn’t such a helpful and personable young man I would not have accepted the solution. I had suffered a faulty product, not been treated well previously and was now being asked to accept another model which had no benefit to me over the previous one and why should I pay more, but I did.

I do hope you will feedback to Toby with my thanks and let his manager know, who was involved on my first visit and we ended up shouting at each other, while this time he decided not to engage with me. Wise decision.

Bought a desktop tower that I could not take home as it needed to be delivered the next day! I had my old pc with me to transfer files across (and happy to pay for this service) but they cannot do that until next Saturday so a week with no pc!! What is the point of having a store?? Honestly- very disappointed 😞
The staff were friendly and polite, no disrespect to them at all but really.. its not a big item and really I think should have been able to sort it there and then.

The assistant, Liam took my query, and went straight into action, found the items we needed, and helped to get them for us

The man that helped with our purchases was great. And both items 1 being a TV and the other being a fridge freezer were both in stock. We took the TV with us, and the fridge freezer could if we wanted have been delivered the next day.

I wanted a fridge/freezer & a washing machine and was confronted by 100s of items.
The Staff was extremely helpful in helping me choose.
He was very knowledgeable on all the products and sorted a financial plan which suited me !

Purchase went smoothly and when I realised I didn't need it, subsequent refund was just as smooth.

Fast & efficient service especially from Max who has just started working for Curry’s Sittingbourne

Great service friendly and efficient

30mile round trip made to select and buy a microwave, paid for its delivery next day. Salesperson entered delivery address, without the essential 1st 2 lines,as the Billing Address, and entered the Billing Address as the Delivery Address. Delivery and promised related phone call didn't happen. Discovered after hours of research via bots on line there is no way to communicate with the store, or get anyone else to. Another 30 mile round trip made to store on day 3, where advised and acted to cancel original order and reorder. Phone call and delivery on day 5 promised. Neither happened. Made attempt on day 6, on bank's advice, to secure resolution if possible with Currys on line. Told that only possible at cost of yet another 30 mile round trip to store, with no reasonable expectation of a successful and timely outcome given the shop's incompetent performance to date and the impossibility of communication other than face to face. Currys have taken and retained payment twice for the same item and made no visible attempt to deliver it. Payment in respect of the first order was taken several days after its cancellation. Bank is now taking action to recover the moneys that have improperly been taken from my account.
If it's so difficult to make a straightforward purchase, how easy do you think a complaint about a faulty item might be to resolve.

Ex demo brought, would not give a discount and once paid told they had no box either

It did what it said on the box which was exactly what I wanted

It was very easy to buy on line & collect from the shop staff have always been helpful to take my purchase to my car.
They are not very old so good to see they care.

Molly and Lawrence the two people we dealt with went above and beyond the service we would expect especially Molly who made a special trip to your Canterbury store to pick up a bracket we needed

Very efficient and friendly staff.

Young man very helpful,informative and friendly service. Next day delivery as well.
