Great price, great move, very satisfied

The staff at Daryl Flood is outstanding. I had to change my move several times due to issues with the close of our house. They were always friendly and provided outstanding service.

The movers and drivers were great left me with an extra headboard that isn't mine

Moving is a stressful experience but Rudy, Sam and Hector made it easy. They were efficient, clean and quick. They were also very friendly. We put most of our items in storage but we tagged some items to pull and they happily made sure we had them all. I would highly recommend them. Kathy from Mayflower also checked in with us several times to make sure all was going well and as expected.

Repackaging of our already packed and labeled boxes made the unpacking difficult.

My experience was very positive and I would use Daryl Floods services again!

While the move went well, there was significant damage to my loveseat. A claim was filed the day after the delivery and, 30 days later, there has been no inspection of the damage and no attempt to settle the claim. Very disappointing, as, to this point, we were very satisfied with the level of customer service.

THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. STAY AWAY.

Delivered my fridge and stove top which both work fine. During the delivery they stained my carpet from either something on their shoes or on the wheels of their dolly. After the fridge was completely setup the delivery guy brought the slip to me in my office confirm the delivery which I signed. I work from home and was on a conference call. After my conference call walked into my living room and noticed stains all over my carpet. I contact Daryl Flood and since I signed the paper they told me there is nothing they can do.

Outstanding moving company. Moved my son's family from Texas to Nevada. Movers were prompt, efficient and very kind. One gentleman even opened packed boxes to find a missing pink teddy bear.

A++ experience with Daryl Flood Movers

Daryl Flood staff arrived to very carefully and thoroughly pack all my belongings for a move to Hawaii. They were very professional and careful. The goods were in storage in their warehouse for 15 months and then trucked and shipped to Kauai, Hawaii. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Thanks to their wonderful team!

Family and I moved quite a bit in the past years (between continents and within countries basically about every 2 years for the last 10 years or so) but this was truly an exceptional experience.
It started with their Coordinator getting in touch from day one my company had given them the contract keeping me informed what would go to happen and taking honest interest that everything was working out perfect. During the move I got contacted by her on every day at least once making sure their crew did the exceptional job they were indeed doing.
It continued by them having arranged for a professional subcontractor taking care of putting furniture down and putting it up again at the destination. A service I did not have with other companies to that level ever in the past. And something that really helped - otherwise we had closets being assembled completely and dangerously wrong, left screws, furniture treated really rough hardly surviving a 2nd or 3rd move. OK, lots is Ikea, but still! Not this time. Everything very professional, kind and SMART folks, that knew what they were doing. Labeling stuff to make it easy to put together on the receiving side and all the good stuff! Taking a minute to think extra before using plain old "force" to getting things apart / or together on the other end.
The packers were doing an exceptional job in checking on fragile and sensitive items first, asking twice rather than making potentially poor decisions and taking real care of everything. And they took it by heart to keep me happy and made sure I’d check twice on them that nothing would be lost or forgotten. Advising on "what about this, should we maybe put this together with that - or near it? What shall I put on the box for these things you can easily find it, etc. Everyone just treating things like their own! Grouping stuff logically to make unpacking a breeze and putting a description on the boxes that made even finding individual items pretty easy - we certainly did not have that to this level in the past either!
At the destination I guess I was not always easy - asking them again and again to relocate stuff again when I realized - eh, not the best spot; hm, maybe better there, etc. But rather than giving me a face they’d even add suggestions of their own that I appreciated like - "why not try this", "have you considered that"…
Last but not least everyone was extremely professional, perfectly mannered – sorry having to even mention something like that but again we had our experiences... - and again THINKING. Treating items and properties on each side of the move as their own!! With some of the previous companies I thought that many of these values might not have been a necessary qualification for their staff but rather a “let’s get this over with, here are your boxes and stuff. What, never seen such cupboard but we put it together like this. Some screws are still here, didn’t know where to put them but hey…”.
Maybe we just had some really poor performers in the past but nothing the like with the Daryl Flood guys and their sub contractors.
Again, our family did some moves and went up a steep learning curve from the first time but with guys like this nothing could have gone wrong. It simply builds trust and puts you at ease to not only having to imagine and telling yourself that they must have done this a couple of times. No, to feel just everywhere and any time that they've done this', they definitely know what they are doing and they share my interest in getting things from A to B in one piece and in shape AND realizing things need to get unpacked in a quick and easy way. Moving is always a bit of a stressful time but all this made it sooooo much easier!
It's not often I can say I am 100% satisfied and not sure what my company had to pay Daryl Flood compared to anyone they had hired in the past. But I'm sure it must have been a competitive offer to get them the job awarded. But no matter what it was worth every cent to keep distraction from my real job at an absolute minimum!
Maybe Kim, Arthur, Hubert and Raul were just heading this exceptional group of people but then I would think we could not have been that lucky. I'm sure there must be company values going with it. If not I seriously hope they'll put these guys out to train their other crews to get to the same level. In my company everything is about continuous improvement, lean and Toyota production system. So these would be the kind of guys you need to drive this continuous improvement, share best practice and drive performance up every day.

Daryl Flood dependable now what does that mean? I read on your website what it meant to Daryl Flood, and now I will tell you what it means to me.

At Daryl Flood each team member does their job and then makes sure that they reinforce the other members if there is a need. I get Daryl Flood dependable which to me is every one working together to be sure there are no gaps.

Our project, Rest Haven Funeral Home, Rockwall, Texas, was a perfect example. From the start with Mark and Irma, to the middle with Jason and Michael, to the end with the installation team that was on the jobsite Friday, every task was done, even overlapped because the DF team knows how persnickety I am.

Our owner told me if the installation team he had on Friday could travel with him and do all of our installs, that it would make his life easier and clients happier. I don't have the names, but please pass on to people who Friday’s delivery/install.

From start to finish, I can't commend Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics enough! The gentlemen who packed up my belongings where courteous, efficient and did a great job! I have not found one single item that was broken. The crew that loaded the van were also great. They were great in wrapping furniture to protect it. All the guys were polite. They were also honest. I had an envelope that I had forgotten about that had about $500 in it, and they brought it to me. They could have very easily pocketed the money, and I never would have missed it!

Troy Box is the best move captain I've ever experienced. The teams on both ends -- Lorenzo, Pedro and Marlin in Texas and Fred, Anders and Brandon in California -- went beyond anything I ever expected to make sure our belongings were safely moved and that we were happy. We will definitely call Fred and his team for our pending local move. Every individual was committed to customer satisfaction and ease. I honestly cannot rave enough!
