The service was a bit quicker today as more staff preparing drinks. Food brought to the table by staff.

Had a lovely steak pie for lunch but chips were not very good then had a walk round and bought some lovely plants

I was looking for grow bags and tomato plants, there was limited stock! Only the smaller grow bags were available, which I bought, but found the larger ones for the same price elsewhere. The tomato plants were generally of poor quality, leggy and looked like the frost had caught them. I went to another garden centre and bought plants there. I feel Dobbies is generally more expensive and poorer quality, especially this particular branch!

The state of the cups and spoons in the cafe were disgusting. Spoons were tea stained and cups were dirty.
Staff were good about it but definitely feel the dishwashing is not working correctly.

Friendly, informative and patient staff thanks

I went in to buy compost and fertiliser and decided to have a coffee. Unfortunately there was no decaffeinated coffee available. The staff were very apologetic and explained that they'd been unable to get any for some weeks. This was disappointing, hence my 4 star rating. Everything else was excellent.

We had lunch and the service was friendly and professional.

Always enjoy walking around Dobbies. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
I sometimes go to the cafe and the coffee and food is always lovely too.

the guy who served us was very helpful , went away and searched out the product we wanted and brought it to us on a trolley

We always get good service at our Gosforth Dobbies, staff are always pleasant and helpful. I have the Dobbies Club Card Plus and it is always a bonus to have free tea for two each month and discount on plants and bulbs.

I always find my shopping experience at Dobbies delightful. I was pleased to see staff at restaurant working together. There seems to be a bottle neck of customers at the restaurant around 11. Perhaps extra staff at these times. However my overall visit was very enjoyable.

After paying £12.00 for my Dobbies card a couple of weeks ago, when I visited very recently and presented my card there was no trace if my payment, the assistant said and I didnt get any discount on my plants. The assistant said it was be ause it wasnt a club plus card! Please explain why I have paid for club membership but it hasnt been recognised.

We as a family love this store. The staff are all so friendly and the store has donated plants and Christmas trees to my daughter's school.

We love a visit to the cafe and on this visit the staff were so lovely. Food is always good. Then we enjoyed choosing some plants. We enjoyed seeing other customers with a lovely dog wandering around. A very relaxed place.

Very helpful staff especially a lady called Brenda, who went out of her way to show us where the item was that I needed.

An enjoyable visit as always. Pleasant staff and fabulous stock.

Difficult to find staff to give advice.Prices seem to be rising and plant stock looked in poor health,uncared for. Need to get your act together Dobbies.

The shop was nice and clean.
Had a breakfast and cuppa but very limited choice. NoTHING healthy. I asked for porridge or fruit and yoghurt or even brown toast they had none. No tea pots left either. Very disappointed. Not the best experience there.

very helpful and pleasant staff especially in the Restaurant

I took my mum to Dobbies at Gosforth Park. My mum is in a wheelchair, usually we take her own chair but I knew I wanted to buy plants and pots and worried about space in my car so we decided to use one of the store chairs. This was a big mistake, footrest didn’t fit properly and trying to attach trolley designed for wheelchair was awful, the wheels kept locking, it was almost impossible to turn around with the chair, some of the aisles are too packed to be able to move a chair through them. I don’t think I would take her to this store again in her chair.
