The sales assistant was knowledgeable, attentive and efficient. Really good at her job. Everything was easy and step by step. We are excited about the product!!

Both Curtis and Marcus took time to be sure what I really wanted and were even able to lend me a colour swatch as they had a spare. It would have been very difficult without that.
My first experience of shopping at DFS and was very pleased.

Having read some poor reviews for the Exeter branch we were a little apprehensive about using it, we found the store clean and up together with friendly staff who while being helpful and welcoming were not pushy, Matt in particular stood out, he has worked 20 years at the store and this experience shows.
We are sure the items purchased will be as described and that delivery is smooth.

Every time we have come Into the store the service has been exceptional.

We didn't catch the chaps name but he was a delight and I hope you can ask in the store to identify him. My wife and I came in to the Exeter store near IKEA as we'd tried out the Patterdale a few times and love it but werent sure if it would fit through the door on our new house. He put us at ease immediately and explained how it would be delivered and then we sat and had a lovely chat through as we ordered the sofa with him. We felt so at home and couldn't have had a better purchasing experience. If we need another sofa, we'll be back. We purchased a green Patterdale 3 seater with Chaise end on Friday 17th July 2026 if that helps identify him as he deserves lots of praise.

Matt gave us all the time we needed, he was very understanding, this was a major purchase, he was excellent and would highly recommend him.

Heather is the assistant manager in the Exeter branch. She was great from start to finish, very knowledgeable about all of the products, quick to find out what we were after and to lead us to the best options which were not the most expensive options. Made us feel welcome with a coffee and allowed me to feed my newborn whilst she set everything up. I will definitely return here just because of the customer service.

The lovely lady who saw to everything from start to finish was professional, kind , caring and patient. Explained everything thoroughly.

Really happy with our experience - our lovely sales advisor Sian was so helpful. We figured out what we liked, went home and measured up and went back. Sian was very knowledgeable and helped us with the finer details. We haven't yet received the sofas yet, but from the show room, we can tell they will look good and are really comfy.

Over the period of 3 days, we were excellently listened to and informed each time about various pieces of furniture which had grasped our attention.

Great service, time taken to tend to our needs.

Brought a 3.6k sofa here, initial customer service was pretty good. The sofa isn’t one year old. So far stitching has come away in various places, main chair squeaks and creeks like a pirate ship and now one of the motor has gone. Completely unfit for purpose sofa. Been waiting for 3 months for a repair to be told the motor is made to order and it’ll take 4 months 😂. Now they are refusing a refund. Don’t spend Your money here, wish we went back to Oak furniture land instead of these jokers who have their sofas made in the Middle East.

We had a good experience at DFS Exeter. The staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions without being pushy. They took the time to help us find what we were looking for and explained the options .Really good customer service
