simply came in to use up some vouchers which I managed to do quite successfully, thank you

It was so hot inside no fans or air. Uncomfortable to eat in the restaurant. Would only visit on cooler days in future. Everyone was complaining how warm the building was not a pleasant experience at all

My son and myself had lunch but the items we wanted were not available and had to make a second choice. Service was good.
In the garden centre there was a shortage of large bags of errecacious compost and I had to have small ones instead.

went for breakfast at 11am , queued up to be told breakfast has been stopped due to high demand, basically not enough staff to cook breakfast, not very happy at all. I do find service is very slow. the times we have been to the restaurant.

Tried to use my 2 free coffees' members voucher in the cafe. Was told there wasn't any credits in my name. I was most surprised at this outcome, as I had only used in one month since Christmas 2021. Kind cafe assistant said, he would honor the offer this time, but to contact customer services, to sort out the issue.

Friendly approachable staff answered my plant queries and helped load my car with purchases.Great service. Thank you Dobbies !

Cafe staff were all great.

We went for tea and cakes in the restaurant.
They had run out of cake as the cake which was displayed was been defrosted ready for the next day.
A lot of the tables were covered in dirty pots.
The minimal staff that were working were doing there best.

The main reason we visited Dobbies recently was to have my free birthday cake and drink, which was very nice. Also ended up buying 5 plants. All staff very friendly.

Really like the garden centre and the plants all look cared for. We use the cafe quite regularly too. Always seems a long wait to get served because it seems really slow on the coffee machine. One thing I don't like is a lot of items have no prices on them. Either on the stand they are on or on the items itself. Not always a lot of staff around to ask and I don't want to keep running to the till to ask every time. There was two items I was interested in but didn't purchase because of not having any idea of what the cost was.

Over the past few weeks I have noticed that the available number of staff on the 'shop floor' appear to have reduced. On more than one occasion I've had to go to the check out to ask a question about a product (whereabouts & price). Further, I use Dobbies restaurant once a week (Saturdays) as my go to place for breakfast and recently this service has not been available due to staff shortages. I understand that the problems were due to 'holidays'. I'm a Club Plus member and I feel it would be reasonable to give customers advanced notice (through the website) of the service being unavailable.

Dobbies at Finders have a variety of products - not just garden based. Very helpful staff although twice I have had issues with ‘errors’ on pricing that has made me check receipts more carefully than ever before. Once identified the issues have been dealt with promptly and without question. It shouldn’t be necessary though.
The restaurant has a nice range too although I think a good deep clean would make it even better especially the walls where there are clear signs of wear and tear.
The Dobbies Plus card draws me in regularly and I usually use most of the vouchers - never leave without spending something!!

Had a lovely coffee and snack and bought some colourful plants and a gardening tool. All the while served by warm, helpful and friendly staff.

Extremely helpful checkout operator. Very polite, friendly and informative, in particular regarding the membership card data.
