My wife chose this company after searching the net; I checked them out on Trustpilot and read the reviews, The next step was agreeing on the price and date, we changed our date a couple of times due to the Bluetits nesting; this was no problem, and we had the surveyor visit us, we agreed on the final details. On the day agreed ( 12.06.2024 ) Gary and Paul arrived in Cheltenham a little early, but that was no problem; they did a first-class job, showed me around it afterwards, they were rewarded with bacon sandwiches and a cup of tea, all the mess was cleaned up, all the rubbish removed, I paid the bill via internet banking, and my wife left a few good words on the company feedback. We cannot find any fault with this company and will recommend them always. I didn't need to go around with a broom after they had gone. Well done, men, and well done, Danmarque. Thank you.

Just had garage roof refurb because of asbestos, which I arranged on behalf of my mother who is in her 80s. They arrived on time and only took just over 3 hours to complete. However after they had left they had not tidied up as we thought they left a lot of mess inside the garage and we later discovered some old beams the had replaced were dumped behind the garage, instead of taking away or leaving where we could see them to remove ourselves. When we came to lock the doors of which were original on the garage would not lock because they were misaligned which was not like that before, we had to get neighbours help to lock it as we were unable to do it ourselves. I then called the company to see if they would come sort it, was told it happens a lot and to get a joiner to do it, I find this unacceptable having just paid £2000 they were just not interested. My mother is very upset about the way she has been treated by this company, not received good customer service at all.

I have had the misfortune of employing this firm to replace my garage roof for a metal sheet one.Firstly they sent a surveyor to look at the garage. I asked about foam inserts for the eaves and was told they would be installed with the new roof.These inserts need to be installed when you put the roofing sheets on. The ridge should also have inserts underneath. They came and installed the roof on 08/04/24. When the job was completed the installation team said there was no need for the inserts as there only to stop leaves and birds coming into the garage space. No mention of preventing draughts and water ingress. The installer then said they could leave me with some inserts if I wanted.Given the roof was already on and I had already paid for them to install them.I declined their offer. My garage door which is of an insulated sectional type was in the open position. The installer had asked for the remote fob for the door so they could control the door throughout the install. It took me 2 and a half hours to clean up after them(see the image of my bin of the rubble I cleaned up after they had left. I cleaned my garage from the back to the front. It wasn't until I came to close my garage door that I noticed it was covered in rubble. This has resulted in the dents and scratches to my door. Having contacted DANMARQUE LTD. I have just received a call from them. They refute my claim and more or less called me a liar. Their surveyor took numerous photographs including the door which was in pristine condition.Their response is it could have been caused after their visit. Which it could but i'm not a liar. Their negligence will cost me hundreds of pounds to rectify. See Google reviews for photos.

Our 20 year old Compton Garage roof was cracking and had a couple of holes in so we bit the bullet and went with DanMarque.

£3k for a 20ft x 16ft complete garage roof replacement + facias and guttering so not cheap but we are so pleased with the result.

Guys were onsite before 8a.m but apparently couldn't start until then due to noise regs......but after 8 they cracked on and were done by lunchtime.

Old roof removed and disposed of, new roof in place. They even did some extra work on one of the guttering downpipes which feeds a waterbutt to ensure it all worked perfectly.

I'd recommend these guys to everyone.

Team F, Carl and Max from Danmarque Garages. Arrived today to change the garage roof and the side door on the garage.
They were very professional explaining everything they were doing, they made a alteration with the fascia above the side door. Carl explaining what was needed for a better fitting Which looks really good. When the work was completed they cleaned up and I was shown the completed job finished. I would recommend Danmarque Garages to anyone thinking of updating their garage.

They were fantastic, they came when they said they were coming(the men were brill, very pleasant, hard working, very quick and we were extremely pleased with the finished job). We would recommend this company to anyone it has been a pleasurable experience from our first phone call until the finished result. A big thank you to all at Danmarque Garages

Very professional and efficient from initial consultation to completion.
Having been messed around for about a year by local companies we contacted a few national companies and couldn't be more happy with the end results.
We were advised upfront regarding the timescale from original communication through to survey and work date completion, the process took a couple of months from first communication.
Efficiently carried out everyone arrived when they said they would and we couldn't be happier.
No up front payment and the estimate given at the beginning of the process was exactly what we paid.
Very happy customer.

