Daryl Flood Moving & Storage レビュー 

I contacted Daryl Flood and two other major moving companies to quote my move from Texas to Tennessee. My estimator was on time, professional and personable. He asked a lot more questions than the other companies representatives asked and he provided in-depth and clear answers to my questions. My quote was delivered in the Christmas - New Year holiday week and even though my estimator left for vacation after emailing my quote, he still answered my text messages and even called me to clarify one of the questions that I asked.

Once I e-signed the documents, my estimator sent me the contact information for the "box-lady". Based on the size of the load I was able to go get the required number of boxes. This included the dish-pack and mirror pack boxes. All sizes. No charge. An absolute plus!! I had elected to pack myself because I had plenty of time to do it. Accordingly, I understood that anything in the boxes that might be broken would be my own fault.

My Operations contact stayed in touch with me during the weeks from e-signing to Delivery Day. I received multiple "How's it going?" emails from her, checking to make sure that everything was going as scheduled. When I did have questions, she was super quick to respond. She called me the day before Load Day, she called me the day of Load Day. She called me between Load Day and Delivery Day. She called me the day before Delivery Day. She called me on Delivery Day. I could not have asked for a better contact. She made me feel valued and important.

My driver called the day before Load Day. We set the arrival time and he was right there, right on time in a spotless rig. The tractor was spotless and the trailer was spotless - inside and out. This is an important point for me. First impression is a clean and well maintained rig. If a company cares enough to keep their equipment clean, then I believe that they will handle my belongings with care and concern.

The driver and I did a walk through the house and then the crew put down the floor protection and put up the door jamb protection. Great care was taken to make sure that there would be no damage to my house.

The driver performed the inventory of all of my boxes and furniture and thoroughly explained the numbering system and how it would work to make sure all of my belongings were accounted for on the other end.

The loading crew was fast but careful, I guess efficient would be the best word. I looked inside the trailer several times during the loading process and I could tell that this was not the first rodeo for these fellas. My belongings were well arranged, Top Load items were, indeed, top loaded. Everything was arranged in a manner that clearly showed that the load would not shift and everything was well protected. The use of the moving blankets was fantastic. They used as many as they had to use in order to make sure that my belongings were protected.

The driver and I did a final walk through to ensure that everything was loaded. We discussed the delivery date and then he pulled away to go get his next load.

Loading was done on a Tuesday and delivery was scheduled for Saturday. The driver called the day before Delivery Day to let me know that the trip had gone well and we arranged a time for early morning delivery. Once again, a spotless rig pulled up right on time!

As with Loading Day, we did a walk through of the house and floor and wall protections were put in place.

The off-loading process and checking off the numbered items on the list was actually kind of fun.

As with Loading Day, all of my belongings were handled with care and caution on Delivery Day. During the number checking process I did happen to miss 3 boxes, however, the driver referred to his master list, which identified the destination room and size of the box, and we located the items I missed very quickly.

The Delivery Day took slightly longer than Loading Day because the items had to be placed in separate rooms, but still, everything was properly placed and my new house was not damaged in any way.

As I was unpacking, there was not a single item broken. This is a bit of a testament to my packing, but an even bigger testament to the care with which my belongings were handled. Nothing broken and no missing items - it just can't get any better than that.

This was a move to my retirement location, so I don't plan to ever move again, however, if the fates ever determine that I must move, I will NOT do so unless I can have Daryl Flood handle it from start to finish.

In my opinion, Daryl Flood is the epitome of perfection that all other moving companies should strive to achieve. It was just a 5-star operation from start to finish. I’d rate it 10 stars if I could.

Relocation is a very stressful event and all of Daryl Flood's staff made the process much easier with their professionalism, attention to details, and putting my families needs first.

