Slow. Erroneous. Poor communication. No urgency. Couldn’t even exchange until last minute when same firm represented both sides. Never heard from a real solicitor: trainees and paralegals. Passed from person to person. Avoid.

My mom sold her house but the solicitors will not give her the paperwork and invoice
I have phoned and sent emails but they refusd to speak to me regarding this although they have written consent. My mom is 84 yrs old and in poor health
Absolutely disgraceful service

Was pressured into using these to buy my new home. our experience with the advisor hasn't been great randomly getting assigned different people and no response.

Now haven't had a response from these for almost a month. Any email we send gets ignored even our advisor doesn't get a response. Amount of money these charge you would think even a sorry no update email would do. Nothing is clear and only time they respond is asking for money. Charged us £100 to send a letter we could have sent ourselves.

Wish we never got an advisor or went with these and instead searched around our local town.

Update - paid nearly £5500 in fees and barely even get answers unless our advisor emails them. Wanted over £250 to speed up the completion by 3 days..

Please find another company. When I bought my property in 2023, everything seemed to go ok. The problem with Davison's started 3 years after I had purchased my property. I chose to put my property on the Market on April 7th 2026, I instructed a Solicitor recommended by my Estate Agent, on the 28th April I was told by my current solicitor that the Title Deeds and the Land Registry were still in the previous owners name. I contacted Davison's immediately. I told the lady my issue, she went away and came back to tell me it's only been a year and there's a delay with Land registry. I explained it hadn't been a year it had been Three years. My house is currently Sold subject to contract so this needed to be dealt with urgently. Since then I've been messed about, I chased Land Registry myself, as every time I rang Davison's, they just emailed me back stating there was nothing they could do. Land registry then told me they were waiting on Davison's, they should have sent over two pieces of information and had only sent one. Another 10 days to wait. On 26th June I found out Land Registry had updated and I was now on the Land Registry and Title Deeds, Davison's updated me on 7th July. It's been a truly awful experience, I almost lost the buyer of my property. Davison's did not care and were not bothered about how the situation impacted me. I paid them in July 2023, my case should have gone to the completions Department within the same period so why did this company make my life so very difficult and stressful. I won't be recommending them to anyone, I’ll be urging people to stay away. If I could give you advice, make sure you go back to the Solicitor and check the completions Department have completed their job, so you don't end up in a situation like me. I would have given a zero if it were possible.

Ive read “others reviews” & seen they used the word “Liar” frequently so no need for me to write one.
In short Davison’s did not deliver the service expected by a country mile & have shown very little customer support whatsoever. I’ve inc my case ref as no doubt the response will be ‘we can’t trace you’…but here’s the rub “others” 1 star reviews are clear in content because they’ve also experienced the same treatment I did.
Be sure Davisons complaints can tailor any responses but the outcome will be the same.

Davison's really helped us with our house purchase. From the start to the end they communicated with us providing regular updates and keeping things moving.

Nathan especially is a credit to the company and handled our case very professionally.

Had a wonderful experience with Davisons Law taking on my complex shared ownership house selling case after my previous solicitor let me down.

Dan kept me updated on what was needed to progress the sale and called me however many times needed to push the case through to completion well on time. I've worked with several solicitors over the years and will definitely be using Davisons Law again for future needs.
