Great customer service with a knowledgeable member of staff.

The guy who served my at the till was exceptionally helpful, friendly and polite - he genuinely did his very best to ensure both the products I was buying and the service I received were the best they could be.

When there was an issue with the till (it froze after I paid and would not print a receipt), he was calm, reassuring and sorted the issue out as quickly as possible, whilst also checking in with customers waiting behind me to update them.

Terrible experience with Curry’s Business Lakeside. I ordered a soundbar for collection, when I came to collect it it had been sold to another customer. I had to wait over a week for them to locate it and again had to come in store again to collect it after them not responding to my emails. The manager agreed as a goodwill gesture to sort out the soundbar installation for free but on the weekend I was again made to pay for the installation of the soundbar. Overall terrible level of service and I am very dissatisfied.

Item didn’t arrive ontime. I called customer service to confirm item was in the store and was told yes it is ready to collect! I then had to wait 20mins before I was served to be told the item wasn’t there!!!.
I then asked about purchasing one from the shop to be told someone would be with me only to wait another 10mins before walking out of the store.
A complete and utter shambles

I was a regular Currys customer, buying 6 items in the last 12 months alone, but after this experience I will never buy from Currys again.

My laptop developed a fault and 8 weeks later I am still without it and have no resolution.

Currys have had my laptop throughout this period. Store staff made promises to call me back which were never followed through. Customer service calls resulted in being passed around in circles, and my written complaints received generic, robotic responses that failed to address the actual issues raised.

To make matters worse, rather than replacing my faulty laptop with a like-for-like or better equivalent, Currys have repeatedly tried to fob me off with a refund of the original £749 purchase price. The problem is that an equivalent laptop now costs around £200 more, meaning their proposed “resolution” leaves me out of pocket simply because they have failed to resolve the fault promptly.

I have now had to raise a Section 75 claim with my finance provider, who are investigating the matter because Currys have failed to resolve it.

This has been an absolute lesson in customer service: Currys are happy to take your money, but when something goes wrong, don't expect anyone to take ownership.

8 weeks without my laptop, endless circular conversations, broken promises and generic complaint responses.
I was a loyal customer. I won't be again.

To be clear they do not even deserve a 1 star review. AVOID!

Thurrock customer services today, absolute joke! All staff moaning! All asking eachother for help because nobody knew what they were doing! I was front of the queue for half an hour!

Alex, was extremely helpful and patient with us. He understood that we were not particularly knowledgeable when it came to modern technology and talked us through the different alternatives.

The team at Thurrock Lakeside were exceptionally professional and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. Jermone, whom I believe is the store manager, went above and beyond to support me and my daughter in choosing the right laptop for her A‑levels and future university studies.

He took the time to understand her needs, explain the options clearly, and guide us toward the product and plan that would suit her best. His knowledge, patience, and commitment to excellent customer service made the whole experience easy and reassuring. We were both extremely impressed and grateful for his support.

Emmy at Lakeside Retail Park outlet is a wonderful staff. He is patient and has thorough knowledge of the products and able to demonstrate.
He supported us with some purchases recently, we had gone to the outlet for fact checking as we are not sure but ended up with our purchases instantly.
We'll return because of him.

Terrible service - waited over 20 minutes to pay at checkout. No body there to serve lengthy queue of customers

I found the whole experience straightforward from ordering on line to delivery and installation. Delivery was efficient and quick with a cheerful installer happy to answer questions. I love my new washing machine, it's fast, quiet and looks good too!

Over the years, I have developed an excellent relationship with the Business Team at my local Currys, who supply many of the white goods and electrical appliances we require for our properties.

I now know, and am known by, the whole team, and the level of service is consistently first class regardless of who I deal with. They understand our business, are knowledgeable about the products, and always make the process of purchasing and arranging what we need straightforward and efficient.

It is particularly reassuring as a business customer to have a local team that you can rely upon and who genuinely value the ongoing relationship.

Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff and a team I am always happy to return to. Highly recommended.

We purchased Samsung TV and soundbar, to be delivered, soundbar out of stock but available in other stores so we have to pick it up when it comes in, really not good enough, feel Curry's should have sourced it from whatever store it was available
