We have been with DBroberts for just under 4 years and couldn’t have asked for a better estate agency to rent with. They have truly looked after us, advising on any issues we have had and carrying out regular inspections to ensure we are happy with the property we lived at. They were quick and professional with both the tenancy start and end, and kept me informed with all the necessary steps that I needed to take. After meeting Bethany and Lisa they are both wonderful people and certainly take pride in their work and most importantly made our first renting experience wonderful.

Nicole Stiller has been dealing with my rented property since I can remember and she has always managed to do what she can to sort through any issues we have faced. I just wanted to say thank you and its been a great experience from start to finish. Nicole has always remained professional and polite in any dealings I have had with her.

Sue was great from start to finish. The purchase of our dream home was elongated due to an extensive chain but Sue kept us up to date and chased updates when needed. We are now in our forever home and couldn’t be happier.

We put our beautiful home on the market January 2025 with DBRoberts Wolverhampton sadly we made the wrong decision to entrust this shop to sell our property.
From the very beginning the red flags were showing but because of a personal reason with Kate we decided to move forward….. big mistake.
The communication was very poor regarding viewing and feedback on the viewings as most times we had to contact them. We decided to go into the shop to speak with Jay the office manager and she assured us she would talk to her team and we would have more contact. The radio silence we felt after this visit was so bad we got in touch with there head office. We spoke with Matt who was very understanding and positive about moving forward. Big mistake for us as things went down hill after that call.
When we signed up with them we were assured that anyone viewing our home would be vetted 100% this never happened. After our call with Matt the viewings started again one after the other and until one women informed us she only put her application into the mortgage company that day and was going to be one of three sisters arranging a mortgage between them. I contacted the office and the response was they weren’t aware of that.
Sam and Josh did the best that they could but I put everything on the manager Jay as she should have done more to work with us instead she decided to ignore us. In the end our house sold at a reduced price but after 8 months we just wanted to get out.

My advice is to do your research, go with your gut and read the reviews. We had more support from Sabi the manager at Your Move in Perton that we did from the appalling service from the manager in Wolverhampton. We are still waiting on a call from her thanking us for using her shop to sell her home instead she got Sam to do this. How very unprofessional.

Very friendly and helpful service, property sold in super quick time

Before contracting with DP Roberts, Wolverhampton, we had used a few estate agents; some were good, while others we found to be impolite. This was a letdown, as we felt they were not genuinely interested in our requests. Or we did not fit their clientele.

However, DB Roberts fell into our laps; we had not approached them before, but I must say. From my initial phone call to selling my house and purchasing a new home, they showed willingness and compassion for our needs and wants.

The staff and management were excellent, showing true form. The customer service was also wonderful, and they were always available if we ever needed advice. Josh, who dealt with our requests, was great, as was the whole team.

Bethany and the team have made being a landlord pretty straight forward. I dont have you do anything and often i forget im a landlord.

Our experience with DB Roberts Stafford has been deeply disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. We entrusted them with the sale of our elderly parents’ family home and ultimately had to end the contract due to repeated failings and a complete loss of confidence in their service.
One of the main issues was poor communication. We were told to expect biweekly updates on marketing and feedback — over the entire time the property was live, we received just two updates, both only after we chased them. When we emailed with questions or concerns, replies often took days, even when multiple staff members were copied in. This shows a complete lack of urgency and professionalism.
There were also several basic administrative errors that we had to repeatedly follow up on. For example, the property was incorrectly listed as "link-detached" rather than "detached" — a correction that wasn’t made until the property had already been live for several weeks. We also had to follow up multiple times to get "NO UPWARD CHAIN" added to the listing.
Despite specifically requesting accompanied viewings (as our parents are elderly and uncomfortable conducting these themselves), they were left to manage two out of the three viewings on their own.
Just a few weeks after the property was listed, we were pushed to reduce the price. This suggests either the original valuation was wrong or there was a rush for a quick sale with minimal effort. Neither explanation inspired confidence.
After we ended the contract, DB Roberts assured us the property would be removed from all portals — it wasn’t. I had to chase this too. Similarly, the for-sale board was never collected as promised, and my elderly father had to remove it himself. Even more concerning, a viewing was scheduled after the contract had expired, which we understand is not legally permitted without a valid agreement in place.
In short, this was an awful experience, marked by poor communication, a lack of urgency, broken promises, and a general disregard for both our instructions and our elderly parents’ wellbeing. If you live in Stafford, perhaps your experience might differ — but if you're in one of the surrounding villages, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

absolute scammers, homeowners and buyers avoid at all costs. this estate agency takes money on the side from the people who they help buy the properties, they do not convey the higher offers to their clients, instead they would only forward the lower offers and one offer from the person who paid them on the side to secure the property, absolute joke. we had the highest offer on a property and were told that the customer chose somebody who deserved the property more than us even though there offer was lower than ours, poor old owner doesn't even know he got mugged by these scammers and lost a few thousand pounds.

Happily going ahead with a sale of our property thinking we had a sale with DB Roberts, who had sold the property we had offered on to another purchaser and not bothered informing us. Lack of communication and empathy. Left high and dry and devastated. In response to the reply below, you were informed that I had reduced my property by 5k in order that we could get a new seller, which happened. You told me that the seller ‘would be happy to wait a couple of weeks’. At no time were we informed that you had gone ahead with another buyer or I’d have kept my asking price the same.
