Lovely experience choosing a new sofa with Taiya, very well patient and friendly.

Customer service was excellent, no hard sell.

Was left alone initially to browse without being bombarded which was nice. Was approached by Anthony who was brilliant and helped my selection immensely with his advice. The only thing I didn’t like was the sudden change in manner when the protection plan was declined. I’ve since read some rubbish reviews about service so we’ll see. Apprehensive now!

I’ve just had my new sofa/s delivered and DFS service is certainly going downhill. Missing 5x cushions that delivery driver said that DFS told him we were aware. No communication received and we had waited 13 weeks for this order and it was delayed twice. How long does it take to make 5 cushions. There are small fabric imperfections plus one of the recliner fabric is too slouch on one footrest and does not match the other foot rest. I’m no upholsterer and it is easy to work out that it is sloppy workmanship. This sofa plus expensive cushions is over 4k. Btw I received notification that everything was delivered and the payment emails are all set up too. Still waiting for my call from customer services as they clearly don’t recognise a complaint or give it any priority

Replying to response from DFS today…. I am very interested to hear you say the cushions are out for delivery, as we have not received anything and your customer support team didn’t seem to know where they are in the process and are still investigating.
I have now had three different responses from three different people. Please join up your customer experience

Shanece, from the Northampton branch who was the assistant who helped me with my purchase was very helpful and informative. She went through all options with me and process went very smoothly from when I entered the store until I purchased my sofas. What I particularly liked that there was no pressure to buy.Excellent service

Elisha Hamilton was calm and explained everything without it being overwhelming.
Also gave us different options and appeared genuinely interested in the look we wanted to achieve.

I would like to share my very positive opinion about DFS and especially about Shanece, who assisted me during my visit. My shopping experience was truly excellent and exceeded my expectations.
Shanece was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. She took the time to answer all of my questions with patience and provided great advice, helping me choose the best option. Her approach was both knowledgeable and genuinely warm, which made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of as a customer.
The store itself also made a great impression on me – it is well-organized, with a wide and attractive selection. The entire purchasing process was smooth and hassle-free.
I would highly recommend DFS, and especially Shanece, to anyone who values outstanding customer service. I will definitely be returning in the future!
