My purchase experiance was very dissapointing, not what I was hoping for or expected from a BMW dealer. Poor communication, left me having to repeatedly chase them up rather than having them contact me back. Upon delivery motorcycle was not as described regarding specification. One issue not resolved until I said I was going to reject and return bike. Salesman always polite tho.

Cribbs Causeway branch. D. Lovett. If I could give them 0 I would. Had my car over 7 months ago and said they could replace the bumper after it was hit by a third party. This meant I didn't need to have my car written off. After no initial contact from them (until I chased the matter up myself) I was given a wait until March for the part to come in. Then after waiting all that time got another email to say the date had been pulled and they now didn't know when or if they could get the bumper in. In the meantime I have spent out on repairs and an MOT which were unnecessary if the car was to be written off, which it would have been in the first place if Dik Lovett hadn't promised something they couldn't deliver. They now refuse to offer anything towards the costs incurred so I am at a loss. Shambles of a garage and will be looking to take the matter further

I'm searching for a used Mini and approached D.Lovett online via a Mini UK ad. Toby Caddick called me back very quickly and carefully took note of my requirements. As well as supporting on the particular car in question, Toby maintained a broader search for me across the network. On this occasion, DL wasn't able to help me but Toby did a great job in looking after me and if a car would have been available, I'm sure I would have preferred to buy from him. Thanks Toby

I contacted their customer services as requested but have had no reply from them, I do however now have a curtesy car but still a whole week later do not have my car back!! I spoke with an independent mechanic who says that what they are doing should be a three hour job!! I Had a warning light on my BMW and so booked it in at Cribbs Causeway. I took my car there at 8am on Wednesday morning and was told late pm that a diagnostic's found the fault and i was told that it would cost £516 I agreed that they could go ahead with the repairs. On Thursday morning I received a call to say that they couldn't carry out the repair as a bolt had seized and that it now would need a new manifold as well and this took the cost up to £1400 I again said that they could go ahead they told me that the part would be ordered and that they would have my car fixed by Friday pm. late afternoon when I still had heard nothing I called the service manager on his direct line but no answer so left a message to ask for a call back, which never materialised so I called the customer service desk that went away and came back saying that he was away from his desk but she had left a message for him to call me back, long story short had to call again and now it is Saturday pm I still have no car my husband has called numerous times but can not get hold of the "service manager" and was told that he will call him but still no call, I can't get to work on Monday as I work 35miles away and have no car and apparently they do not have any curtesy cars for me. When you are on hold on the telephone it plays ads stating that you get 5 star service, if this is 5 star I would hate to go somewhere that gives poor service!

Great service from Barney. Knowledgable, friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be back to purchase my next Land Rover

Extremely poor service from the D Lovett Land Rover dealership in Melksham and the sales advisor Tim. I was interested in a car for sale and enquired mid February and was told I cannot view it until 28th February as it was being used my D Lovett's daughter who was on a skiing holiday and the vehicle was at the airport. I patiently waited and then today (27th) I get a call at 17:40 to say that the car has been sold.
I think that this is appalling service and bad practice from the dealership, making a customer wait 2 weeks and then sell it the day before.
Lost all confidence in the dealership, will never buy a car from them and I hope that anyone thinking about buying a car from them, reads this review and goes to a different dealer instead.

I own a 24 plate 340d BMW and was working at Wootten under edge on Wednesday 25th February 2026, I had driven down from Kent mid morning was three miles from my work placement when I hit a pot hole, having run flat tyres I was not too concerned as new it would come up on computer if issue. Got to my destination got out and saw that the passenger front tyre had two rips to the wire and bulge in it, not taking any risks used bmw emergency assistance a technician came out. Unfortunately my journey home that night was too many miles for a space saver, the technician phoned bmw dealership cribs causeway replaced the wheel with space saver, and took my wheel leaving me with postcode and told me to get there asap, as service closing in 20mins but by him going ahead with my wheel meant they could get on and sort tyre. I got there just before closing, within half hour new tyre, 10% discount given, and I’m back on road to Kent. Lloyd, was superb and the speed between bmw assist and and bmw dealer ship enabled me to get back home

Transmission service booked in the advance, after waiting for 5.5 hours I was informed an essential part is missing. The advisor tried to send me home at my cost. She began to turn to debate mode when I questioned her about the extra transport cost. She led me outside the showroom and left me alone. I will stick to a BMW specialist instead and never go to DL.

I have had nothing but great service at DL BMW Bristol, I would highly recommend this dealership , I even travel out of my way to use DL Bristol instead of using my local BMW Dealership which is Sytner Newport, who in my experience dont even touch DL in terms of customer service.

I My repair was Carried out in a timely manner and the finish was excellent.

Mark was always very polite and professional in his response to any questions about the new purchase, could not be more pleased.

The car showroom is very well organized, and the service provided by everyone, from the receptionists to all the sales associates, was exceptional. Luke, who assisted me from my initial contact through placing my order and collecting my new DBx S, was truly fantastic. He was completely professional, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Additionally, Mathew, the sales manager, was instrumental in making the entire process smooth and effortless. It is a wonderful place to purchase an Aston Martin.
