I’ve been ordering from this company for decades. Before this whole review catastrophe. I’ve never, ever had any problems. I find it silly so many people have to be so critical of this stuff to essentially force a decision that bring them to bankruptcy. It breaks my heart. I don’t think that Amazon and Wayfair will have a better selection of gothic and morbidly beautiful decor than DT. I’ve bought countless pieces and not one complaint.

I ordered something which arrived not as pictured on the website. Toscano simply replied to just one of my several emails, and wrote: they put the wrong photos in the online ad for that product, so that is not what I was ordering!!! Since then, they have not even taken the photos off the webpage! It the photos are wrong, why leave then up?

They were having a super sale. Got some GREAT cast iron novelty items at a fantastic price. Shipping was unbelievably fast!!! Many of these reviews say shipping is problematic. Maybe my items were just small and packaged in a way that made them particularly shippable, but my box was packed great! I rarely review here but I was so pleased I felt compelled to recommend this company.

Let me start by stating I have been a customer for 20+ years and have spent thousands of dollars. I've bought indoor statues, outdoor statues and figurines and even furniture. The products were always well packaged and received in a timely fashion. If items were ever backordered, there was always communication. Backordered items would usually arrive within a month or so later. Here's my most recent experience...I ordered 3 items in July 2024. I received 1 of the items with a notification the other 2 were backordered. No time frame was given on packing slip. Fast forward to my weekly then monthly calls to the 800 # only to be told a specific date with no explanation and NEVER an apology. Mind you these items were to be given as Christmas gifts. Well today, January 17, 2025 was the last straw. When I spoke to a Guadalupe in customer service she said there was no information as to when I could expect the 2 missing items and there would be no further information available until April! No apology! When I said I will need to cancel the order she replied "OK" ... that's it! First of all, why advertise items in your catalogs and website when the items don't exist in your inventory. Secondly, where do you get the fictitious dates given each time I called? And lastly, you need to train your customer service representatives better. I used to work with your service bureau that printed your catalogs...I've even attended your holiday parties. I know the Stopka's... what the hell happened to their company? Tacky and shameful business practice now. I will no longer be a customer and will be throwing your catalogs in the trash when they arrive each month.

When I first made my order i knew the item was slightly back ordered and didn't mind waiting the two months it said it would take to get back to me. Many months go by and I still hear nothing. I reached out and they said the order got lost by the postal office. I asked why no one ever sent me a tracking number or let me know my package was missing. Toscano customer service told me it wasn't their problem. I still wanted it and had them re ship it.......now five months later I still do not have it. I have been waiting 10 months!!!!!!!!!! I called and received the rudest, most unprofessional service. I tried to canceled my order....which they said was too late to do. I will NEVER recommend to order from them again.

Product came damaged, called number provided to me in my order, couldn’t tell me when money could be refunded, couldn’t give me customer service support number, said they be in contact in a few days POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Last purchase with them!!!!!

I have ordered from Design Toscano for years. Never an issue.
2 years ago I bought their beautiful Dragonfly Tiffany lamps.
Came home from traveling (no one in house, no animals in house) lamp had broken away from stem and landed on light bulbs. Toscano has told me there’s nothing they can do. I will NEVER order from them again. These lamps were $400.00 a piece. Now I can sit back and wait for the other one to fall……

I would not recommend getting anything from this company if you are wanting to ship it overseas . I had to continually case them for a response they wouldn’t accept card card, western union transfer had to direct bank transfer which was as fine if it was communicated in the first place. Then I had to chase for 3 weeks if they received it very poor customer service. It took about 9 weeks from ordering contacting them weekly to chase where the order was at to receiving it. I would have ordered elsewhere had it not been a piece of art my dying sister wanted for her son who passed away before she knew he had it. This company really needs to work on communication and efficiency very poor.

Ny name is Steven Larry Kaye Esq. I am an attorney from Ri and the owner of 11Toscsno garden statues. About one month ago I received directly from. the company a large garden statue and the undelining material was distinctively different! I was told I would be charged $25 for the return I was charged $50 dollars! I tried to leave a, Google review after logging in but for some reason I was unable!

Ordered a statue on 10/07/2022, expected delivery 12/09/2022. 2 months later after having to pay $17 for shipping. Called them in January as I haven’t received the item or an update and they said its out of stock and I will get it March. Called again in May and they said the item got discontinued. They never let me know that the cancelled my order, yet they send ads in the mail every month.

Do not order anything from them. I bought two push plates. Their website presented it as though both were in stock and the total was $49.67. One came right away and I was charged $30.64 which included the shipping charge for BOTH. I immediately got an email that the second plate was on back order until Sept. Then, I got a postcard in the mail that said it would be Oct. It is now the week of Thanksgiving and I called and was told that there was nothing they could do. I don't have the match and we're going half a year! Ridiculous. I would have not ordered from them had I known they weren't in stock.

This is not the Toscano we dealt with in the past. Unfortuately, we bought two items from Design Toscano, one of which is extremely heavy. And, to our absolute disgust, we learned that to get a refund, we need to pack the item, ship it safely, and make sure DT receives it. On OUR dime. Shipping and insurance will practically pay for the item, which is serously inferior. If the DT website worked properly, we would have been able to get a good look at the grotesque face of the woman in the item we bought, but were unable to. We have both taught the arts for CalState for forty-some years, and always warn students to look at the face first! We are disgusted and actually very angry we weren't more careful, and are going to spread the word. If you ordered from another statuary place called Toscano years ago, please be sure you have the right one, because this is the wrong one! The owners should be ashamed of themselves!

I was excited to receive my fountain until I opened the box. You unpack it all only to find that the quality is pitifully poor. Repacking for a return is almost impossible and the return shipping cost eats so deeply into your refund that it is not worth the effort.
i highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. Do not be deceived by the pretty pictures.

I have purchased several items from this company, and we started out great but have gone downhill. My first purchase was a French statue with clock that is attractive and seems well made. I then bought a French style barrel side table, which I like but recently found had a damage on the drawer front. The company offered me a $75 credit, which I accepted as there was no other option offered. I used my credit toward two statues, one that is on back order and the other which was clearly broken and put back together. They agreed to issue a refund. Today I saw a refund for $33 appear, but the price of the statue was $65. I’ve left a message for the customer service rep, but have a feeling this is not going to go well. Given this experience and the reviews I’m seeing, I think my relationship with Design Toscano will be a brief one.

I purchased several items from this company. I recently purchased a dolphin fountain, I did not buy the pump from them but the dolphin came with a hose inside of its head. I did paint the outside gray to make it more realistic, but the inside hose dry rotted after just 3 months, it it is a fountain unfortunately, you have to crack the head to replace the hose. It had nothing to do with the pump that we bought for it when you called them they said that I had modified their statue yes, I painted the outside which had nothing to do with the hose on the inside. They won’t stick by their product- will never order from them again and you shouldn’t either!

Bad company, poor craftsmanship. We bought the Rose Table Lamp, two of them. the glass parts do not sit well in the brass parts. The chimney does not fit over the required bulb. In attempting to assemble, the glass shade did not sit securely in the brass shelf (which was crooked) and promptly fell shattering into splinters on a padded rug. Don't buy this garbage.

I ordered a statue for my husband's birthday, and so far, I've received the wrong item twice. Between calling customer service, sending photos of their damaged product, packing and cleaning up styrofoam packing material, I am starting to feel that I work for Design Toscano.