We were relocated from Kansas to Illinois the week after Christmas 2016 for my work. This was an incredibly hectic time given the holiday schedule with kids and a birthday for one of our daughters. Dave and Tracy from Daryl Flood and the team they hired were exactly what we needed. They were efficient, clean and careful. They came in on time, kept conversations kid and family friendly, and kept my wife and I updated on their progress. They met the demands of the schedule which permitted us to keep our deadlines for transition. It was a positive experience and alleviated the majority of the stress we were feeling leading up to the relocation. Thank you! We have no reservations in recommending your services to anyone.

My family and I would like to thank you for a seamless and professional move from Joplin to McKinney. Guy brought to bear all of his 39 years of experience and anticipated every concern and had an idea to resolve each one. He is also a kind gentleman and capable team leader. Jana was always available to keep the move dates in focus and had a wonderful service orientation.

I have had a long discourse with the Daryl Flood Co so this is not new to them.

The pick up was fine - the crew did a great job. No issues there.

The drop off was the issue. we thought we were getting an unpacking service as well, as most companies offer and what had been our experience with Atlas in our first move. In addition, our delivery date was missed because the date was not registered (or a glitch as we were told) correctly. Then the drop off crew did a poor job in unpacking and leaving boxes everywhere. I had sent pictures to Daryl Flood about this already with little response. I felt that some reimbursement should have been done since this was not up to our expectations, nor to what was the standard for most moves. But I am only the customer.

In general most staff did a very good job and seemed very careful with our belongings.
A lot of items had minor damage (such as dishes that were not packed well (there was paper between every 3rd or so item)). When they sent information to do a claim there wasn't enough items to make a claim but once everything was unpacked there were. Encouraged us not to unpack everything but then had only two weeks to file a claim which we paid a lot for insurance. My recommendation would be to get them to unpack everything since it is easy to lose things in all the paper. Also, tape items together (that come apart) because it is difficult to find things that go together but might be in different boxes or get lost in all the paper. E.g. They took apart all items with batteries (and we are now missing battery covers on some items and have extra covers for items we cannot determine what they are for).

During my relocation from Houston (TX) to Milan (Italy) I had an excellent communication flow with Daryl and an equally excellent service for packing and unpacking. The reason for not giving a 5stars rating is due to the delay on the arrival of container at the departure date that caused a double handling of the goods. Daryl didn't charge for that, however at the delivery point the items were in the reverse order. All the small boxes came out of the container first and the big items last creating some logistic issues at destination. However I would have no reservation in recommending Daryl to a friend

These guys worked so hard for us. One of the desks was a monster, and it was mine. They were determined to get it into the office suite and went way above the call of duty. They were truly my heros that day! Fantastic company. Everyone has been great, nice and professional. Highly recommend them.

Don and Cindy Hoffman made my move so easy. They were very caring and professional. I will recommend the.company and drivers to my family and friends.

Our estimator Jodie was excellent and helpful throughout the entire process she provided a competitive quote and the driver was very accommodating.
The people who came to pack were also friendly and professional. They package very well and met our pickup and delivery times perfectly.

From the time we contacted Daryl Flood to the day we arrived at our new home they could not have made it any easier for our move. All the people involved from the estimation to the packing to the unloading it could not have gone any easier. I would highly recommend Daryl Flood to anyone making a move.

Most damaged items we have ever experienced.

Sean's crew was very professional and experienced. My wife and I both thought that they worked like a fine oiled machine - efficient and careful of our things.

Great service from Daryl Flood. Trey was very patient and available. Kathy and Amy from customer service were super sweet. Even the guys who handled delivering my car were great. Everyone made the whole process so easy. I would definitely use them again!

They did a great job moving our belongings across the state and were very professional.

This was a positive experience for us. Wish the unpackiing (doing ourselves) was as easy and rapid.

Everything went well. Movers arrived on time, packed and loaded efficiently and arrived at destination on time.

My household was packed with expert care and arrived at my new location in perfect condition. Nothing was broken or misplaced. A move is only as good as the driver and my driver was amazing. He followed up several days later to make sure that everything was in order. I highly recommend Daryl Flood Relocation for anyone's move.
