Great customer service from Sweeda at DFS Brentford
We had a very pleasant experience at the DFS Brentford thanks to lovely Sweeda and ended up ordering a sofa. Sweeda was amazing patiently guiding us around and answering in great detail every single question we had. We helped ourselves to delicious hot chocolate and now look forward to our new piece of furniture. We are also grateful to the manager for his kind assistance. Lengthy , pointless delivery process
The purchase at the store was very smooth and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
On the other hand the fact that we couldn’t get the sofa directly despite it being ex showroom and living down the door, had to go through a lengthy delivery process was poor. The fact that we had to pay for the delivery and have to wait for what seems no reason 3-4 weeks sounds ridiculous. Definitely wouldn’t recommend the delivery. (Still yet to receive it).

As you have purchased ex-display goods, it will continue to stay in the showroom until all stock within the store (display goods) has been changed over. We do this regularly so the newest models continue to be shown for our customers hence the within 4 week delivery time on these items. We apologise if this was not made clear when you placed the order.

I am very disappointed in the quality…
I am very disappointed in the quality of my sofas as the all four legs on each sofa have become loose and a couple broken off completely. I contacted customer services who advised me that it will take 12 weeks to receive my new replacement feet which I need to fit myself. DFS 15 year warranty only covers the frame and not the feet which seems pointless. I will never purchase my sofas or other products from DFS in the future and would not recommend this company for your furniture needs. My other family members have suggested using furniture village instead as they have had great experiences

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We do appreciate any feedback and I am really sorry to hear you’re not happy with the furniture or the service received. I can completely understand your concerns if the goods received were not as anticipated, this is very disappointing to hear.
Unfortunately all our furniture does come with a warranty period and an expiration date, this is the same practice for all our customers and further information about this is included on our website. Here is a link in case you do require further information: https://www.dfs.co.uk/help/terms-and-conditions, the warranty section is under 13).
We are able to arrange chargeable parts and I can see these have already been ordered with the relevant department for you. Once these have been received they will be posted out to you via Parcel Force.