This company messed me around for months, eight weeks from date of quote to coming out for a survey, then trying to receive a final price was a task, finally their company ambassador Chris, Told me to chill out and the quote will come when their ready, this guy is definitely in the wrong job, customer satisfaction and politeness is definitely not his strength
However I found another company much cheaper and organised , no one wants to give money too rude people

I simply cannot fault Danmarque's work ethic.
They deliver on what they promise with a smile on their face at a competitive rate.

Asbestos garage roof replaced by charlie and Carl team G,they did an excellent job, very professional both worked well together, highly recommend the company.

I decided to have a full refurb of my garage and am very pleased with the end result. Team G - Charlie and Carl - worked flat out from start to finish. They were polite and friendly and easy to get on with. They did a great job and left no mess at all. Would highly recommend them.

I was disappointed with this company for several reasons. We approached for a quote for our asbestos garage roof which is attached to the neighbours. We asked for a quote for our own roof and a combined quote with the neighbours. When Danmarque arrived for a second survey, they contacted our neighbours and were interacting with them instead of us when we were the ones who made the initial contact. They sent an email through to the neighbours and expected the neighbours to communicate the agreements to us. Very unprofessional and unbusinesslike. We did not receive confirmation emails until I demanded them from the company. In the end, the neighbours backed out. I believed our agreement was for the our own garage roof and the fascia at the back. When the work was carried out, I was not happy with the quality of the work and they did not install the fascia along the back facing our garden. There were many misalignments and the front fascia has a huge gap between the garage wall and the fascia. It also did not align with the neighbours. When I emailed to complain about the quality and the fact they didn't complete the back wall, the owner said I was lying and was shouting at me on the phone. To be fair, I shouted back because these people are inherent misogynists. They do not know how to handle customers and I do not believe their work is top quality. I got a lot of excuses from the owner who said as far as he was concerned the work was good and he gave us a discount of £150 out of the goodness of his heart (his actual words). Even though I disagreed with his assessment. I felt bullied and unheard. There are better companies out there to deal with. These people need serious customer care training and learn how to manage dissatisfied customers.

Team G Charlie and Matt remove old garage roof and replace it with a new one they were very polite helpful and did an excellent job would recommend them to anyone needing a new garage roof

Excellent work all round, was quoted two days for a full redo of my garage including roof, door, side door and window - but it took just over 4 hours to get everything done. Matt and Charlie were both very helpful, explained everything they had done and why they had done it, making sure I understood everything. They also left the place cleaner than they found it, taking away all of the rubbish/scrap. Would recommend these guys to anyone, could not be happier.

Charlie and Matt (Team G) were incredible and extremely professional. They both worked tirelessly all day to finish the refurbishment to a very high standard. We couldn't be more delighted and would recommend them highly to anyone else.

Great if you want to waste months whilst they come up with excuses as to why they can't start. We removed all the blockers for them so that they had no excuses left - they then turned northern on us. Just say if you don't want the work then we can move on yeah?

I would just like to say thank you for excellent job well done replacing my garage roof.
Ian & Charlie were outstanding fitters. So polite and tidy, they are a credit to the company.

I asked this company to give me a quote in August 2020, they came out and quoted me! They gave me a date in November 2020 which was not good for me and was looking early 2021 due to being out the country for few months. The pandemic started, things got delayed and was ready to book this year. I have been emailing for the past week for amendments as wanted Roller garage door ( 1k ) more then the orginal quote. Was all ready to book and got a reply from this Chris saying-

" the fact you asked at such a late stage is upsetting to us. We have bent over backwards for this project, we have already invested time and money into this and we are not prepared to go any further. As such we are withdrawing our quotation and will be proceeding no further with your project. This is not open to debate.

'Late stage' , I wasn't asking you to install in a few days Chris and you saying ' you bent over backwards for this project' thats an absulate insult as all you did was provide a quote just like anybody else would' I wouldn't call that ' bending over backwards'. Its unprofessional of you to say that to say the least. I wouldn't do business with you or suggest anyone would as giving a quote seems to be 'bending over backwards' for you and would suggest this ' Chris' is in the wrong job. Not done the company any favours turning business down during the times when everyone is looking for ££££££. Poor service, poor customer service and poor business sense!!!

From 1st phone call to completed installation, everything carried out by very professional team. My 40 year old garage had asbestos roof and garage door replaced. Now looks like new garage. Special mention to installation team, Jim and his mate. Arrived on time and did a great job, leaving the site very clean and tidy and kept me updated with what they intended to do. If you need a garage refurb this is the company to use.
