Our meal too far too long to arrive. The meal though was very nice.

A very bright and airy store with a good choice.

Visited the restaurant this afternoon for tea and cake, and although the food was ok, the restaurant was in a shocking state! We eventually found one table without dirty plates/cups etc (literally the only one!) However, the table was absolutely filthy and clearly had not been cleaned in-between use. Disgusting, especially when you consider the price of the food and drinks, which are very expensive.

Reviewing cafe only - long queues, food was cold by the time it got to table. Toast was more like Luke warm bread

Well back again with a review, well we go to dobbies most mornings but over the last few days we've been going to m&s just as a change, lovely coffee and tea and the staff are fabulous,if a que forms its sorted, anyway this morning we thought we would give dobbies gosforth a go as normal i got Americano and a pot of tea the Americano Large instead of £5.20 it is £5.60 what a disgrace for a basic coffee, sounds like profiteering to us, the profit on tea and coffee is brilliant to start with,you are taking the public as mug's and everytime we go we always feel as if we've been mugged,i see it as trying to sell basic quality goods as top quality,the public will see through it and sooner the better, shame on you

Lady we spoke to about garden furniture was very knowledgeable about the products. Think her name was Paula.

Lovely cream scones at both Ponteland and Gosforth garden centres, which I go to a lot, but its so frustrating when you have to wait in the really long hot drinks queue to pay for them, even when not getting a hot drink. There are tills separate to where the hot drinks are made but they never seem to be open any more.

As per an earlier review I found the outside seating area to be dirty with uncleared tables, attracting seagulls who were eating leftover food on the tables. There was litter lying on the floor. I decided not to stay as the place looked unsightly and unhygienic. I note a comment from 9th May complaining of the same issues, clearly nothing has been done to improve the situation. Was very disappointed to find the seating area in this condition.

Worst cafe in Tyne and wear 5 people in front of me in the queue still took 25 minutes to get 2 coffees and a rock hard 4 day old scone and was charged over £8 for the pleasure

Great plants and Lunch. Staff are very helpful and Waitrose is now on the premises.

My wife and I had lunch today. It cost £30
I had Chicken and Ham Pie, my wife had quiche.
I can truthfully say it was the worst mean I have ever bought. The pie was tasteless, the chips not particularly hot, and the vegetable medley insufficiently cooked.
In total we spent over £70 there,I keft most of it and my wife was similarly unimpressed. I will NEVER go back.

I visited your Gosforth store and to be honest, I don’t think I will return. Despite there only being about 5/6 people in front of me in the queue in the restaurant, It took at least 15/20 minutes to be served. One person on till only, one on making drinks only and one serving cooked breakfasts. Cannot work out what took so long? Being a member, I always have a coffee and on this occasion at this store, I did not enjoy it. Also, not given a full cup, quite a way off the top.Every table in the conservatory section was wonky with napkins under the base.

Decent garden centre. Shocking cafe. Dirty and unkempt. Filthy trays and tables and where to start with the floor-disgusting.
Staff dour and miserable. Food advertised but not available.
Decor of the place is non existent. Won’t return.

We could have a cup of tea with the dog. Well the dog didn't have one but we did.

Every time I visit and use the food hall the queues are so long. Very slow service, only 2 staff working,at any given time. Waited approximately 15 mins to get served,one member very helpful, the other looked totally fed up.
Place needs to recruit more staff as it's been like this for over a year. Saving grace was the food ordered was hot and tasty. Time of visit was late morning place not that busy.

I took my sister for a light lunch on her birthday and despite there being a sizeable queue we did not have to wait for long The food was well-presented, hot and delicious. As I am a wheelchair user, I found the cafe area to be extremely comfortable with ample space for my wheelchair without any disruption to others. The staff treated us very courteously and with diligence. We both enjoyed the whole experience and to then pick up a few great sale bargains was the cherry on top. Well done, keep up the good work!
