I am sangeeta and I had an appointment to view a property at 137 Regent house,Brentwood Essex at 4 pm on 18 Feb. I reached there on time but when I reached there , there was no representative at property to attended visitors and 137 house that was mentioned in mail from their team was not there in entire building it was up to 136 apartments only in that building. We called multiple times at give number in the mail but didn’t provide any support, every time new person pickup the call with some random wrong information with great believe . It was really wired dealing in such situations in which authority who provided that information you on mail itself saying that they don’t know any details on same .
I would not recommending anyone to trust their team just on their mail or any kind communications first time , you should confirm things with them multiple times in written.

I would not recommend this company even if you are desperate to sell your property.
They approached me to list my property and when I said the price that I want is £345K for a new build 1 bed flat 77smq on a main road, they suggested that I am not going to achieve even £300K. This is even less than what I paid when I bought the flat in 2019!
They are just looking for an easy sale without much effort.
Also, they keep suggesting their mortgage adviser who is apparently working in their branch through a partnership as the best specialist in the area. When I had a chat with her and mentioned that I used L&C mortgages before, she said that "they are not that good, don't they", well they are actually amazing and FREE. When the sales agent spoke with me it sounded more like he tries to sell this lady's services than helping me to sell my flat.
Honestly, this is a horrible and very stressful experience, especially for a first-time seller, who is trying to make their next move.

We recently started our search for our new home in or near Woodford Green and have seen a few houses with different estate agents.We were recently contacted by Joanne Cark of Douglas Allen, Woodford Green branch. She was very pleasant, efficient and totally professional and arranged a viewing for us on 11 Feb 2023. It was indeed a pleasure to meet her along with the very pleasant vendor. Joanne was as expected brilliant and was able to give us all necessary details regarding the house in question. She was very efficient, friendly and helpful. We are certain that based on our needs, she will find the house commensurate to our needs. We look forward to having more interaction with her.

I used the Hornchurch branch, Their manager David said all the right things and then delivered very little even going as far as outright lying to us about how the market properties resulting in us having to sell at a lower price than we could have got earlier. No responsibility taken and simply treat our complaints like an inconvenience, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Luke and Ray were excellent in getting my property sold for the price I wanted. I was previously on with another well known (but very inexperienced) agency in the area who were unable to get any offers on my house in 3 months. Within a few weeks of being with Douglas Allen I had a few offers one of which I accepted and successfully completed thanks to these guys. It was a pleasure working with them and would highly recommend if you want experienced, professional and helpful agents. Thanks guys!! Hope to work with you again in the future

David, through his experience put our flat on the market and done all the viewings in one day - his honesty and professional knowledge put us at ease. Chelsey then took over and helped push the sale through even though others made things difficult (ie management companies) - we have used these guys before and would definitely use them and recommend them again.

Jodie and Joanna have been lovely, professional and friendly from the start of our letting process all the way to the end. They answered every question with a quick response time and accommodated any of our requests without hesitation. I highly recommend Douglas Alan if you are looking for a new place to call home.

Hornchurch Branch.
We purchased our house from them last year whilst houses were selling fast. We met David at the viewing who was open & honest with us from the start, unlike many other local agents! This branch is excellent, the purchase was handled by Chelsea who ensured we remained in regular contact throughout and was always available to help. The chain nearly collapsed after exchange yet Chelsea remained professional and again, honest. We completed just before Christmas and would not look elsewhere for an estate agent in the future. Completely professional, put other agents to shame.

Don’t give you house to those one, you passing offer and they don’t pass those to the seller,
