I have been coming to DelBar since their original location opened. For a restaurant whose parent location brags a Michelin star - the Alpharetta location should be ashamed of its customer service. Last Saturday, Feb 3, i ordered a pick up order, and was told order will be ready in 25 mins. Upon my arrival, the bartender could not locate my order in her system. After some time of searching she had manager involved, seems like the order was never sent in but no one notified me of that. 15 mins into STANDING at a crowded bar - no one still brought out my order and every bartender along with that manager avoided eye contact. I finally got one of the bartenders to check on my order, and was told “kitchen was working on it but there is no ETA”. ONE HOUR after my order was placed, several people came in, placed and picked up their orders, and and i asked several bartenders where was order, manager finally showed up. My food was brought out 1 hour and 6 minutes after i initially placed it. No one apologized, or admitted to the fact that my order was basically never sent through. After the manager handed me the food, he told me that i will be refunded half of the price. Refund was NEVER made.
I had family from out of town that just arrived and was waiting for the food. I stood for 45 mins waiting for my order. And was lied to by a manager!
I called back on Monday and explained the situation to manager on duty. The manager assured me that i will receive my refund before his shirt is over and will receive a text message notification. One week later - i still have not received anything.
#DelBar you should be ashamed of your customer service and need to train your staff. I regret ever spending time and money in your establishment.
Your parent location should be stripped off #MichelinStar for such poor way of handling your customers.
